Go on a walking safari here and get your feet dirty in the Africa bush. There's no better way to experience the completely silent gallop of giraffes, to get in "touch" with rhinos and see African wildlife from a viewpoint outside of a safari truck.

Review about Murchison Falls National Park by davisww

The immense power of the Nile going over Murchinson falls is breathtaking. There is plenty of wild game with Lake Albert and Congolese mountains in the distance.

There is a lot of highway (beware of elephants on the road) to travel before you reach Katima Mulilo but camping next to the beautiful river is worth it.

About: Zambia
See the great Victoria falls and walk with rhinos
Overall rating
4/5

Zambia has a combination of adventure sports, beautiful scenery (not to belittle the great Victoria Falls as mere "scenery") and excellent walking safaris. A return trip is highly recommended, as Victoria Falls completely changes but is just as dramatic in the dry season as in the rainy season.

About: Namibia
Endless desert to endless sea
Overall rating
4/5

After driving for days through beautiful but scorching desert-scapes, we crested a dune and were chilled by a breeze coming off the dark blue Atlantic. This is an isolated, beautiful, and rarely-visited part of the world. In Namibia you can see big game as in other African countries, but also explore the desert and drive for miles up the Skeleton coast without seeing another person. They also have the best steaks--wild game or beef--of any other safari destination.

Excelent accomodation, ample food and good variation of courses. Fine vararity of wildlife within short transport distance. Few tourists in this area, thus the best Bush vibe here.
