Guides were Rockstars!! Saw big 5 up close and personal.
I never thought I would be less than 10 feet away from two male lions eating a water buffalo! This was a once in a lifetime adventure that was well worth going on. We saw tons of wildlife and our guide pulled up right next to them, sometimes eerily close. We were very fortunate that we did get to see the big five but it is not guaranteed. We went in the winter so we saw all of the babies - elephants, hippos, hyenas, rhinos, lions and more!
Our team, led by Teenage, was outstanding. I have to say, I was a little worried when I found we would be sleeping in tents in the wild but the food was awesome, (thanks to the Chef!!) the accommodations were comfortable, and the camp setup / breakdown was handled without a hitch. If you plan on going, be prepared for many hours of riding in the open safari vehicle. We did get to stretch our legs some but there is minimal physical activity.
I would highly recommend Moonstroll when considering a safari.

Review about Tarangire National Park by Ulka
We loved Tarangire park with its baobab trees and many herds of elephants as well as prides of lions. It is much more compact than Serengeti but very scenic.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Ulka
Serengeti is amazing, especially since we saw wildebeest migration with thousands of wildebeest, including babies. Serengeti is vast so one needs to be in safari vehicle from early morning till dusk to take advantage of seeing the animals that are spread over this vast area.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Ulka
Ngorongoro crater is very scenic but our wildlife sighting was much better in Tarangire as well as Serengeti. We saw rhinos from very far since there appears to be some research going with the rhinos or perhaps there has been poaching.

We didn't see as much wildlife up close as we saw in other locations and there were many more people.

Review about Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve by Emily
This is a beautiful overlook of the 3rd largest Canyon in the world. I could do without all of the street vendors, though.

Excellent safari with a wonderful guide, saw wildlife up close!
We visited Tarangire - 1 day, Ngorongoro crater 1 day, central Serengeti 2 days, Northern Serengeti 2 days. We liked Tarangire park the best with its many elephant herds, prides of lions, wildebeest and zebra herds. Serengeti was amazing and we saw herds of wild buffaloes, a leopard, a cheetah, herds of wildebeest migration, in addition to the wonderful scenery especially in Northern Serengeti.
We were happy with our tented camps and food provided.
Our guide Iddy with Takims Holidays was excellent. We managed to see cheetah as well as a leopard which are hard to spot. He knew exactly where the animals would move if there were many jeeps and hence were able to get very close to the wildlife.
We would notice other jeeps following us wherever we went since our driver had a good reputation.
Our son got very sick with severe diarrhea when we left Ngorongoro. He knew about the resident doctor at Four Seasons in Central Serengeti and she was able to stabilize his condition so we could complete the safari. The staff at the Central Serengeti tented camp didn't know about this facility.
Absolutely recommend Tanzania safari, as well as our tour operator, Takims Holidays and mainly our guide Iddy

The safari was an adventure for live!
Kenya was an experience for live. The wildlife and nature are amazing. We enjoyed the knowledge of a very nice guide. Our family of five enjoyed very much a four weel drive car with an excellent and calm driver just for over comfort, that also made the program flexible. Over all a Journey I would recomend.
