My wife and I could not have been more pleased with all aspects of this wonderful trip of a lifetime
5/5

I had never had an interest in going to South Africa until my wife and I met Lucia and Deon with Go Touchdown Travel & Tours at the Dallas Travel Show in 2018. They described to us a trip that sounded almost too good to be true. We talked 3 other couples into considering the same trip. They joined us on the Signature Tour and we just returned on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The trip was even better than we thought it would be. My wife and I travel quite extensively and we both agreed that this might be the best trip we have ever been on. There were too many highlights to mention in this short space. We expanded our Signature Tour to include Victoria Falls for 2 days. Humala River Lodge and Victoria Falls Resort were top quality and very unique. The wine paring lunch at Grand Provence was first class all the way and our favorite meal presentation. We went on at least 5 safaris, each with a very qualified, informed, and helpful guide. I took over 600 pictures and treasure each one We will talk about our wonderful experiences on this trip probably for the rest of our lives. Thanks for exposing us to a beautiful part of the world!

Review about Tarangire National Park by Sandra K
Overall rating
5/5

Tarangire was also quite amazing. The Baobab trees really are cool. We saw lots of giraffe and ostrich here. As well as a momma cheetah and cubs. Lots of gazelle and impala, and many pumba (warthogs). Beautiful weather and beautiful scenery.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Sandra K

5/5

Accommodations at the tented camp were fun. The place is so vast, we often felt like we were the only people there, except for the time we were looking at a leopard. Seems like everyone in the whole park was at that place at that time. But seeing a leopard is amazing!
we were also able to see lion and cheetah and lots of herd animals... wildebeest, hartebeest, zebra, gazelle, impala, waterbuck, and eland.

5/5

Ngorongoro crater is a very interesting place. it is deceptively large! We saw wildabeest and zebra too many to count. We saw rhino, lion, elephant, water buffalo and hippo, in addition to the gazelle and flamingo and baboon. So many animals. Such a beautiful place! Weather was amazing. Cool, breezy and sunny. Perfect!

Lake Manyara was amazing. We saw 2 lions in the trees, had an up close view of elephants and enjoyed the baboons. Birds were also very plentiful and beautiful.

About: Tanzania
Fantastic Safari experience
Overall rating
5/5

Our safari was an incredible experience. I think we were very fortunate with the weather, as we traveled during the rainy season. We did not experience any issue with rain, in fact only had one shower of about 20 minutes during any of our game drives. Roads were a bit muddy, but really not bad.
We had the amazing opportunity to see all of the Big 5 - and many more! Our driver was amazing. He managed to get us the best views of the best animals! We got to see a mama cheetah and her cubs - 2 different sets of them in 2 different parks.
The accommodations were top notch! The beds at each location were great! More than I can say for many places I have stayed. Every thing was clean and the staff were most helpful and hospitable. .
Tanzania is a beautiful country.

About: Kenya
Most amazing experience of my life!!
Overall rating
5/5

My mom and I took a trip to Kenya in March and I do not have enough words to explain how amazing it was! We flew into Nairobi and then Classic Journeys picked us up for our safari right at our hotel. The entire experience was top notch, from our wonderful and informative guide Charles to our stay at Loyk Mara Camp to the delicious food and of course, seeing so many animals in their natural habitat.

Our accommodations were pristine and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It was definitely like "glamping," but I will never forget falling asleep to all the sounds of the Masai Mara (mostly hippos calling out in the night).

I am not kidding when I say I have thought about this trip every single day since we have been back, longing to hop on a plane and go back and take all of my family and friends with me. If you are thinking about going to Kenya and booking with Classic Journeys, DO IT!! You will not regret it one bit.

EXCEPTIONAL WONDERFUL EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE! CANT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!!
5/5

Weeks before we even left on our holiday, Caroline Mugo had been there every step of the way. Any information that we needed or unsure about, any questions or even just advice, Caroline emailed straight back to help in any way she could. We were so excited to begin our holiday. From the time we landed we were transferred to our accommodation even tho our flights had changed and it took more than 2 hours to get out of the airport due to security and customs delays, Hosea was still there waiting for us and take us to our accommodation for the night. Ken collected us early from there the next morning and I am finding it hard to express in words what an absolutely outstanding, exceptional experience the 3 days on Safari were for us. Ken could not have done any more for us to give us the best possible safari, and it was. Ken had a world of Knowledge about all forms of wildlife from the BIG FIVE, plants, flowers, birds, fish and he had a lovely sense of humor which was a pleasure. It was one of the best memories of our lives, we were so sad to leave and we cant wait to go again.
Even as we moved on to continue our holiday in Mombasa, Natural World Kenya Safaris were still there to assist us with obtaining train tickets, with our baggage, and transferring us between stations, hotels and airports. Harrison, Michael and James all lending a hand, sometimes on the spur of the moment, always so friendly and cheerful. The accommodations while on the actual Safari were phenomenal, we were given the most exciting welcomes, singing staff and huge friendly smiles. They could not have done any more to make us feel comfortable. Could not recommend this company, and their wonderful staff, highly enough.

Three Generations on a Tanzania Safari
5/5

Migration Ventures is a great company and they organize great safaris like the one they just did for my family. We a family of 3 generations my 2 children aged 12 and 16, my mum and dad in their 70s and my husband and I had wonderful experience in Tanzania thanks to this company.
Amos made all the arrangements and hotel bookings in advance so that we got rooms that were not very far from the reception/dining room because of my parents and adjoining rooms where possible for my us and my children. My family is also vegetarian and hotels had nice variety of vegetarian dishes.
We had an awesome guide Japeth who was always smiling and so nice in dealing with the children and my aging parents. He had time for everyone and answered all the questions posed in detail.
He even helped my dad climb onto the jeep, carrying his bag around..... what a nice man.
We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, and the parks were amazing and green during this time of year. We got to see many animals and it was a really nice time for my family to bond.
I recommend this company from the bottom of my heart!
