It gas been easy to organize an amazing and interesting safari
5/5

My expectations have been completely satisfied. We’ve seen so many beautiful things that we couldn’t imagine. We had a great time planning, we never got tired e we had enough time to do what we wanted. The driver was very nice and kind. The communication with the tour operator has always been fast, complete and clear.

This is a MUST read for anyone considering using Seven by Far Travel!
5/5

Like I mentioned in my previous July post, “A+ Service and We Haven’t Left Yet!” I seldom write reviews, but it would be wrong if I didn’t let those who read and believe in reviews know exactly what I thought about my experience with Seven By Far Travel.

Of course, everyone in our group had the time of their life just like almost everyone describes in the safari reviews you read and ALL of the accommodations we stayed at were of A+++ quality. However, the one thing that I believe differentiates this trip from any other was the service that Sylvester, the tour operator, provided us from the time of our initial contact with him and through our final send off. It was simply outstanding and was beyond our expectations. I honestly feel that a 5* rating doesn’t come close to describe the quality of service we received. I have NEVER experienced the type of service we were provided with on any 5* Diamond vacation we have taken in the past!

Simply put, we never had to think once about what we had to do or where we had to go. Everything from was planned out precisely Never once did we have to wait around and think about our itinerary that Sylvester customized for us to perfection based on where we wanted to go, what we wanted to see and what we wanted to do.

The moment we landed we were greeted and whisked away to our hotel where we met Sylvester for the first time. My first impression of him was exactly what I thought it would be. I found him to be as professional at first sight as he was in all the e-mail correspondences we had with each other prior to arriving. That day, he obviously arranged with the hotel to surprise us with an anniversary cake that was awaiting us in our room. He also provided us with baseball and safari hats that night which we thought was a very nice touch. From there on the service he provided only got better.

On the second day we flew to Amboseli where we were met by Steve our tour guide for our entire trip. I can not say enough good things about Steve. He has to be one of the most experienced guides out there. He was absolutely an incredible guide as well as human being. Not only was he so knowledgeable about all the animals and the parks we visited, but he stayed focused like he told us he would the entire time on making sure we had the best experience possible. There was not a thing Steve wouldn’t do for us. He made us feel safe at all times and was always looking out for our best interest. Here is just a few of the things he did for us that was totally unexpected:

1. My wife got bit by a tsetse fly and he arranged a Dr. to come see her.
2. He drove our luggage almost 12 hours back to Nairobi and then to the Masai Mara to meet up with us because we couldn’t take more than 17lbs of our belongings with us on the small plane we took to our next destination. Not once did we hear any complaint from him for doing so.
3. Finally, even though it wasn’t part of our itinerary, he took us on a private tour throughout the city of Nairobi on our last day. We were and remain grateful to both Sylvester and Steve to allow us to experience that in addition to our safari.
We liked Steve so much that we now consider him part of our family and we hope to be in touch with him for years to come! Thanks again Steve for giving us your all and making our trip a dream come true. If you are reading this, you still owe us a black rhino sighting, the only animal we failed to see.

Lastly, I would recommend to anyone reading this review to consider upgrading to the 4x4 SUV vehicle that Sylvester provided us with throughout our safari. It was by FAR the best vehicle on the road and was a major factor making our experience more enjoyable. You may ask how can that be possible? Well. Let me tell you that we were basically the only clients on the road that didn’t have to wear a mask to avoid inhaling or protect our eyes from daily dust created from all the road traffic. And we NEVER needed blankets to keep us warm on any of our game drives. All the other 4x4’s on the road seemed to have a plastic cover for the windows which had to be kept up at all times in order for their clients to see clearly. Thus, a majority of clients who were using other tour operator’s 4x4 SUV’s seemed to be cold, wrapped up in blankets and needed to wear masks/glasses to avoid the dust, but not us! Our vehicle was pristine and had clear glass windows that opened and closed easily when needed.

Oh, there is so much more to tell, but in the interest of keeping this short I’m going to stop here and say in closing…. Thank you, Sylvester, Steve and all the countless others for making this the trip of our lifetime! And for any of you considering using Seven By Far as your tour operator, I truly mean it when I say this……… YOU WON’T GO WRONG!

The tour through Swaziland to Durban was a bore. Otherwise, the package was well worth every cent spent. Memories of a lifetime!

