Awesome Mara Safari
We had a great time during our 3 day tour to the zebra Mara camp. We did a full day game drive with our guide James, who has a terrific knowledge and a great sense of humor. We saw so many lions and all the other great animals. Accommodation can also be highly recommended. We especially liked our high intensity Picknick lunch close to the lions ;)

Very god and special expedition
We had an unforgettable experience on our family safari, andthat was thanks to Siafu Tanzania Safaris. From the very beginning, they made sure every detail was perfectly tailored to our needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable adventure. Our guide was exceptional—professional, respectful, and always punctual. He had an amazing ability to spot animals from incredible distances that we could hardly even see, making us feel like we were on a truly special expedition. Thanks to his skill and expertise, we had the privilege of seeing the Big 5 and so much more. We also liked staying at Siafu Serenity Lodge, was very clean, the food was delicious abd staff was kind and helpful. We would highly reccomend Siafu Tanzania Safaris to anyone!

Professional and patient
The vehicles were clean and well maintained, the drivers were fun, professional and respectful of the animals. Excellent value for money and again, the drivers made it excellent. We had a very good lunch as well! Clare was very good at managing our groups tour details. We never had to wonder what was going on because communication was excellent đź‘Ś

We had an unforgettable safari experience with this company and highly recommend their services.
From start to finish, everything was organized perfectly — the lodges were beautiful, the itinerary was well-planned, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
A special thank you to our guide and driver, Ken, who truly made this trip exceptional. Ken is not only an incredibly skilled and safe driver — which made us feel comfortable at all times — but also a highly knowledgeable and passionate guide. He went above and beyond every day to ensure we saw as many animals as possible, sharing his expertise and tracking skills to give us the best possible sightings. On top of that, Ken is a genuinely kind and pleasant person, which made our time together even more enjoyable.
If you’re considering a safari in Kenya, you can’t go wrong with this company — they made the trip truly special!

Absolutely awesome with memories to last a lifetime !!
Having enjoyed the safari experience previously in other African and Indian reserves, this was very much a "must do" experience for my better half and I when visiting Cape Town (and South Africa) for the 1st time. After some careful research, decided best location would be the Garden Route Lodge and Game reserve as it covered a greater area and offered potential of viewing wildlife in natural habitat well away from any of the traditional "day trip" safaris accessible from Cape Town.
Chose Gems of Africa and from first communication, through all transactions and importantly transport to and from the reserve, everything was extremely smooth, professional and seamless. Would definitely utilise this company again (next time it's Botswana for us) as they provided everything anyone would require plus lodge and accommodation provided at the Garden Route Game Reserve was outstanding. Excellent value for money as our package included x4 game drives - each one of which was different and offered excellent opportunities to see wildlife up close and personal. Our guide was outstanding, very knowledgable plus clearly put the wildlife first and foremost, loved the limited number of vehicles being in one area at any given time ie: when observing a male cheetah on a kill, or lion, rhino with calf etc, no more than 2 jeeps were near at any one time thus allowing the animals to go about their activities unhindered.
Was very impressed by overall service, drivers and vehicles to and from Reserve excellent - thoroughly recommend.

charming, but not reliable and cheating
Very bad end to initiallly good experience!
We had an almost 4 weeks trip in Uganda and Rwanda.
The company owner (Meddy) drove us from Rwanda to Uganda and back. We we visited friends, the Murchinson Falls National Park including Budogo Chimpanse Tracking, and Mambasa Wet Lands, toured Rwanda (Musanze, Rubavu, Rusizi, Huye and Kigali). In the ed we did a 1,5 days tour to Akagera National Park. For the last trip, an employee was employed driver.
First everything went well and we had really great experiences. (Not the Company Owner is driving very fast.)
The travel was planned by myself and covened with the Company Owner and we paid in advance. For the last trip the company owner did not only ignore what we had convened, he changed the lodge, which made a big difference, but he did not tell us before and did not give a clear explanation, after questioning. The communication was very bad. I got very angry.
But more important in the end we had a problem about payment.
Arriving at Akagera Park Visitor Center we learnt to our shock, that the companys credit card was not charged suffiently. No explanation. The company owner asked me to pay and he would reimburse me. I trusted him, because he had done this before and he was friend of friend...
But in this case, Meddy first started to delay and to question details.... He was back in Uganda, I was in Rwanda. He did not pick phone. We texted..... In the end he reimbursed but in tranches and up to today incompletely, and only after many discussions, reminders and big delays!!! Up to now there is a still a balance due that he did not pay. He keeps on promising, and then not action but silence.
This startedd early February and we are not mid March!! This is not professional.
Advises: Don't pay all in advance, don't pay on his behalf and do not rate until the very end of the trip and all bills settled!

