It was nice to meet the wild!
We went on two safari trips with bushtroops: maasai mara and ambosseli. As a family traveling with young children we felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire trip. Our driver, Joseph was mindful of the characteristic of our group as well as attentive to our needs and requests. The accommodations, in Sentrim and Sopa lodge, that were selected for our journey were clean, safe, family-friendly and serene. Sleeping in the comfortable and solid permanent tent is a great first experience in the "wild" for city folks' like us. The food was really good. We enjoyed the African special tea, the most.
We recommend the whole experience.
Please note that the drive to Maasai Mara is longer than to ambosseli, but for what you'll experience, it is worth it.

Incredible experience
Our three day safari to Ngalawa camp in Selou was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. The wildlife and scenery were breathtaking and our guide ensured we saw all the animals we wanted to during our full day in the jeep, spending just the right amount of time at each place and telling us interesting facts about the animals, birds, trees and other nature. The accommodation was perfect for us and the food was really good. I cannot fault our safari as it was perfect in every way.

Great safari in the southern parks with few tourists and lots of animals!
The Southern Circuit (Selous, Mikumi, Ruaha) is really recommendable because you discover the big differencies in the behaviour of the animals in the different parks and the changing landscape on the way. The parks are not crowded at all (maybe Mikumi a little bit) and there are plenty of animals to see. Except of lions or leopards (where everyone is going directly to have a look) you will often be the only car close to the animals.
The weather is pleasant and the accomodations very nice. There are also just a few mosquitos and Tsetse-flies.
We would definitely recommend the Safari in the Southern Parks if you like more remote parks with few tourists.

Great Safari in Kenya with Back of Africa Adventure
I would recommend Back of Africa Adventure without any hesitation. Good and fast communication from the first email. For the Safari we used a minivan only for us (2 persons) and the acomodations were ok. The guide Simon was great and help us in any possible way.

Unforgettable great experience
We had a one-week safari. Our guide, Salum, was awesome: a skilled driver who knows a lot about parks, animals and local life. We enjoyed all three parks we have been to: Selous (many animals, amazing landscape, lovely campsite), Ruaha (the most untouched and particularly quite) and Mikumi (with many animals but way more turistic and overcrowded). Accommodation and meals were good though basic. Sometimes we had lunch in unforgettable places inside the parks. Food in the Selous Campsite will stay in our memory forever: the best food we had over three weeks in Tanzania thanks to Amos!
Incredible experience!
What a gem! Planning for the 10 days was left to Rose and team, and they did a marvellous schedule giving us a view of both the Khwai as well as the Kalahari. We experienced both private and 'public' areas, as well as the fixed tented and 'camping' experience. They were all superb. Food was great throughout, and the daily safari drives gave us an opportunity to see every animal expected. What I liked most was the simple and concise guides provided that help throughout the trip.
