Fantastic local knowledge. Terrific recommendations. Great attention to detail. Easy to work with.
5/5

Darren and the team helped us book a vacation of a lifetime. Listened carefully to what we wanted and set up a great itinerary. Fantastic guides on the ground. Wonderful recommendations for where to go, where to stay, how to balance out the trip. Everything worked flawlessly on the ground. It exceeded our expectations.

Thanks Darren and crew!

A once in a lifetime experience for all the family.
5/5

We spent a week with Wilson in Tanzania in 3-4 different locations. He was organised and friendly the whole time, forming great relationships with all five of us. He was brilliant at tracking down the big 5, especially leopards, and was really knowledgeable about all the animals and plants. I wish Wilson a great success with his new venture and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a trip with him.

Awesomest tour guide In Uganda!
5/5

Bujo Safaris, Owner Johnson Burihose is the best!
I’ve hired his services for my two Safaris when I was leading, first a Sister Cities delegation of 13 people in 2015, then a Rotary delegation of 4 people in 2019.

In both trips Johnson has been excellent.
All my delegates were very impressed with his quality of tourguide services for our Safaris. Uganda can be a complicated place so it’s essential to have a really good tour guide.
Johnson had plenty of communication with us to ensure all our members interests were taking care of, arranging our tricky scheduling and levels of hotel accommodations, He even did tough negotiations during our trip at each hotel to get us some very good prices for some really great places to stay.

Uganda has incredible people, wildlife and natural beauty. Bujo Safaris is the best way to make most of your trip.

Bujo’s prices are quite moderate and their service excellent— always on time, plenty of communication to make sure our schedule and interests were accommodated.

If you travel anywhere in Uganda you must hire Bujo Safaris to guide you!
Owner Johnson Burihose is the awesomest tourguide in Uganda.

Memorable safari
5/5

A fantastic experience! The safari was well organized and exactly what we expected from Bujo Safari staff. Johnson knew the Queen Elizabeth’s Park well and we were confident in his driving and keeping us safe at all times! We managed to see so many animals in the wild. It was a once of a lifetime visit. I highly recommend Bujo Safaris

Good tour of central and southern Kenya. Splurge for nicer lodges and you will not be disappointed!
5/5

I did a 7 day joining tour with Axis Africa and Lennox was great with communicating from the beginning to end. I was able to tailor my safari with nicer lodges and was so glad I did. The Mara Sopa Lodge was amazing with attentive staff! Lake Nakuru Lodge was right inside the national park and was in a beautiful setting, also with great staff. Lake Naivasha Sopa was phenomenal with hippos and giraffes grazing on your back lawn at night! This place is the closest you'll get to Giraffe Manor without spending thousands! In Amboseli, I stayed at Kibo Safari Camp, which is another luxury tented camp and I cannot say praise it enough--the setting, the food, the staff, and the rooms! Fantastic!

John was our driver/guide and incredibly nice, but quiet. We saw the Big 5 and John was patient with our birdwatching. My one suggestion would be a little more communication from John about what each day will hold. Nowhere in my itinerary did it mention Hells Gate National Park/hike into the gorge, so the day we did this I was unprepared. Fortunately, luggage was in the back of the van and I was able to change into proper footwear and the hike was enjoyable and worth it (if you have a big camera, leave it behind on the hike). On the plus side, I am a teacher and John knew this and arranged a visit to a village school in the Masai region and while short, it was a highlight. The Lake Naivasha boat trip was not included with everyone's safari, but was in mine, and it was great. Add it, as it offers a different perspective of the hippos, birdlife, and local fishing community.

If I go back to Kenya, I would definitely recommend Axis Africa. If I could do it over, I would upgrade to a land cruiser or something similar if offered. Not sure if Axis Africa offers that option, but it definitely would've been worth it as the vans are tight when full and we had 7 people 3/4 of the time, not counting the driver.

Excellent Service from beginning to beyond the end
5/5

From the first inquiry to even a week beyond the safari, Maureen was amazing, answering every single question I had and helping plan the most perfect private safari for this solo traveler in Tanzania. Horace was a wonderful guide, providing excellent information and making sure I had the best experience everywhere we went. I became ill at the end of my journey and Maureen met us on our way through Arusha to make sure I was ok, then checked on me multiple times as I continued to travel in other parts of Africa after my time in Tanzania with African Savannah Trekkers ended. That's what I would call excellent customer service. I visited Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, and Lake Manyara NP. I stayed at Hhando Coffee Lodge and Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp and was pleased with all accommodations and the Land Cruiser was spacious and clean every day. I cannot recommend African Savannah Trekkers enough! Their high ratings are believable and I would definitely use them again if I ever return to Tanzania for safari again!

It was great traveling with you to Amboseli National Park on my Nature photography project. You have the most friendly staff and guide and I were able to see most of the Big five. Great Work. Highly recommend!

Best holiday ever!!
5/5

Everything was even better than we imagined. The safari tour itself was unbelieveable, the accomodations were beautiful. What an experience!! I loved that we had the same guide/driver everyday so we got to know him and have fun together! He was very sweet and funny, we had the best time! It truly was the best holiday so far and i can’t wait to do this again someday.
