Best guiding company for Kilimanjaro!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THE BEST TEAM ON KILIMANJARO – BOOK WITH ALMIGHTY KILIMANJARO!
Climbing Kilimanjaro has been a lifelong dream of mine, and the only reason I made it to the summit was because of the phenomenal Almighty Kilimanjaro team. From start to finish, their care, patience, and support were beyond anything I could have imagined.
Let’s talk about the food first – because WOW. You don’t expect much at altitude, but Mathew the cook is truly a magician. Every meal was nourishing, delicious, and kept us fueled for the climb. Honestly, the food exceeded all expectations and became one of the highlights of the trip.
Now, the guides… Inocent Arico (Chief Guide) and Baraka (Guide) are absolute legends. Calm, knowledgeable, patient, and endlessly encouraging. If you are climbing Kili, trust me – you want these two leading you. They know the mountain inside out and made us feel safe and supported every single step of the way.
A very special mention must go to Baraka the waiter porter. What a star! Always smiling, attentive, and lifting everyone’s energy when things got tough. His warmth and positivity made the long days so much brighter, and his service was absolutely exceptional.
And then there’s Ali, our summit porter. I don’t have enough words to thank him. When altitude sickness hit me hard on summit night, it was Ali’s kindness, encouragement, and steady support that got me to the top. He and Innocent stayed by my side, reassured me when I felt like giving up, and gave me the confidence to keep moving. Without him, and the help of Innocent - I would not have reached Uhuru Peak. Ali is destined to be an incredible guide one day – he already has the heart and leadership for it.
To the rest of the incredible team – Rama, Novatus, Vicent, Peter, Raiton, Baltazar – your hard work behind the scenes, your smiles, and your encouragement made this expedition unforgettable. Every single one of you played a role in helping us succeed, and I will never forget the part you played in this journey.
If you are considering climbing Kilimanjaro, stop searching. Book with Almighty Kilimanjaro. They are professional, caring, unbelievably well-organized, and they feel like family by the end. I will forever be grateful to this dream team for making my summit possible.
🌍❤️ ASANTE SANA ALMIGHTY KILIMANJARO TEAM – you gave me memories for a lifetime.

A solid 7 day safari!
My wife and I did a 7 day private budget safari with Axis and had a wonderful time. The company was amenable to our customization requests and we felt their organization of our trip helped for a smooth operation. Thank you to Philip for the timely itinerary updates to help us decide on our tour quickly. When we first visited the office, we also felt confident in the supervision by Cynthia to ensure our trip would go smoothly. The roster of preferred accommodations were great, especially the camps. The food quality and personal touch made them great and we actually preferred them to the hotels.
Our guide, Yasin, was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He seemed well-known and liked among the other tour guides from different companies, which allowed him to receive information on animal sightings so we could efficiently see the wildlife. His phone takes great pictures too and he shared them with us to supplement our own and provided informational commentary with the videos he took. His vehicle was comfortable, well-maintained, had universal charging outlets, and had a fridge in the back to keep drinks cold.
I would consider myself an overthinker so choosing Axis was not an easy decision, but I’m glad I did and would recommend them to my friends and colleagues who are now interested because of the great pictures we took. We believe the private safari is definitely worth it because of the space in the vehicle and the ability to make decisions based on our individual desires. Definitely research your options, communicate what you like, and ask questions about how to customize a trip beforehand.

Awesome 😎 we will come back again.
This is my real experience : Blood Moon Rescue | A Life-and-Death Moment in Masai Mara, Kenya 🌌
🌄 Prologue: The Signal Breaks Through · A Leopard in the Valley
The sun sank slowly, casting a golden glow over the wilderness.
An urgent radio signal pierced the twilight: "Leopard spotted in Valley No. 2! Multiple vehicles stuck in the swamp—even the rescue truck is trapped! Requesting backup!"
James—a 27-year-old local guide with hawk-like eyes and an innate knowledge of the terrain—waved urgently: "Let's move, now!"
---
🚙 Chapter 1: Trapped in Despair · Human vs. Beast
Wheels crunched over dry grass as we entered the valley to a startling scene:
Four safari vehicles were sunk deep in the mud, along with the only rescue truck.
Above, on a massive tree branch, a leopard 🐆 crouched, eyes sharp as blades, its low growl cutting through the air.
Tourists held their breath inside the vehicles; guides stood frozen.
The wind grew cold—sunset was counting down.
---
💡 Chapter 2: A Guiding Plan · Strategy in the Mud
James jumped out, his gaze firm, commands clear in precise English:
"Attach the tow ropes in three segments! Pull at a 45-degree angle—avoid sinking further!"
He waded into the mud, testing the swamp’s consistency by hand, rallying the team: "Today we save them—tomorrow, they may save us. Let’s go!"
---
⚡ Chapter 3: A Rope Snaps · Hope Relit
Engines roared, tow ropes taut as drawn bows—
Then—Snap!
The steel cable shattered, mud flying everywhere.
Before panic could set in, James was already shouting the next plan: "Double the vehicles! Slow and steady pull! Everyone stay focused!"
---
📸 Chapter 4: Blood-Red Romance · A Moment Frozen in Time
At the peak of tension, someone raised a camera.
Click—
The lens captured it all: the blazing sunset, the leopard’s piercing silhouette, and the rescuers outlined against the blood-red moon.
Amid the crisis, beauty and danger intertwined into a poetic paradox of the wild.
---
🌕 Chapter 5: Victory Under the Blood Moon · Cheers in the Night
As the last vehicle was dragged from the mud,
The eastern horizon unveiled a rising blood moon, its crimson light bathing the African savanna.
Cheers, applause, and embraces erupted! James leaned against the truck, covered in mud but glowing with pride.
"Operation Blood Moon—accomplished!"
---
🎬 Epilogue: The Law of the Wild
On the drive back, James said softly:
"Out here, rescue isn’t a choice—it’s a covenant of survival."
Under the night sky, the blood moon stood witness:
Humanity and wilderness, despair and hope—finally reconciled in one internal moment.

