He made an incredible effort to help us see all of the Big Five, and thanks to his dedication, we were able to spot every one of them. Throughout the entire three days, he was consistently kind, professional, and attentive.
When our lodge didn’t have Wi-Fi, Kelvin even lent us his personal Wi-Fi so we could stay connected, which really showed how thoughtful and caring he is.

Our journey UPENDO-SOYUZ WOMEN GROUP. A group of ten people, all women. We chose the dates October 17-18 this year, traveling from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro and Mikumi National Park. Two days and one night filled with travel, unity, and living beauty of Tanzania. Wild nature of Mikumi - a place where the heart rest and the soul is filled with gratitude.
The safari gave us unforgettable encounters with wildlife, the silence of the savannah. This was not just a trip - it was a time of friendship, support, joy, and women's unity.
Our entire journey was organized absolutely wonderfully, from beginning to end. Our tour operator was Edward, and we were accompanied by excellent tour guides Ricardo Carlos and Pius.
Our guides provided clear and engaging information about the park's geographical location and the behavior of the animals. These young men also handled the 4x4 jeeps very professionally - they were attentive on the road, confident drivers, and very friendly. Amazing experience with an attentive team
My experience with Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris have been great. Derick was very thorough in answering any question I had and very flezile in accommodating my requests. Even though I booked a shared tour, I was still able to change my itinerary to a certain degree (I added 1 more night in Serengeti and had a mix of budget and mid-rang accommodation depending on the location). The guides I went with were all amazing, especially Nestory who is very experienced, so I was able to see a lot of unique moments while doing the safaris. (We even saw an impala giving birth!)
Despite the fact that it was the low season and the political situation that led a lot of people to canceled and thus resulting in some adjustments during the tour, the company is always communicative and responsive. That made me feel extra safe as a female solo traveler.
