30th anniversary trip of a lifetime
5/5

30 years ago my wife and I made up our respective "bucket list" trips. Her's was Kenya, mine was the Seychelles Islands. This year, on our 30th wedding anniversary, we reached out to The Luxury Safari Company to combine the two destinations into a trip of a life time. We were thrilled with the result. Our contact Rose developed an itinerary that included two luxury tent safari locations - one in the Lewa conservancy and the second in Masai Mara - that were uniquely memorable. We still talk about that segment of the trip and review our photos and videos a week after returning from our trip. After Kenya we jetted off to the Seychelles Islands and had a wonderfully relaxing week at the Six Senses Zil Pasyon resort. It was a perfect seque from the dawn to dusk safari schedule to chill out for a week in a luxury villa and the beaches of the Seychelles. We would not have changed a thing and we owe this memorable experience to Rose and team at The Luxury Safari Company.

Excellent Tour Operator in Kenya!
5/5

Please find below my safari review.

I went to Kenya a few weeks. I took advantage of my free time to go alone to Nakuru and I had the opportunity to make interesting meetings.

This trip was very enriching humanly and I could talk easily with the Kenyans, who are very warm people.

Mike, the coordinator of this program, is adorable. He knows his country and the city well. It is of great help for the concrete organization of outings, activities.

He accompanied me to the place of the course and also helped me to change money.

Advice for future participants: stay calm, open-minded and accept some unknown. A little anecdote (there are so many):

I fed the Velvet monkeys. Sadly a monkey grabbed me the glasses. Mike played a lot with it, and put it on his head.

I remember also the purring of some cheetahs that I was able to brush and who purred like big cats!

I will recommend Starluck because it is a serious and responsive organization.
Regards,
Jofra.

5/5

We came from Namibia to a wonderfull reception and excellent services by bush baby calls and the crew, we were welcomed and travelled to a camp in Moremi Game reserve of Xakanaka,we were met by roadblocks of big elephants and we were travelling through the sandy roads of the desert and mophane bushes, the quietness and songs of birds were amazing. At night since our campsite was near the river we were amazed by the roaring hippos which were fighting in the river,we had a wonderful seven nights in this area,we proceeded to savuti and we were met by large pride of lions with cubs on the road sleeping, many buffalos, impalas, the vegetation was totally different from one are to onather.the service of the game rangers we meet at the entrance wa cool, everyone smiles and greet you on the way.Nice Botswana and Nice Bush Baby Calls and staff.
See you and thank you
Gabriel

Before we started, we were in contact with land & lakes and all our Questions were friendly answered. Whem we started we had brillant Safari trips and saw all animals we could! The lodges were comfortable, very nice and the Victoria Falls were just "wow". We got excellent food and were driven arround by Henry Gundula. The best driver you can wish and a very friendly Person wit a lot of Knowledge About all things we wanted to know.

unforgetable
5/5

I am german- sorry for my english .-) Our crew consisted of Charlis, excellent and reliable driver and guide, Abdullah, most sympathetic and skilled chef, and Mgure, best and warmest and most polite waiter ever! we were picked up at Isebania, frontier kenya-tanzania, by Charlis. very nice welcome, very clean and well maintained landcruiser. We were taken to Seronera public campsite (washrooms disgusting), after 4 nights went to Ngorongoro and at least our safari ended in Arusha, Mount Meru Game Lodge (highly recomendable!!!)
What can I say?
our Trip was just fantastic, every second an experience we will never forget. Besides the impressing landscapes and the animals (We saw big 5, due to skilled eagle-eyed Charlis) ,
game drives provided by Charlis were always breath-taking, best Abdallah created wonderful meals, always a pleasure, my son was mostly amazed :-))), me ,too. Our sweet Mgure with his warm attitude and his nice smile made us feel ssssssooooooo very comfortable and is an excellent waiter! After our time spent together we felt very, very sad to leave this excellent crew. Hopefully they liked us as well as we liked them, we will always keep "big white bird", Abdullah and Mgure in our memory, they made or safari in East Africa unforgetable.
we went to Sansibar to recover from the exhausting and dusty safari, which was a good idea, we were booked for one of the best hotels in Sansibar, The Breezes. Splendid. Wonderful. Awesome.
BUT: WE MISSED THE WARM AND FRIENDLY AND CLOSE relation to OUR crew. We dont need live music for dinner, neither beeing seated on pink decorated chairs, neither guests that DO NOT GREET, nor buffet.
We would ALWAYS prefer to be with our crew. ASANTE SANA. Always in my mind. hakuna matata.
best regards, please forward this reviewe´ to them, thank you.

We we overwhelmed when Abdallah and Mgure showed of, presenting a cake and candles, performing a very special and personal version of Jambojambo for us. That was at our last night in Ngorongoro.

Rose is the fairy Godmother with the magic wand to the most incredible safari holiday.
5/5

We decided at pretty late notice to go on safari to celebrate some special milestones in our family and Rose, incredibly, efficiently pulled it together. We have been on quite a few safaris, but even then, this was amazing. Well planned, each camp different & a series of fabulous adventures catered to us. Truly magical, truly special.

Amazing experiences!
4/5

My boyfriend and I tok the 5 days safari in Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha, and it was amazing. We arrived day before and there was somebody to pick us up from the hotel the day safari started, then they drive us to the office (a very small room inside some building), since we were earlier than the office worker (it was closed) we had to pay for the trip in the car, what was very weird for me, and i was just praying that it was the wright person i was giving money to, but they had the receipt with my deposit transfer. It went well and when the office lady came we could wait for the bus inside the building with two other clients.
The driver, Sammy, was kind to tell us some informations about places we went to and animals we saw but since sometimes we were sitting on the back of the bus, and there was a lot of noise we couldn't hear everything, such a pity.
Sammy did everything he could to give us the best experience during the whole trip, even when the car broke down he organized an additional activity for the whole group of 7 people, that we did not pay for.
Leaving in tents in Mitimingi Eco Camp was not exactly as i expected but it was enough for two nights of sleep, food was ok and it was almost warm water after some time. We enjoyed the budget tent accommodation. The next two nights were in regular hostel and guest house with good housing standards.
Since people in our group had ordered different tours we had to split on the 4th day and me and my boyfriend stayed alone the last day with our new driver Joseph where we went to Hells gate national park where we rent bikes, were climbing and hiking. It was very relaxing day.
After tour we were transferred to our hotel.
