Amazing 3 day Tour
4/5

We booked a 3 day tour for a couple based on recommendations from a friend to visit Uganda.
The booking process was easy, however leading up to the tour, before departing our home country, we needed to request our itinerary, and when it was sent, we were really advised of how the guide / tour worked.

On arrival, we were greeted by our Guide Hannington. We then discovered our guide would be with us the whole time, which was a delightful surprise.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Hannington. His knowledge of the area, and the wider Uganda and Rwanda, along with his friendly personality made it such a pleasure to spend 3 days with him.

Once in Uganda we learned of all the amazing places to visit however sadly our flights and schedule were booked- our only feedback would have been great to know in advance all the other options to add on, as we could have spent 7 days in Uganda instead of 3.

We highly recommend requesting Hannington as your guide if you can - absolutely amazing!

Way better than expectation
5/5

It was my first trip to SA with very less information in my head. I randomly picked Safaribookings.com by the friendly layout of the page and picked Safari With us by affordable price and traveling period. I knew nothing and I asked quite a lot. Appreciated that your website provided me a good answer and I got many email correspondences with Safari with us that made me feel comfortable and filled me with useful information. Anyway the most important thing is the actual trip that was amazing in every way. The door to door transit were great. I absolutely love every minutes in the trip. Because my biology clock is 5 hr ahead the dinner were always a bit too big but very good. Tour put me and my friend in the small group with another nice couple for the whole trip which made me feel very comfortable. For the Safari, even tough our guides know that it's my first Safari which will make me happy with everything but I can sense that they still tried to give us the best experience in just a short time that we had. (We saw 4 from the big 5 in 3 days trip which is exactly as I was informed before that the chance is 80%.)
This trip makes me one of the fan of South Africa and will always be.

Personalization adds value to your experience
5/5

From the moment I arrived in Nairobi and was greeted by Mathew from Bateleur Eagle Safaris, I knew I was in caring and capable hands. Mathew was my in-country contact and was professional and courteous, warmly welcoming me, always politely holding the door and taking care of my luggage. I felt listened to and valued as a visitor to Kenya. Mathew understood how curious I was about the landscape and animals and wasted no time helping me to experience the natural habitat of the African wildlife - from the Rhinoceros we saw in a protected conservation area on the way from the airport, to the personalized trip to one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organisation, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where I experienced first hand the protection and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants and preservation of habitats in East Africa. My experience was second to none, from the respectful communication and dedicated service, to the genuine interaction and courteous tour guidance, I highly recommend Bateleur Eagle Safaris where you can be sure to enjoy an experience of a lifetime!

Awesome Trip
5/5

The 3 days trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in Tanzania was awesome. Our driver Goodluck was incredible. He is very experienced and guided us to the best spots to view game. He was flexible and even organized for an impromptu visit to Masai community for cultural exchange and roasted goat lunch on the last day. The itinerary was well planned and that we moved from one park to the next in succession with our hotels located close to the parks.
I will give 5 stars for great work from KWESA company.
They are worth every accolade

Great Safari! Well Done Vervet
5/5

We are writing to tell you that we were very impressed with the wonderful service from your team during our safari to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National park and Ngorongoro last month. Your team handled everything excellently - Rachel from reservations and our guide Melkiot were sensational. We appreciate all the efforts you made to make us happy. We had a fantastic Safari with plenty to see and extra nice accommodations.
Thank you and hopefully see you soon.

What an experience, double gorilla treks
5/5

First of all, before you see the Gorillas, which is why everyone goes there, Bwindi is just magical! It is a beautiful park as the scenery, the green all-around you, the misty mornings (mist can be seen hanging over the rain forest) take your breath away. The encounter with the gorillas is awe-inspiring. No words can paint a proper picture for you who has not been to Bwindi to see the Gorillas. You have to do it yourself to make your own conclusions. Last month, I and my sister went on a 6-day double Gorilla trek with Uzuri Uganda Safaris who I cannot fault as Edris did a good jog arranging everything. Our driver was Joachim and he looked after us as if we were his own family, he made us feel comfortable going above and beyond making our trip the best. He had a wealth of knowledge and was happy to share it with us delivering the information well. He had books in the car so he shared those with us to read for additional information! As mentioned above we had 2 treks with the Gorillas in Uganda and it was worth every penny! Each day was a completely different experience following different gorilla families. We crossed into Rwanda for the golden monkey tour in Volcanoes National Park after our two amazing treks in Uganda. The trek to see the Golden monkeys was good too but nothing compared to the Gorilla Treks. Everything else about the tour was great the accommodations, the food, the car and more. Thanks again Joachim and Uzuri Uganda Safaris we will never forget this experience!!!!

Unforgettable Safari remain in our life time Nurdin made it ......
5/5

In May 2019 we spent 2 nights 3 days on a safari booked with Wild Gaze Safaris and Nurdin Adam was our guide. It was our first trip to Tanzania and to Africa for that matter and it was the best intro and experience we could have asked for.

We chose to work with Wild Gaze Safaris because of Norbert, who from our first email interactions, answered our questions and put us at ease in the planning of the safari. He helped tailor the experience to our needs (we have 2 kids ), wishes and budget - while giving us the guidance and expertise he has. He helped to demystify the safari planning process and showed us that it’s didn’t need to cost $500 per day per person which was what we were getting from outfitters. From the logistical side, Norbert was exceptionally great to work with and his choices and recommendations for Bandas, accommodations and sites proved to be excellent. Our favorite accommodations were:
Ruaha National Park

As for the actual safari experience day to day, that was what it was because of Nurdin. He is kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.
we were a team and our children LOVED him. I always felt he had our best interests at heart and we trusted him and his recommendations and suggestions without question. I was very nervous to come to Africa because of many unknowns (that now in retrospect seem very silly) and that anxiousness went away as soon as we got in the car with Nurdin on Day 1 and never returned. Some of our favorite times were meal times in the Bandas the government property in which we sat together and talked about the day and shared stories.

We will return to Tanzania again because of Nurdin and hopefully get the chance to work with him.

Pefect recommendation ever !!!!
5/5

Based on recommendations from friends who have already travelled with them and reading reviews we chose Africa Adventure Vacations to organize our trip to Uganda for our family of 5 (three kids age 13, 7, 5). Already prior to our trip Robert was very helpful in advising us on an itinerary that would best fit our interests and duration of stay. He was very professional with exceptional customer care. We stayed in the most comfortable lodges during our safari. Parkiew safari lodge and Gorillas were the safari highlight. We shall definitely recommend your services once we get back home
