Well organised, great experience, beautiful accommodations
My girlfriend and I did a five day tour to the Crater Lakes, Bigodi Swamp and Queen Elisabeth National Park with Mamaland Safaris. We first wanted to do a three day safari, but changed our minds. Edrisa was easy to contact by mail, and was very helpful in expanding our itinerary! Moses was our guide on the tour, whom we, coincidently, already knew from a previous tour to Murchison Falls. He was everything we could’ve wished for as a guide; patient, knowledgeable and experienced, with lots of enthusiasm for Uganda and its wildlife. We were picked up from Kampala, right on time, and we left for the Isunga Lodge, near Kibale NP. This lodge was absolutely fabulous, with a breath-taking view over the Kibale forest. We saw many beautiful birds and monkeys on our guided walks in the surrounding environment and had a great stay. We then went to the Pumba Safari Cottages, right at the edge of QE NP, and went on two game drives, where we saw elephants at a few meters distance, lions, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, different antelopes and many birds! On the last day, we went to the Kalinzu forest and saw, after a long trek through the beautiful forest, two chimps in the wild! In short, we had a fabulous trip, saw more than we could have wished for and everything was very well organised. Thanks again to Moses and Mamaland Safaris for a wonderful experience that we will cherish for a long!

Fast response, very reasonable price and excellent tour planning.
Over all our experiance is excellent. We worked with Robert and he gave us great service. He respond very quick and solve any problem or question we had with a reasonable time.
Our tour guide Aroni and Joel were very good. Robert and Aroni went out of their way to locate our missing luggage and bring to the park on the next day. They had to send someone back to the airport the next day. We were really treated as their guest and we are very thankful on that. What they did for us was more than what they have agreed to do for us.
Aroni was calm and he make sure we covered everything. In our opinion he was number one. I suggest you ask for him. He make sure your luggage are covered so they don't get dusty every time he loads it. He gave a true meaning to the "hakuna matata" saying. We had no worries while we were touring with him. He managed to help us see the big fives.
Robert helped as getting transportation on the extra day we had their in Nairobi. That was not part of the tour and he was even willing to send us someone to give us a city tour. Thanks for that too.
My only complain if any would be the hotel to be communicated better. They ask us pay and when we told them to call Robert. He took care of it right away. It seems like a communication gap between the hotel and victor who also work at the tour company. Victor apologized once he knew that he was wrong. Things like this could be irritating do be careful victor.
In general, we are very happy with the service and recommend this company to our friend and families with no hesitation.
Thanks for the job well done.

Great first encounter with Uganda's wildlife and parks with Living Wild Tours!
My girlfriend and I did a three day tour to Murchison Falls with Living Wild Tours, and Moses was our guide. This was our first time in Uganda, first safari ever and first time in Africa, so there was lots for us to see! We were picked up from Kampala, nice on time, and we asked many questions along the way to the parks about Uganda and everything we saw. Moses was a very patient and knowledgeable guide, who had all the answers ready and was very willing to share his enthusiasm for Uganda, and its wildlife, with us. We went on two game drives, and saw lions, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, different antelopes and many birds! The accommodations where we stayed were very nice and well chosen. We also went on a boat cruise on the Nile, saw the beautiful rhinos at Ziwa and got a close view at the Murchison Falls. In short, we had a fabulous trip, saw more than we could have wished for and everything was very well organised. Thanks again to Moses and Living Wild Tours for this wonderful experience, and for this delightful first encounter with Uganda and Africa!

Stellar customer service along with an amazing Safari!
Tekko was recommended to us by a friend and we 100% would do the same. We just got dropped off at our hotel after a five day safari, and I couldn’t wait to sing the praises of our entire tour. From the first email I sent, Carol was extremely polite, professional, and quick to respond to my many (many many many) questions. Her detail to customer service was the reason we decided to book with Tekko. Our safari guide was Steven, and he definitely lived up to the hype. He has been doing safari tours for some time now and his experience shows. Steven knew where to go to find the animals we were hoping to see. His driving made us feel very safe. You could also tell he was well respected in the field because of his interactions with the other guides and all the staff at our camps. We saw so many incredible animals, met so many wonderful people, and with the beautiful scenery of Kenya to go along it will be something we remember for a lifetime. In fact, we plan to return with friends and family and will definitely use Tekko Tours again. We would like to thank everyone involved with making our Safari as spectacular as it was. A special “asante sana” to Carol and our “Rafiki,” Steven!