Brilliant experience, would recommend everyone
My girlfriend and I had an amazing trip and unforgettable experience with Kihinido Tours and Safaris for a reasonable price.
First I came in touch with Winnie, who answered me every question immediately. I felt free to ask everything, even if the question seemed dumb. She was very polite and professional, and the booking process was very easy and fast. Then she also considered our wishes, like additional breakfast and the pick-up place.
Then the actual trip started, and Michael picked us up from our hotel in Dar es Salaam. He was on point and very polite even if it was 4 am in the morning. We had a very pleasant 4-hour ride to the Mloka Safari lodge and a very nice talk with Michael. His English is very fluent, and he is also a smart person one can have interesting conversations with.
The Mloka Safari lodge was not very special or luxurious, but the staff was very polite and the food was also very delicious. After that we went on a full-day (9 am - 6.30 pm) game drive in Nyerere National Park with Michael and Tiko. For us the day was unforgettable; besides very nice and unique landscapes, we saw giraffes, lions, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and much more. Michael and Tiko also told us very much about the animals, which was very interesting. Their passion for what they were doing was contagious.
We also learned much about their lives and Tanzania in general and told them things about Germany. We felt very safe all the time, and the two were trying their best to show us much. This game drive surpassed our expectations.
On the next day we had a boat drive in the morning in the Rufiji River, which lasted 2 hours. Luckily the boat was covered with a roof so the strong rain was bearable. We enjoyed this experience, where we saw hippos, crocodiles, and monkeys because of the unique landscape, but would not do it a second time. I would recommend talking to Kihinido Tours and adding an additional game drive in the morning instead of the boat drive, which I assume would be possible because of the flexibility of this company.
Ultimately the ride back was also very pleasant, and we talked for hours with Michael. He brought us to the airport in Dar es Salaam, and we arrived on time for our flight.
To come to an end, I would really recommend this company for a safari because our experience was perfect. Every person we were involved with (especially Michael) was very polite and professional. We also would really recommend doing a two-day (or longer) trip instead of a one-day trip like people who are staying in Zanzibar like to do. We also stayed actually in Zanzibar but came to Dar es Salaam for the safari and spent three very nice days on the mainland, which was the highlight of our vacation. I recommend everybody choose this company for a safari experience, and especially the people we were in touch with. Thank you for everything.

Excellent from the start til the end
Efficient planning from the beginning til the end.The journey started with paying the balance money of the tour at the office. Then was sent to another spot where other tourists were waiting.Took a 4WD to Masai Mara, guided by Abdul Dennis.Vehicle was comfortable. Was sent over to Flair Camp Experiences.Very good lodge with good value with fullboard meal. They served fine dining style like food during breakfast, lunch and dinner.Electricity was working well with hot shower and wifi.Evening game on the first day was excellent as we got to see many animals and sunset. The second full day game was great too and although we didn't get to see Rhinoceros(one of the big five),but we got to see plenty other animals.Definitely worth it.Abdul Dennis has tried his best to locate all the animals for us.He is a great guide.Overall everything is great.Shall return back again in the future.

18-Days Safari Exploring Almost All Uganda’s National Parks
18 Days, All of Uganda, and a Ton of Adventure!
If you're going to Uganda, do it properly! Our group of twelve spent January 28 – February 14, 2025, on an unforgettable journey with Tubale Safari’s tour: “18-Days Safari Exploring Almost All Uganda’s National Parks” (yes, it was just as epic as it sounds!). And we don’t regret a second of it – this trip felt like a National Geographic documentary, but without the TV screen and popcorn.
Most visitors come to Uganda mainly for gorillas and chimpanzees (understandably so – who can resist those big, soulful eyes?), but we wanted more. No basic “must-see” checklist for us – we aimed to truly get to know the country. Some in our group were seasoned Africa travelers (for the seventh time, no less!), so we have plenty of experience for comparison. And we can say with certainty: this trip was top-notch!
The itinerary was put together with expert precision, offering the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and delicious meals. The accommodations were fantastic, the food was excellent, and our drivers? Absolute legends! Kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable – they made sure every moment was smooth and enjoyable. A special shout-out to Annette, who did an amazing job planning everything down to the finest detail.
And, of course, the wildlife! There was plenty of it, magnificent and exactly where it should be – in its natural habitat. Every national park on the itinerary was fascinating, but Kidepo Valley… that was a true hidden gem, a breathtaking landscape straight out of a dream. Meeting the Karamojong people was another highlight, offering a deep dive into local culture. White-water rafting on the Nile gave us a thrill, and then… the gorillas and chimpanzees. No words needed – just WOW!
There’s simply too much to sum up in words. But if you have the time and opportunity – this trip is highly recommended! A huge thank you to everyone who made this adventure unforgettable!
