Memorable moments in Africa
We contacted African travel tour agency with open request to organize Kilimanjaro climb and Safari tour. Our main contact for the trip was Abraham. Comunication with Abraham was open, fast, timely and concrete. He gave us few possibilities and suggestions out of which we selected the most suitable. Upon arrival we were once again presented with 11 days agenda and at that point we met our guide for Kili climb. For the Kili climb agency works with group of very experienced and professional guides, chef and ports, led by Erastus- most senior and experienced guide (12 years of experience). Erastus and his crew were very supportive during the climb and provided everything we needed (excellent food, constant support, organised aproach and most important positive and cheerful atmosphere).During the Safari part of the trip we shared a car with 4 more people which was fantastic. It was wonderful with beautiful nature, animals and again good atmosphere. Drivers Hussein and Golden showed good knowledge of national parks and provided interesting facts. The food was excellent and same as on Kili one cannot stay hungry :) During the stay in Arusha we were accomodated in beautiful Nyumbani lodge where we got opportunity to relax and also get interesting information about Tanzania from the host Andrew. During the whole 11 days trip everything went smoothly and we were taken care of in terms of food, transport, accomodation and information on the next steps. Overall we would recommend African travel tour. Thank you for everything! We will never forget this trip.

Snowcap Delivered as promised
Snowcap was exactly as I expected. A mid-priced private tour for my adult daughter and I to the top of Africa. My reason for using Snowcap was because they allowed us to do the Rongai route in 5 days instead of the 6 day minimum. Snowcap is a tour company but they do not have their own dedicated staff of guides and porters. They outsource from a pool of approved and licensed porters, cooks, guides etc. Our group of 2 climbers required(?) a staggering staff of 10. This later proved to be a good thing because 3 of them needed to be evacuated due to altitude sickness from base camp (Kibo) before the (successful) summit attempt. The guide (Makashi) was very professional and capable. Snowcap ran the tour as promised with a few exceptions. We wanted to stay at Snowcap’s lodge in Rongai in order to get an early start to the climb, however on departure morning, we did not have our permit which needed to be procured from the park gate at the other side of the mountain......5 hours drive by public transport from Rongai. This reduced our ‘already’ tight schedule. This avoidable delay and poor discipline of the team to stay together as a team while in the trail (resulting in a lost porter) were the low points of the tour. The high point (quite literally) being the successful summit. Thanks Snowcap!

Amazing experience
It was an amazing experience and great moments. Very satisfied with the overall organisation of the safari from Ene. We were well informed and prepared before hand and got very good advice and recommendations from her. We had a very friendly driver/guide Emmanuel, who managed to track down so many different animals. He arrived punctually in the morning of our first day, and we felt very safe on the road to the parks with him. Great dinner and basic but very comfortable accommodation. They did an amazing job, these days were one of the best of our lives and we truly recommend you this company who did an amazing job for a very reasonable price.

Exciting, different, adventurous, awesome , educational, inspirational, professional,
The service was excellent. Staff very professional & organised. Hot water was always available for showering but would have liked the shower rose to have more holes for better flow. meals were delicious & good variety.
Guides - James& Elijah were very knowledgeable & informative. We learned so much & they were always happy to answer questions no matter how trivial & repetitive they were. We felt safe the whole time. I was disappointed that we didn’t get to see any Leopards or lions but understood that they’re not that easy to see but was happy to see all the animals & birds that we did.
I didn’t have any expectations of the Safari so was very happy with it.

Fantastic - definitely recommend Experience Uganda
We were extremely impressed with all aspects of the service we received from Experience Uganda, from our initial booking, to getting advice ensuring we got what we wanted from the holiday, through to packing advice. All aspects of the service was extremely professional.
When we arrived in Uganda everything was well organised and seemless handled.
All members of their staff went above and beyond in all areas.

Exciting. Educating. Fun. Amazing experience!
Both our guides (James and E.G) had a wealth of knowledge. They were both so patient and were able to answer ANY question we had, from the vegetation, animals, land and the sky! We were all super impressed with the depth of their knowledge and their willingness to educate us about Africa.
Service at camp was above and beyond! All the guys knew exactly what they were doing and catered to us completely. We had 4-course dinners every night plus outstanding spreads for lunch. On top of that, our great breakfasts, freshly baked goods for morning and afternoon tea! When i think about camping, i definitely didn't think our stomachs would be so well kept. I was so impressed that our chef was able to cook and bake so much over an open fire. The guys also organised lovely warm showers for us every night which was another pleasant surprise, especially after our days of hiking and canoeing. But something that i really wanted to mention which was one of my favourite parts of camping at Mana was the CAMP FIRES! the guys would set them up every night for us to watch the sun go down as well as, every morning before the sun came up. We had lovely warm camp fire breakfasts, a perfect peaceful start to all our days!
I wouldn't describe myself as a camper. So when I was told i would be camping on this trip, I had set my expectation fairly low. This was also slightly tactical as I would've rather been surprised as opposed to disappointed about the whole camping experience. But this was definitely not necessary at all. I loved it. Our tents were so spacious we were able to stand and spread out compfortably. We also had two bed's in each tent which the guys had set up, along with the whole camp before we arrived back to camp each day. Our bed's were super cosy and i actually loved sleeping under the stars.
As a whole, I had an amazing experience and truly can't wait to return! Thanks to James, E.G and the Guys, everyone were so welcoming and hospitable i have nothing but amazing things to say about Nature Ways and Mana Pools!!!

Thank you Yellow Zebra for helping us with this adventure of a lifetime!
We spoke to a few safari travel agents but decided to go with Yellow Zebra for our honeymoon because of their knowledge and professionalism. Emma Dunn did an excellent job in helping us tailor our trip and ensuring we are well-informed about the places we are going to visit and the pre-trip planning (packing, tips, etc). Yellow Zebra was also extremely efficient with our last-minute request for a hot air balloon safari in Maasai Mara. The itinerary was well thought-out with a couple of days in the Loisaba Conservancy introducing us to the African wildlife, including a really good suggestion to try Loisaba Starbeds for a night (great experience sleeping under the stars), and then on to Maasai Mara for a full-blown safari adventure (lots of big cats and the wildebeest migration). The trip went without a hitch with Tradewinds picking us from airside the minute we landed in Nairobi and Bush & Beyond doing the airport transfers and half-day city tour to the Giraffe Centre and Elephant Orphanage. The service at all the camps we stayed in (Loisaba Starbeds, Loisaba Tented Camp, Offbeat Mara) was top-notch; food was excellent as well. Thank you Yellow Zebra for helping us with this adventure of a lifetime to Kenya!
