A wonderful experience!
5/5

There are decisions you can never regret making, one of them is choosing Trevaron Tours, and the other is going on a safari. We looked into a number of tour companies when we first started organizing our safari, but Trevaron Tours stood out for their accommodating, imaginative, and flexible approach. They gave us alternatives we hadn't thought of and let us know when some of our suggestions seemed to not be appropriate. We were able to book a safari at a competitive price.
In addition, Trevaron Tours offered a variety of preparatory materials that made choosing a hotel, securing a visa for Kenya, and taking safety precautions quite simple. Throughout the entire planning process not just before we made the reservation but also right up until the last day of our safari, Hannah, who served as their agent, was extraordinarily responsive to our emails and SMS.
We weren't sure Trevaron Tours would be the best option for us because we were European tourists. But it turned out that our worries were unnecessary. Trevaron Tours' flawless English and ability to suit our needs was far beyond our expectations. We were pleasantly delighted by their level of service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Looking back, we wholeheartedly endorse Trevaron Tours to anyone considering an African safari vacation.
Peter, our safari guide, was the very best. In retrospect, we understood that even with meticulous planning, the caliber of our guide was essential to the success of our safari. With Peter, we struck gold. He was amiable, kind, and a safe driver, qualities that were very helpful in Kenya's busy traffic. When it came to modifying plans because of inclement weather, wildlife, or other delays, Peter had good judgment. His extensive knowledge of everything, including Kenyan politics, geological characteristics, history, culture, customs of many tribes, backroads, and, of course, animals, was his greatest asset. When we encountered animals, he was able to impart his astounding knowledge of them with us in digestible chunks. Every time we saw the creatures in their natural habitat, he was able to impart bits of his genuinely astounding knowledge of the species with us. Due to this, our safari trip was definitely amazing. Overall, Peter was the one who contributed to the wonderful and unforgettable nature of our safari adventure.

Perfect, highly recommended and I’m definitely coming back
5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

6 stars.

Lucy went above and beyond to cater for our needs.

She’s genuinely a lovely person and I’ll definitely be recommending her company to everyone.

From the time I landed in Kenya to the time I reached my home in the U.K., she had been in contact with me via WhatsApp throughout.

She made sure everything went smoothly for us in a country where we were strangers too.

Once again, I had the time of my life on my safari trip.

A big thank you to Lucy and her team, I wish you all the success now and in the future

Amazing guides, amazing service, amazing comfort, amazing food!
5/5

Do you want a top-notch safari with experienced, respected guides who love animals as much as you do? Do you want to be close to the environment? So you want service every day that feels like lodges with the mobility and flexibility of a tented safari? Look no further. Early Kingfisher Safaris is everything you’re looking for and more!

I traveled on a 12-day tour spanning Chobe National Park and surrounding local game reserves, including the Chobe River, Savuti, the Moremi, and the Mbabe Depression with 8 total strangers and had an amazing safari experience. Owner, founder, and lead guide Sam has deep, passionate knowledge about the area and is highly respected by other guides (stopping along the way, Sam would share their information with other groups freely and happily). Co-guiding this trip was Paul, Sam’s brother-in-law, who is an incredibly guide in his own right. The combination of their knowledge, experience, and instinct led us to be spoiled by experiences observing animals up close, but in a way that we simply became part of the environment. The two of them clearly love guiding and introducing us to the animals they’ve come to know so well.

Campside, tents are large and well-appointed. Real beds with firm, comfortable mattresses were dressed each days with fresh linen, made up after we left on the morning game drive and turned down before we returned from the afternoon. Rugs in the front half of each tent for your comfort, but not in the back half - that’s where the entrance to your bathroom is, so it makes sense if you’re drying off on that side. Each tent has its own, private outdoor bathroom and shower, and a sheltered veranda for afternoon relaxation. Hot water was there when we woke up for a quick wash and again at lunch, and then hot showers were ready at night (and while I didn’t take advantage of it, I heard from other guests that hot water was made available at other times when they asked). Members of the EKS team were friendly and made you feel at home - but also faded into the background while they did what needed to be done. You just didn’t notice all of the little things that go into what made the experience so enjoyable.

Food? Second-to-none, and made all the more impressive by being cooked over open flame. PK, EKS’s new chef is amazing. Soups, breads, meat dishes, vegetables, desserts - all made with our needs and tastes in mind, but also local flavor, styles, and dishes traditionally made (this was reserved for the last night in our case). The dinner announcement was something we all looked forward to every night. Breakfast and lunch and tea time were equally delicious.

Game drives started early - that’s when the animals start being active, so it makes sense to go out with them. Mid-morning tea was a highlight at “Sam’s Cafe” (if you know, you know). And then back to camp for lunch and siesta. Around 4pm, just after afternoon tea, we would head out for an afternoon/evening game drive and also to get great views of the sunset. For animal lovers, this means the best opportunities to see animals active. For photographers, these times ensured the best light.

Vehicles were comfortable and spacious, and you could talk to Sam and Paul throughout each game drive. We had near 360-degree views wherever we went. As for what we encountered, we saw four of the Big 5 (sadly, no wild rhinos in the area), cheetah, serval cats, antelope of all shapes and sizes (including elusive reedbucks and steenboks), hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, three species of mongoose, and elephants by the score. This doesn’t even touch on birds.

