Excellent in Every Way
First and foremost, let it be known that I worked with two other safari companies while visiting Kenya, and I found them overcrowded or uncoordinated, or both. One company completely forgot that I even had a safari booked at all and was scrambling to find a driver the morning of the safari at 6am. It was bad.
Enter African Mosaic: a breath of fresh air. Max coordinated the safaris perfectly and was very communicative and transparent about costs, stays…everything. The lodging itself was gorgeous and comfortable. My driver and guide, Mr. Omar, was fantastic—kind, knowledgeable about the animals, punctual to the MINUTE, and he will even teach you Swahili phrases if you’re interested! The level of professionalism from African Mosaic is important in any international trip, but especially as a solo female traveler. For that reason, I cannot thank African Mosaic enough for concluding my Kenyan adventure in a wonderful way.

Very organised and reliable. Always accommodating.
We had an amazing trip. Travelled many miles and hours in the back of Peters Jeep. Stayed in some lovely safari lodges. Peter was really knowledgeable and reliable. Nothing seemed to faze him. Thank you.

Very considerate and great communicator.
Bartazary did a great job of communicating the details of our half-day tour to Mikumi Natiomal Park. He was on time to pick my wife & I from the hotel at 4:30am. He is a long drive from Dar Es Salaam. We did a take a quick break halfway to the park. Once we arrive we started our tour. We saw Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Impalas, Zebras, Python, Giraffes, Buffalos, Birds, Wildebeests, Warthogs and Monkeys. We went during the dry season, which many animals are near a source. It made it easier to see all the animals. We had lunch a couple at the park. My wife and I decided to end the tour early since we had seem all the animals. We took the drive back and arrived to our hotel around 8:30/8:45pm. Overall it was a great experience that we’ll never forget. Thank you Bartazary for a memorable day.

Kingfisher Safaris know their business and are excellent at it!
First rate at every turn! Martin, who has so much personal experience of Botswana, guided us through our options and found a perfect fit to match our request and answered any questions we had incredibly promptly. We went for a Mobile Tented Safari for 10days covering three camps; Chobe, Khawai and Moremi. We were met at Maun Airport by our guide, Pilot, and his team and they collectively saw to it we had an experience we could never have imagined as it was out of this world! I don't camp but was prepared to sleep little to see the animals in their natural environment. I was expecting basic. However, I did sleep and on a bed, there was a shower with hot water and hot water in basins supplied whenever it was required. There was also a loo with seat! Meals were plentiful and delicious (a three course every evening - 4*). Drinks and snacks beside a log fire watching the spectacular sunsets whilst hearing the elephants in the bush next to you or the hippos in the water even lions in the distance. The safaris themselves (generally two a day) were conducted by Pilot. I cannot rate Pilot highly enough. So many years of experience, so much respect from the other guides, incredible knowledge about the bush, the animals and birds - he had a wicked sense of humour too. He taught us how to track and as a consequence of his tracking ability we saw ALL the animals. Tented, yes. Basic, certainly not. Spectacular, absolutely!

Fantastic service, highly recommend
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Antony was a pleasure to book with, very responsive and helpful. We got picked up from our hotel and taken to Wilson airport before the short 40min flight to Keerok airstrip. Stayed at Ashnil camp for 2 nights and had safari adventures with our guide Henry who was amazing. Henry was so knowledgable and funny. Today we had the flight back to Wilson, picked up by Antony and taken to our hotel. So smooth and fantastic service.
We saw so many animals in such a short space of time. Highly recommend booking with Tazma holidays. You will not be disappointed!

Jimmy is the best!
Everything went very smoothly. The communication with Lennox was super clear and fast so we knew exactly which time a driver would be picking us up from the hotel. Jimmy was our tour guide and he’s the best! Super friendly and accommodating, and he knows a lot about the park and the wildlife. He made sure we saw every animal there is to see: even a rhino! This was an unforgettable experience and we have Jimmy to thank.

Emma is an amazing, bubbly and knowledgeable person. Book her!
Emma took us on two day trips in August of 2022 in the greater Johannesburg area. She showed us around at the Maropeng, Cradle of humankind site and Soweto. She knows her stuff, is very entertaining and seemingly knows everybody wherever we went. I would recommend Emmah time and again.

Be aware of last minute surprises and disappointment, as a disappointing start and a sad end.
The company maybe good, so long as they give you their dedicated tour guides.
We felt we were duped, in that the dedicated driver was changed the morning of the start of the tour, resulting in a late start. The replacement guide (who later confirmed he was freelance and not with the company) seemed like he was dragged out of bed and tired throughout the day. He was a nice guide, but we felt like things were rushed. There was no debrief at the star and or cautions during the drive. This was particularly important when a deep ravine was attempted to cross requiring a sharp decline. No warning was given, which sadly resulted in the wife falling from the roof vantage point and damaging her ribs and arm. The Serengeti was an awesome place, but sadly the promise of seeing the migration by the tour company was just a hype to get us to sign up with them as no attempt was made to try and view the migration, which sadly was told by a guide from a different company that the package/days would not allow for such a drive. The camps were ok but in need of maintenance, especially one where the hot water was not functioning, resulting in a bucket and electric kettle being provided. The last day was the biggest disappointment as it was Ngorongoro crater and home to the Rhino, which sadly, after repeated requests to try and find the Rhino, was never attempted and the day was wasted by killing time driving, stopping for 5 minutes, driving stopping etc. Then to our shock and horror, the trip was cut short by 40 minutes and we were rushed off to the airport without any further game drive.