Trip of a life Time
This tour more than lived up to my expectations. Our guide, Kasimu, was knowledgeable on all topics. He communicated the itinerary to us both the day before and the morning when we depart for each activity.
The tour itself was nicely paced with some very active days and some where we were able to relax and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. He provided bottled water and fresh fruit and inquiring as to how we were feeling.
All the guides and rangers we encountered were also kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking days were fun and exciting. There was a respect for those primates from those who live and work there.
I liked that we were given the opportunity to experience the culture by visiting the villages. The variety of activities was excellent. I would certainly travel with you again.

Unforgettable experience
I booked on Kenya Expresso Tours a three days trip to Massai Mara National Park. Both the experience itself and the organization provided by this company were excellent. The trip took place by the end of April which, although is usually a rainy period, has as an advantage that the park is not so crowded as in other periods of the year. The process to plan the trip was quite straightforward thanks to the expertise of Paul, tour consultant, that arranged a personalized itinerary at a very competitive price. I really appreciated that, to prevent the possibility to find out problems with mud on land roads, Paul upgraded the vehicle originally booked to another one of superior performance with no extra cost. The assigned guide, Joseph, is a nice person, with long-lasted experience in this task. He knows every corners of the park, what gave me the opportunity to have a comprehensive view of its wild life. Furthermore, he was very friendly at all times and truly committed to make as pleasant as possible the trip.

Excellent trip to Akagera national park, Rwanda with Frank
Frank did an excellent job, taking us on this tour of Akagera National Park. He drove us there from Kigali, then we stayed in the game lodge, then the next day we did a day long game ride, and then drove back to Kigali. Frank was excellent in everything. He had a lot of information about the history of the park, what kinds of animals are in there, and other sights along the way. The drive back and forth was very comfortable - he had a great car that was perfect for the 4 adults and the 2 small children we had with us. Once we got to the park, he had great advice on how to go about the game ride, to maximize the chances of seeing all kinds of animals. He was able to show us most of the big 5 animals, even though of course there's no guarantee you'll see them. The adults and especially the 2 small children (ages 3 and 5) loved the full experience. We will definitely recommend Frank to everyone who is visiting Rwanda, and we will definitely go on safari with him again on our next trip!

Wish I could have had longer!
Ambrose was my driver/guide for an 8-day birdwatching/wildlife holiday which Mamaland Safaris put together for me. Mamaland were very patient and amended my itinerary several times to suit my preferences. Accommodation throughout was good, food was excellent with lots of choices for a vegetarian. In retrospect, I should have stayed a minimum of 2 nights in each place we visited to allow me more time for experiencing the facilities on offer/ambience of the location but I was anxious to cram as much as possible, with as much diversity as possible, into the 8 days. Result was there was a lot of time spent travelling from place to place, on roads that were, sometimes, challenging (to put it midly!). Throughout the trip, Ambrose was an excellent ambassador for a country he truly loves and is keen to share with visitors. His knowledge of birds/wildlife was extensive and his passion for conservation was infectious. I truly could not have had a better guide/companion/friend to introduce me to the wonderful country that is Uganda.

More personalized, more affordable than the big safari tour companies (Gamewatchers, Expert Africa)
Natural Tour Kenya Safaris provided me with an experience of a lifetime. For 9 days, I had a private guide/driver for 3 different reserves in Kenya. My guide was extremely knowledgeable, tracking wildlife and providing background information. Because I had a private driver, my schedule revolved around my availability, rather than the set times for day and afternoon game drives given by the camps. Also, I traveled solo to Kenya, so the private guide/driver provided me with an extra sense of security.
Because this was my second safari to Kenya, I knew the itinerary I wanted to have. I contacted 3 different safari companies, stating the camps/reserves I wanted to visit. The well-known safari companies, quoted me $6000 more than Natural World Kenya Safaris! Natural World is Kenyan owned, so they are able to keep costs down, cutting out the middle man of travel agents, but keeping the revenue local. My only disappointment with the agency was that I wanted a more detailed itinerary months in advance. However, with the last minute changes in flight times for airstrip transfers, I can understand why I received the itinerary a few days in advance of my arrival.
I highly recommend Natural World Kenya Safaris- you won't be disappointed.