I couldn’t have asked for a better first safari experience and cannot wait to go back! Early Kingfisher Safaris is who I will travel with again when I go back to Botswana!

A fantastic experience
5/5

Delfin Tours arranged a trip for us to the Coast, which I must say was one of a kind. We had to be picked up and left off in Kilifi, and our driver John was excellent—always on time and very accommodating. Knowing that all of the expenses had been covered made it possible for us to actually explore and just take in the experience. The Hell's Kitchen was undoubtedly the best part. Gede's Ruins are breathtaking, and Watamu and Gede are both highly intriguing locations.
The Medina Hotel was excellent, with helpful personnel and delicious meals. The entire second day was spent at Mida Creek and Watamu Reef. Mangrove trees and crystal clean waterways are undoubtedly enjoyable. If you have your own snorkel gear, I advise bringing it, and the boat was also very accommodating.
In general, it was an incredible two days.

Incredible, Must-Do Experience with an Excellent Company!
5/5

Africa Marvel Tours was a pleasure to book and experience. Their communication was thorough and timely, and left my husband and I reassured about all the details of our first-time safari experience. Our 3-day trip started with an on-time and welcoming pickup from our B+B in Nairobi, a small gift form the company (Africa water bottles!) and started with an interesting drive through the countryside. Our driver Joe was a safe and skilled driver and talked to/taught us about parts of Kenya we were seeing as we crossed the country to the park. We were glad we chose this option rather than flying from Nairobi. The camp booked for us (Enkorak Mara Camp) was wonderful - well-kept, comfortable, and made complete with the sweetest staff and excellent food. Both our afternoon/evening game drive and long game drive the next day were absolutely breathtaking, and again our driver/safari guide Joe proved to be a trusted expert at securing the best experience and up-close animal views along the way (highlight was definitely his instincts in getting us the closest of all the safari vehicles to a leopard, which is so rare!) Joe was also extremely knowledgeable about all parts of Kenya and gave us safety tips and advice about how to maximize our time. Based on his advice, we were able to change our plans on our last day as he flexibly drove us to a new drop-off location outside Nairobi and secure tickets for a walking safari tour (Crescent Island!) thanks to his connections. Overall this safari and company were the highlight of our Kenya trip and helped us have a safe, beautiful, and memorable time at Masai Mara and beyond - we 100% recommend them!

Very professional tour operator for an unforgettable experience.
5/5

Exceptional stay with a team that is as professional as it is endearing. We were able to observe the most beautiful corners of Tanzanian parks, and the big five in full thanks to the great experience of our friendly guide Andrew, who always has a crisp story to tell you. Andrew knows the parks like the back of his hand, always in the right place at the right time.
The talented Aïsha was able to capture these unforgettable moments with her high quality reflex and gopro, not to mention the delicious and varied dishes of our cook Dulah. There was something for everyone ! Finally, the vehicle is very comfortable, secure, sunroof and binoculars provided so you don't miss a moment, fridge to cool off with water, coke, wine and beer. You can even recharge all your batteries.
The whole team is attentive to make your stay the best possible. A real family!
One of the best trips of my life. I sincerely recommend 300%!

Incredible aventure with the best crew!
5/5

It has been the most magical of experiences! We visited the Serengeti and Ngorongoro during four days. Giovanni was an amazing guide, giving us a lot of information about the animals, the areas and answering any of our questions. We also had the extreme pleasure to eat Joakim’s freshly prepared and delicious food during our safari. Both have made our time in Tanzania unforgettable. Thank you!

Excellent communication , super knowledgeable guides and very friendly
5/5

We started planning our Kenya Safari trip few months back and we came across Bush Top Safaris through the Internet,I got in touch with Dennis and he was great!
I got a Prompt & Timely Response from him every time.He was of great help throughout the planning of the trip.

We were 3 families,a group 11 including kids.
From the time we landed at the airport,we were very well taken care of.
Dennis introduced us to our guides,James & Frank.
They were amazing through out the whole trip, they have great knowledge about the wildlife, both very good drivers, good Communication, very cordial and flexible and Most importantly great at spotting the animals.

We stayed at Amboseli & Tsavo
The stay and food at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge was very good.
Ashnil Aruba Lodge in Tsavo was also good, but the food could have been a little better
The highlight of the whole trip was of course all the wildlife we spotted,it was so exciting for us to see all those animals,in such big numbers in their natural habitat.
James and Frank went the extra mile to spot the animals.
We spotted alot more than we had expected.
To see the Pride of Lions at such close proximity.
Herds of Elephants, Giraffe,Zebra,Impala,Gazelle, Flamingos,Hyena etc etc etc and the Biggest highlight was to spot the Leopard with a cub.
On the whole we had a wonderful experience with Bush Top Safaris.
We will surely recommend them to Everyone who plan to visit Kenya.
Thankyou again

Kruger safari tour
4/5

Our Safari tour with Kalanga was overall an excellent experience. Like any 4-5 day tour some aspects didn’t go quite as planned but the staff at Kalanga were very quick to respond. They tailored the tour slightly to suit our needs and accommodated us when we made special requests. The tour guide spoke with excellent English and was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.
