Fantastic
We enjoyed a one week safari in Kenya arranged by Amazing Memories Safaris. We thoroughly recommend this company and our guide, David. We visited 4 parks, saw many animals, felt safe and enjoyed the lodges and meals. Amazing Memories were very helpful in planning our trip and responding quickly to our questions. We are very grateful to David for his experience and keen eyes.

Wonderful birding trip guided by Josephe from Nature's Wonderland Safari
I went Kenya for a birding trip last week,21-day trip. We are a group in 7-person. Not only more than 490 bird species, but also more than 40 species of mammals, amphebious and reptiles did I watched. Good views of Kenya mountains and lakes, plateau and forests. Especialy Cheetah's hunting,Lion's family style,Leopard family gave me deep impressions. I do remember the Rondo Retreat in Kakamega, it's a very nice place for birding and staying, the fish pond is a very lovely place for thinking and dazing.I do remember the kindly waiter in the restaurant of Rondo Retreat, his service is very special and considerate.
Thanks our guides and drivers in Kenya, Anthony and David are good drivers, they gave us safe and exciting safari experience. Especialy thanks should give to Joseph, he was our birding guide, gave us professional guide and thoughtful care in the trip. I learned much more knowlege about birding identify methods from Joseph.Joseph is very familiar with the birds situation in Kenya, especially familiar with the birds sounds.

Super to deal with, always no problem to change things.
The guesthouse in Windhoek Villa Vista was great, we stayed there coming and going.
Private light aircraft flight up to Etosha, great. We were not impressed with Etosha, the accommodation and the food. We had upgraded quite expensively to have a waterhole lodges, but despite this expense, not all waterhole lodges were adjacent to the waterhole, even those that were adjacent there was no vantage point to see the animals if the throng of others in the camp were there with their cameras - very disappointing. We had been placed on the back row and after vocalising our disappointment, we were transferred on the second day to a cabin closer to the actual waterhole. Me-Gusto our super guide did everything he could to sort it for us. The lodges/cabins were very small and if you are a vegetarian, as we were (and they knew in advance of our dietary requirements), having a diet of soggy Butternut squash, shrivelled carrots and Greek salad for lunch and dinner were no fun for 3 days.. As it was a national reserve there was no off-roading and we had to stick to the roads. I would not ever re-visit this reserve, nor would I recommend it.
The next resort we went to was Mt Etjo, the food was divine as was the setting, the game drive was great, but as we belatedly learnt about the confinement of the lions, it didn't reach our ultimate. Our heartfelt disappointment that caused us to curtail our four night stay here to 2 nights was the fact that the lions were confined in a separate reserve adjacent and were not free to hunt for themselves and were fed by the reserve. This curtailment meant we squeezed our visit to Waterberg into our guide's trip up the mountain climb, but we didn't know it was only a mountain climb and not a visit to see the animals on top of the plateau, we were disappointed over this as we didn't come to Namibia to climb mountains, we would have been happy to have been advised this and we would have opted for an afternoon at the camp enjoying the sun and a game drive.
As a result we moved to Erindi nearby. This was a larger camp and had fantastic rooms/cabins overlooking the bush and a super pool. The food was good and the game drives were great - enhanced by the sun uppers and sun downers.

Memorable Multi-generational Safari
We were delighted to find Earthlife Expeditions, a small locally-operated safari company with efficient, informative staff and reasonable costs. Our online contact, Caudence, capably planned our itinerary, made changes and answered our many questions quickly and without complaint. Our excellent driver guides, Joseph and Mark, made a great team, complementing each other in personality and style. Both were amazingly knowledgeable about African flora and fauna and extremely able drivers, despite the dusty, rutted terrain. With their eagle eyes and passion for their work, we couldn't have asked for better guides!
All of the native-run lodges and tented camps were clean and comfortable, with lots of good, simple food served either buffet or family-style. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. A "family room" large enough for 4 was especially appreciated by our daughter and her children. Much to our surprise, wi-fi was available at the camps, but thankfully no TV. Although some camps had swimming pools, by the time we returned from our game drives, the evening air was too cool for a dip.
We were looking for a comfortable, laid-back wildlife experience to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Earthlife Expeditions far exceeded our expectations, with a wonderful adventure we will all remember and cherish.

Trip of a lifetime
It was an experience I will never forget. Humala Lodge was a big highlight. It was so serene, so spiritual, so intimate, and the safaris were amazing. Cape Town was a blast. Joseph, our driver in Johannesburg went way above and beyond the call of duty. Tony in Cape Town was great. They couldn’t do enough for us. The whole tour was fabulous. The animals were center stage. Call Lucia Barnard at 941-212-0924 and tell her Paulette sent you. You won’t be sorry

Great Service From Vervet Tours
We had the most amazing time on our 5 day Northern Tanzania safari with Vervet tours. Our friends introduced us to this lovely local operator and we are happy that they did. Everything went on perfectly and done to ensure that we enjoyed our stay in Tanzania.
Basili was a delight to be around. From the moment he picked us at the airport to the last minute when he dropped us back he ensured we were taken care of.
We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and Basili is an excellent guide. The sheer number of animals that we saw is insane. Elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions, 3 leopards, wilddogs, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, flamingos, crocodile, hippos, pelican, wild geese.........
The lodges were very comfortable and luxurious serving us like royalty.
The vehicle was in great condition, quite new and drove very well in the rough terrain of the parks
We got first class service and we are happy to endorse this company to anyone going on safari to Tanzania.

Twaha and his team are top notch. Professional, friendly, organized and timely. We have used them multiple times for our mission trips and they are fantastic whether we've brought a small group, or a group of 30. Let them help you plan your next safari adventure, you won't regret it.
