Andrew Malalika: The Amazing Safari and Mountain-Trekking Tour Operator
I have known Andrew Malalika of Jackpot Safaris, for some eight years or so. I first became acquainted with this friendly, amicable man, not far from our hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. He was already running his business and was extremely kind and courteous to my friend Aklilu and myself. What impressed me most, was the fact that although we did not initially want business, he was still happy to chat ... to make us feel welcome and was extremely accommodating to us and our World Harmony Run.
I should point out that Andrew is fluent in English and this helped a lot, as he was able to find some boys for us later on, to go on a run up Kilimanjaro, to a total of 4,500 metres. The boys he found was extremely nice and we had a great time on the mountain, singing and chanting Peace songs together.
Andrew was the first person I looked for on my return in 2013. He introduced me and friends to his family, helped in getting me from the airport, showed me around many interesting places, all at his expense and gave me some great advise on living and travelling around Arusha. I did give him some business, yes, but he went the extra mile, as we became friends and some nights ate in really 'cool' restaurants in and around the City Centre.
Andrew shows a keen desire to learn more from the foreigner ... to listen, a very noble trait and has many contacts in key places, including both dignitaries, esteemed partners, porters and guides. He is also an expert in invaluable knowledge of the mountains. He has supreme charismatic skills and charm in looking after his clients and visitors alike.
I hope to use him again on my return this october for both Safari and Kilimanjaro climbs and I would not hesitate in recommending his approach to detail and safety of the foreigner, to all seeking to tour Arusha and beyond. The City and surroundings are blessed from Heaven and there's a great deal to see and enjoy.- Manatita Hutchinson, London. UK
Note: My last visit was 2013. Our website, peacerun.org, is full of photos of the scenery, Arusha, schools and MT. Kilimanjaro from about the 6th Nov, onwards, 2013. I cannot seem to load photos here.

Very helpful with suggestions and options provided to meet requirements.
Communications were appropriate and provided excellent detail, background and support. With both electronic and hard copy documentation and additional electronic support through dedicated app.
The staff member was helpful being available for voice call through wattsapp prior to our journey to assist with international communications and time zone differences.
The trip meet and exceeded all expectations.

Good value for money. Fantastic experience
We had enquired about a day trip from Diani beach to tsavo east via email. the correspondence and organisation through email was fuss free, easy and polite along with very good pricing.
We booked this trip in the last week of our holiday after spending 2 weeks on the beach in Diani. This was by far our best experience. It was a big trip (14hours) in the car but was worth every minute. Dominic our driver was courteous, helpful and very professional. We were driven to a souvenir shop en route, had buffet lunch at a wonderful lodge (wished we stayed there for the night) and not once did we feel taken advantage of or unsafe.
I would definitely like to recommend this company to anyone who is looking to go on safari.

Great experience! We saw the Big Five!
The communications were very well organised, the camp where we slept was also very nice. Our tent had a private toilet and a bed. The safari tour was also great, we saw many animals and cheetas hunt. It was very exciting!! I recommend it.

Absolutely amazing holiday with the best guide in Kenya! Couldn’t ask for more.
Communication prior was great. We had a severe food allergy in our group and at every lodge it was addressed appropriately and kindly. Our tour guide Musa was the absolute best. 16 years of experience and very clearly a well-known leader among the other guides. He struck the perfect balance between giving us the best possible experience and respecting the animals and the earth. The lodges were all incredible and were an unbelievable value. The food at each lodge was also amazing. Some of the beds weren’t great but that’s expected when traveling. We thought an 8 day safari might be a little too much but by the end we were very sad we couldn’t do more. Again, can’t say enough good things about Musa, I’m not sure I can ever do a safari without him! He is an absolute gem and gave us the most unforgettable experience.
Only recommendation for improvement is to not do the Maasai village tour. It was very uncomfortable and we felt preyed upon. We were separated and they basically demanded quite a bit of money. Would much rather support through responsible travel and buying things as we go.
Will absolutely use Denhum Holidays in the future and highly recommend to family and friends.

Great experience and warm memories
The reason for contacting the Mwangaza Safari was its good cost-efficient offer stated on the site. I began preparing for my six-day journey about two weeks before it began and the thorough and quick answers to many questions that I asked before making the final decision finally convinced me of the wisdom of the choice. I preceded the safari with a day trip to Zanzibar, the organization of which was also undertaken by the company. Both parts of the trip left me with the best impressions: everything went according to a pre-agreed schedule, the guides both on Zanzibar and on safari provided a large amount of interesting information, quickly and clearly resolved all current issues. I thank Mwajabu, Michael, Abdul and other persons assisted me with this memorable trip and I strongly recommend Mwangaza Safari for those who wish to go on saturated and well-organized trip to Tanzania.

10-day Safari in Kenya and Tanzania
We (my husband and I) did a 10-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Like a Local Safaris. Maurice provided us with information before our trip and regularly checked whether we had questions or needed more information. When we arrived in Kenya he picked us up from the airport because it was too early for the driver. He told us about our itinerary again to make sure that we would be content with our safari. This was a very clear story. He recommended us a private safari for the first seven days and that was definitely the best decision we could have made! The next day our driver Boniface picked us up for a tour in Nairobi, which Maurice arranged for us to do before the start of our safari. Boniface was a great guide, very knowledgeable about Kenya and especially the animals in Kenya. We had a wonderful safari. Boniface listened very well to our wishes and he taught us so much about all types of animals (especially also about birds). We communicated with Maurice throughout our safari to update him on how we experienced our safari. The accommodation was as we expected: comfortable and clean. Some accommodations were a bit more luxurious than others, as near some parks only camping is affordable. We felt that Maurice made sure to prepare us for the more basic campsites, and there was a balanced alternation between more luxurious and basic accommodations. Food was generally good, although you should not expect incredible culinary experiences (you will mainly have buffets with rice, potatoes, meat, ugali, etc.) The game drives were absolutely amazing!! Boniface made sure we went to the parks on time to see many animals. In 10 days, we saw the big five, over 70 lions, and just generally many animals living in their natural habitats. A truly unforgettable experience, and with Like A Local Safaris you truly get great value for money.
