A Wonderful Safari
Our safari was a wonderful experience! We expected it would be an excellent holiday - but it was even better!
Over the course of one week we went to the Tanzania National Parks of Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Each one was unique, both the setting and wildlife. Our safari guide spoke very good English and had an incredible knowledge of the animals and surrounding areas. He was also extremely friendly and excellent company for our trip.
The organisation of the safari was very impressive. We didn't have to worry about anything. We were picked up from the airport on the first day, and dropped there on the last day. In between we were driven to the different parks and our lodge accommodation each evening. These lodges were in beautiful settings, luxurious, serving great food and complete with friendly staff (but then everyone we met in Tanzania was so friendly!).
I would thoroughly recommend a safari holiday, particularly one in Tanzania with Classic Journeys Africa!

Good value for money but definitely needs improvement!
Tour started as promised. Julius was excellent on transfers from/to airport to hotels. Our first 3 days were great with Stanley in Masai Mara ( very friendly / good driver) and Lake Nakuru. Our hotels Masai Mara Lodge (very good) and Lake Nakuru (average) were both in excellent locations. We had a very short game drive in Lake Nakuru so it was a bit of a waste of time. Last 3 days of the tour after Nakuru turned into a nightmare, spending long hours in the car with a non-company driver with zero knowledge in animals / safari, Amboseli tour was complete waste of time and very tiring... the connections/ timings / this trip could be improved. Suggest 3 days in Masai Mara and 2 day in Nakuru. Overall great experience seeing all of the animals (we have seen them all) but the entire experience could have been better...

Excellent!
We are a young couple who chose the 5 day safari program. From the first moment everything was perfect, the organization, the hotel before and after the safari and transport. The safari itself, amazing! Our guide Ezequiel made everything very easy, we saw many animals and the main ones even several times. He is also very friendly and made us feel at home at all times. I highly recommend it. We went camping, the facilities of the camps are basic but the material provided by the company is very good. Also the food was 10.
If we went back we would choose them without a doubt!

Exceptional service from start to end!
We contacted Tracks Berg travel a couple of months before our trip. Erick was very prompt in communicating and keeping in contact throughout the whole lead up to our trip.
We had Samuel as our driver guide who has excellent knowledge of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna on top of this he was very good in reading the body language of animals and with this we were able to witness lions take down a zebra. He was flexible with us and very accommodative of our ever changing timings. All in all our trip went smoothly thanks to Erick and the staff at Tracks Berg travel.

Wonderfull
We booked our safari with Beacon Safari’s. The trip was awesome!! Our guide Ken took us on a 5 day inc Masai Mara, Amboseli and Naivasha. I really think he gave us the extra bit too make our safari perfect. Personally i would advice too dpend most of the time in Mara. The landscape there is magnificent and the wildlife abundant and diverse. Amboseli is good for spotting large group of elephants and in Naivasha you can walk between some animals.

Amazing!
We are just back from three weeks in South Africa (and a 3 day side trip to Zimbabwe). It was an absolutely amazing trip! We loved South Africa - it is absolutely gorgeous and the people couldn't have been nicer. They have the best customer service we've experienced. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We had great weather - warm days and cool nights. We did four nights of safari in Krueger and were blown away by everything we saw - herds of elephants, a pride of lions, a pond full of hippos, a mama leopard and her cub....not to mention the zebras, rhinos, alpaca, waterbucks, kudu....and on and on! We also drove the Garden Route and spent time in the winelands. It couldn't have been better - we loved it so much we're planning on bringing our adult children back with us in a couple of years!