An Unforgettable Private Safari in Kenya – August/September 2025
I just returned from a private safari organized by JourneyMark Tours from August 30th to September 6th, 2025, and I must say I’m very satisfied with the overall experience.
A well-designed and diverse itinerary:
• Amboseli (2 days): A perfect place to start, with a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is beautiful and full of wildlife: zebras, elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, antelopes, ostriches… I was lucky enough to spot a hyena and a lioness on the first day.
• Lake Naivasha (1 day): A chance to walk among animals like zebras, giraffes, and antelopes – a more “touristy” experience that allows for close encounters. Not my favorite stop, but I’m sure others will enjoy it.
• Lake Nakuru (1 day): A smaller park, but very rich in wildlife: buffaloes, flamingos, pelicans, monkeys, and a beautiful leopard resting in a tree. I also saw two white rhinos, although they were quite far away.
• Masai Mara (3 days): The grand finale – and what a place! Perfect for big cats: lions, lionesses, cheetahs (we even witnessed a cheetah chasing a gazelle), and even a black rhino, which is extremely rare. A dream location for wildlife lovers.
A private safari with an outstanding guide:
This was a private safari, just me and my driver-guide Collins, in a minibus. That gave me a lot of flexibility and comfort for wildlife viewing and photography. Collins was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about each park, and always knew where to go and how to position the vehicle for the best view. In Masai Mara, he was joined by a local Maasai guide, which added great value to the experience.
Traveling between the parks by road gave me the chance to see the diversity of Kenya’s landscapes. However, I wouldn't recommend this option to people who are nervous in vehicles – the driving style is very assertive, and overtaking large trucks on two-lane roads can be quite intense!
Lodges & Accommodation:
• Penety Amboseli Resort: My favorite lodge of the trip – beautiful setting, swimming pool, and bungalows with a direct view of Kilimanjaro.
• Avian Court Hotel: Comfortable hotel with very friendly staff.
• Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort (Nakuru): Not the best experience – poor organization, unpleasant smells, and long waiting times at the restaurant.
• Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort (Masai Mara): Good location and a large, comfortable bed, but the pool was dirty and overall amenities were basic.
Organization & Pricing:
I booked through JourneyMark Tours, and communication was smooth via WhatsApp. The payment system could be improved (no confirmation message after payment, which made me a bit anxious at first), but Tess, my contact person, was very responsive and supportive before and throughout the safari. She personally came to the hotel for the pick-up, brought a few useful welcome gifts, and even returned at the end for a personal debrief, which I really appreciated.
Price-wise, the final cost was higher than what was initially listed on SafariBookings, which surprised me at first. However, since it was a private safari, I found the price to be fair and reasonable, considering the quality of service and personalization.

In summary:
An amazing trip, perfectly organized, with unforgettable wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and a great private guide. I highly recommend JourneyMark Tours for a private safari in Kenya – especially if you want to explore the country at your own pace and with maximum comfort.

Private Couple's Safari - A Dream Come True
We started planning this vacation in January, and thanks to friends, I was able to contact Best Memory Safaris, where Isaac was available to provide all the requested quotes and answer all our questions.
Given their professionalism and kindness, we decided to book a 3-day (2-night) beach trip in Diani, in a beautiful all-inclusive international resort, in addition to the 6-day (5-night safari).
We landed in Mombasa at 5:30 in the morning (one of the few that leaves immediately), and upon our arrival, the legendary Mathias was there, a guide who spoke fluent Italian and who had been working in this field since 1988.
We set off on a private couple's tour in a Land Cruiser. From the airport, we visited Tsavo West, Amboseli, Ziwani Sanctuary, and Tsavo East National Parks.
Our safari was anything but monotonous because Isaac organized early morning tours, one on foot with a ranger, one at night by car, a tour of the Maasai village, and a ranger-led tour of the pools of the rare blue fish.
Our guide, Mathias, knowing all the parks very well, allowed us to see and photograph numerous animals and stunning landscapes. He always knew how to pick the right moments to approach the animals with discretion and respect, allowing us to gain the best perspective.
The quality was also evident in the choice of lodges:
- Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge (inside Tsavo West), indescribable;
- Amboseli Sentrim Camp (outside Amboseli), wonderful tents in a very well-maintained setting;
- Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp (Ziwani Sanctuary), a corner of paradise with hippos and crocodiles;
- Ashnil Aruba Lodge (Tsavo East), in the land of the red elephants.
We were happy and had unforgettable moments, and for this reason we recommend Best Memory Safaris to everyone!
