Excellent animal viewing
Had an excellent time, saw almost all the main animals (missed leopard!) Fabulous price for the experience. Really good food, and accommodations were as described. Mary was accessible on WhatsApp whenever I had a question. Was in a Toyota Landcruiser for safari - large and comfortable.

We began planning our trip to South Africa with a group of family and friends in September 2024. Craig Lucke and Bianca Els of Southern African Tours were contracted to manage the in-country arrangements, including internal flights, hotel accommodations in both Kruger and Cape Town, group transportation in Cape Town, and various excursions.
We made our initial payment in September 2024 and completed the full payment before our departure. However, those in our group responsible for communicating with Craig and Bianca experienced increasing difficulty in getting timely or clear information—especially as the departure date approached. Despite repeated requests, we never received a final itinerary or confirmation numbers for any of the bookings before leaving the U.S.
Upon arrival in South Africa, we discovered that no hotel reservations, internal flights, or excursions had been booked or paid for. We were essentially stranded in a foreign country without any confirmed arrangements. Thankfully, the situation was salvaged—largely due to the efforts of our group members and the kindness of several locals we met along the way.
This was an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. We have never encountered a situation where a company took full payment and failed to deliver any of the promised services. We strongly advise others to be cautious when considering Southern African Tours.

Perfect in every way
As a Solo over 60 female traveler it can be hard to balance adventure with safety. Tammy at Pembury nailed it. Every detail of the trip was personally designed for MY taste exclusively. She put in a huge effort to get me to everywhere I wanted and to see and do everything I dreamed of and not once did I feel unsafe. She kept it in my price range and found top choices at excellent value for money. She even check in with me during the trip and after. Ten stars for service

An unforgettable safari experience with Park season
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya, organised by Peter’s Peak Season Africa Safaris. Right from the beginning, everything was handled so well. He even recommended a great hotel in Nairobi before our safari started, guided us through the visa process, and was always quick to respond to any questions. His attention to detail made the whole trip smooth and stress-free.
A special mention must go to our driver and guide, John (Wamaria). He is truly outstanding – immensely knowledgeable, caring, and an extraordinary spotter of wildlife. We learned so much about Kenya’s wildlife, culture, and history from him. He made sure we were well looked after throughout the safari, and his passion for his work really shone through.
Kenya itself is simply brilliant – breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and the warmest, most welcoming people. It is every wildlife lover’s paradise.
We cannot recommend Peter and Peak Season highly enough. If you’re considering a safari, this is the team you want to travel with!

A wonderful Safari!
I recommend Richard and Tanzania Timeless Safaris to anyone who wants to take one. He took care of all details and was very helpful before we left the US. He was also very flexible in handling needs that arose while we were there.
I would also strongly recommend our guide Stanley, if he is available. He was outstanding.
Our Safari was also an excellent value for the money, compared to some other providers we saw online.
One of my friends kept track of how many species we saw - 135! We also enjoyed spending a day visiting Bushman, Maasai and Datooga villages.

Life changing vacation
This safari vacation blew our expectations off the map! From the booming to the trip
Home, Thomson was there for us. Every detail was clearly planned and explained. We had never travelled internationally before but staff at Thomson walked hand and hand with us. Once they intercepted us at the Kilimanjaro airport we felt at ease. The information and excitement continued every day as did the fun, animal viewing and exceeded expectations! The guides were phenomenal, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate about their country, community and of course the animals. The camps were well thought out. Safety and camping luxury along with outstanding food and friendship building downtimes. A well oiled itinerary everyday with flexibility to see spontaneous animal activities and photo opportunities. From picnics in beautiful locations, to breathtaking sights and sounds, up close and personal animal activities and unimaginable beauty this tour had it all. This trip renewed our hearts and souls and made us fall in love with Africia, its communities, animals and welcoming people. The bonds we made, the guides and staff that fell like family, it had it all. Africia and Thomson we will be back!

Best safari experience ever
We had an unforgettable 3-day safari with Surprise Adventure, and everything was beyond our expectations! From the start, Amina made the booking process seamless—she was patient, professional, and attentive to every detail, making sure we had the perfect itinerary.
Our driver and guide, Joseph, was simply outstanding. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, warm personality, and incredible spotting skills made the experience so much richer. He always made sure we were comfortable, safe, and in the best positions to enjoy the sights.
The entire safari was well-organized, from the lodges to the game drives, and it was clear that the team truly cares about creating memorable experiences.
I would highly recommend Surprise Adventure, especially with Joseph as your guide and Amina as your booking agent. They made this trip one we’ll cherish for a lifetime!