Hakuna Matata! Savannah Explorers will take care of you during your Safari! <3
5/5

It was our first time in Tanzania and after an internet search we discovered Savannah Explorers and we chose them for our 3- days Safari in Tanzania.
We visited Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro with Riccardo, our guide.
Riccardo is a skilled guide, he speaks italians and english and he's great at finding animals: we saw alle the Big FIVE!
Lodges and tented camps were over our expetations, especially we would recommend the Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camps, a tented camp in the middle of Serengeti where you can admire a suggestive landscape.
It was a terrific experience and we really loved it!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL ROB YOU!
1/5

Do not use Bella Africa Safaris as Bella basically took our money and left us hanging high and dry.
We found this out the day after our arrival in Kigali when it turned out that nothing was paid for: no car, no permits, no activities. We did have phone calls with Bella herself who told us that she had financial problems, but all would be solved within 3 days and we just needed to advance $2000 for the first 3 days so that she could sort herself out. She would meet us in person back in Kigali, apologize and ensure us we will have a fantastic trip. Needless to say that never happened. We had no choice but to pay for everything all over again it was that or taking the next flight home. We were lucky to still be able to get gorilla permits and I wont mention the financial impact of having to pay for this trip of a life time twice.
We sent the deposit back in February to ensure all permits would be bought well in advance but nothing was done. So this was not a last minute problem with cash flow as one of the versions of the story we were provided with
I repeat DO NOT use this company they are a sham. Rwanda is amazing but our trip was spoilt by Bella’s dishonesty and greed. We went to Rwanda and have been back for 3 weeks and the last thing we heard she was going to ask for a loan and reimburse us every penny. This was 2 weeks ago. We will never see our money again don't waste yours as well, find another company.

Worry-free travel experience from beginning to end!
5/5

The trip was excellent! We didn't have to worry about a thing once we arrived in Nairobi. The only problems arose after eTrip Africa had delivered us to our final hotel, and the problems were with the hotel! eTrip Africa provided us with a congenial, knowledgeable, safe driver who was endlessly patient and accommodating. The member of our party who chose eTrip Africa as the tour organizer let eTrip Africa choose our accommodations, and although the second place was not exactly to our aesthetic taste, they were all actually very nice places to stay, very comfortable, with great staff, excellent food, and stunning settings.

As far as the "safari" parts of our trip, well we sure lucked out, seeing many animals that are exotic to North Americans. The two camps that eTrip Africa arranged for us had excellent sites for viewing African savanna wildlife, and we saw soooo many! However, one couldn't blame eTrip Africa if we hadn't have seen so many. We ran across another tour group that had gone four days in the Maasai Mara Reserve without seeing a wildebeest! Wildlife is wild, and they move around. A lot.

The person who arranged our trip had used eTrip Africa for a previous safari, and chose them again for this trip because it had worked out so well. He is planning to go to Kenya again, and is planning to use eTrip Africa again for the tour.

An awesome and authentic experience!
5/5

In honor of our 25th anniversary, my wife and I chose to celebrate with a yoga safari. Days were structured with morning and evening game drives, sandwiched around a daily yoga flow with some of the most tranquil backdrops you could imagine. Wipe away any misconceptions of roughing it in the bush. "Glamping" wouldn't do justice to the level of accommodations. Our "camp" was on par with elite hotels I have had the luxury of staying in. Shaun and his staff (Lindsay as our personal chef and Patrick as our safari tracker) were exceptional, always demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. Food was in abundance, with Lindsay serving multi-course locally inspired dishes. The detached bungalows were fully appointed.

As for the animals, the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) were checked off our list within the first 2 days!. We not only saw them (multiple times over!!), but witnessed them authentically. A lioness and her cubs feasting on their earlier kill. Hyenas taunting these lions in an effort to steal their meal. Watching the courtship between a male and female rhino. A herd of buffalo along with a rhino and elephant (3 of the big 5!!) at a watering hole just after sunset. A leopard protecting its meal, perched high on a rock cropping. Wildlife was in abundance beyond the big 5. Kudu, impala, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles...the list was endless. Shaun and Patrick's ability to rely upon their expert tracking skills and instincts led us not only to sighting of game, but to an authentic display of the wild.

It is this authenticity that was priceless. Sightings were never with the assistance of aerial spotters or from feedback of team members on the ground. Every encounter was driven by Shaun and Patrick's accumulated knowledge of tracking wild game in the bush. Finding a fresh track in the dirt or making note of vultures circling in the distance. For all of these reasons, and so many more, I would recommend Moriti Private Safaris!
