Very accommodating
These guys are very helpful. My holiday was of to a bad start but they helped me to make it to our lodge in order to have a great safari. The communication was prompt and clear.
The tour/safari, even though a bit early in the season, was superb with a guide who was both friendly and knowledgeable.

A dream come true in the Earth's Eden
I had the most life-changing time in the Masai Mara and my tour guide could not have done more to ensure that my visit beyond exceeded expectations. I highly recommend visiting during the high season, as you will experience the earth as it once was 100,000 years ago at the dawning of humanity.

A spectacular, well-organized, once-in-a-life-time trip that exceeded all our expectations.
From touch down in Cape Town (where we were greeted by Garth, our excellent Cape Guide) to our delivery to the Kasane airport in Chobe, this was a truly effortless trip. Garth was a font of information about the country and the region, and was delightful company. He also adjusted as the weather turned and as he learned more about what we wanted to see. Plus he recommended a great book which I took with me for the rest of the holiday. The safari experience at Mma Danare was truly breath-taking. The sheer amount of wildlife we encountered was amazing (our driver, Chris, was unstoppable). We were lucky enough to be able to follow two male lions (and, separately) a larger pride of lions. Watching two young male cheetahs hunt was another highlight. So too were the giraffes and elephants and impala and and and. The lodge itself was exquisite. Our second lodge near Joa was also picturesque. A slightly different experience (being on wetlands) we were able to take makuro rides (including a very... Read more special sunset one) and see the delta from a new perspective. While the wildlife sightings were limited (this would be the only quibble about the whole trip. Because of the lack of rain, while the lodge was pretty and the water was interesting, there wasn't a great chance to see many animals) it was an interesting, unique perspective. Chobe was sensational. The wildlife experience there (more lions, so many elephants, elephants swimming across river at sunset!) was superb. And while the room and food at the Garden Lodge were terrific, here are the only other quibbles I had about our trip. There was very loud music nearby both evenings we were there that continued into the early hours of the morning (3:00 am). There was nothing the lodge could do about it... but... And we often felt like we were being rushed through our dinners. The staff was TOO attentive -- hovering over our shoulders to clear the plates and bring the next ones out. But as I say -- small tiny little "problems" in what was a spectacular two weeks. Thank you so much for organizing such an amazing adventure.

Authentic local experience in Arusha, Tanzania.
I did a cultural tour in Sanawari Village, close to Arusha town and everything ran smoothly - it was a last minute booking that I made just to keep my afternoon busy.
My guide during the trip was Hoi Hoi, a masai from the village, and he was amazing - very polite and knowledgeable and from the look of things quite a popular guy in the area. I visited a local home, a primary school and a coffee plantation. The trip gave me a brief but intriguing insight into the daily lives of the local community. I also got to visit a local restaurant with Albert, where I met many of his friends, had some great conversations and the food was really fabulous.
All I can say is thank you Albert, and for all those who want an authentic experience in Tanzania, check out Albert and his team at Zilla Expeditions.

The Best journey in Rwanda
Very good journey, the 4WD is very comfortable.
The driver is also very hard to explain to me, whether it is on the road or animals.
It is very recommended.

Great day trip from Arusha with amazing service
My boyfriend and I went on their one day trip into the tarangire national park.
We had a great time and were able to get amazing pictures. The highlights were definitely the elephants! We saw probably 30 throughout the day, including babies. We also saw lions, giraffes, wildebeest, water buffalo and impala on our one day outing.
From booking til the end we had great service. The company communicated with us regularly regarding our upcoming trip, asked for our meal/drink preferences and truly did a great job with customer service.
Our guide was incredibly friendly, on time and very knowledgeable about the area. He taught us about the Masai people and the animals as we went about our trip.
Lastly, our boxed lunch was great. Especially these little meat pie/empanada things.
I would highly recommend this tour company and will definitely use them on my next trip to Tanzania.

FIRST CLASS SAFARI EXPERIENCE
As we were searching for the right operator, we had few conversations with different companies. Out of all, Scorpion Tours was the best. Emmanuel has been arranging and communicating with us and accommodate all our needs. We couldn't thank him enough for his patience. The trip from the start to the end was amazing, jaw dropping experience. We were lucky to be accompanied by the kindest and most patient guide, John. Our accommodation was superb and very comfortable. It's a shame that we couldn't stay longer. The trip was so meaningful to us. We managed to see all the big 5 and so much more. John tried so hard and went extra mile to make sure all our dreams come true. We hope to come back again and meet everyone. I miss Serengeti already and I miss the calmness and peaceful of the place. God bless all of you at Scorpion Tours!

First class tour company that handles everything for you !
Robyn-Lea was wonderful and pleasant to communicate with in handling every aspect of our safari trip to South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. As first time South African visitors, she was able to get a feel for what our dreams were and set everything up to make our dreams come true. The whole trip was made easy by her organizing escorts at every stop of our trip. She even arranged luggage transfers when we had to par down our weight due to traveling in smaller airplanes.
We loved our trip! We will definitely use her and Giltedge to set it up our next trip!
