Every detail of this trip was carefully thought out and seamlessly executed. From the moment we were met at the airport, Sympathy worked tirelessly to not only include all the activities we wished to undertake, but to include many others that were incredible experiences that further enriched our trip. We wanted to see and experience visits with a range of primates - chimpanzees, gorillas and golden monkeys, and ended up seeing and doing so much more. Sympathy's passion for Uganda, especially the mountain region and his deep engagement with the local communities including his own mentoring and support activities was inspiring. The lodges were fantastic, the tours were excellent, and we experienced a terrific additional array of activities that in our case included our desire to visit artisan communities. This tour greatly exceeded our expectations and I would without hesitation recommend Allanblackia safaris.

Brian and Issah were absolutely fantastic. Trip was well thought out, well carried out and felt like they truly cared about the process. Very pleased with Saddam (driver and guide)
We toured the Amboseli National Park over X-mas in 2025. Saddam, which is his call name, not real one, took us from Nairobi forth and back.
I consider the roads of Kenya much more dangerous than wildlife, crime, or whatever in Kenya. At the beginning of our trip I had a word with Saddam about my concerns and asked him to drive safety (disclosure: pecuniary incentive offered). He took us safely back and forth. Good reading of traffic and prediction of intentions and behavior of other (insane) drivers. Overtakings are inevitable, overloaded trucks snarling up in hilly terrain, elephant overtakings when one overloaded truck overtakes another ditto uphill, Saddam drove exemplarily.
Saddam also took us inside the Amboseli National Park. He is a very extrovert person, seems to know most people around. He stops at every second or third other safari 4x4 to exchange that special handshake and small talk with the driver, while constantly listening to the chatter on the radio com channel. I interpret it as constantly being online on Kenya-style social media. It may be slightly annoying, but he has very good situational awareness. He is very familiar with the park and the terrain. I have book an individual tour with a very short notice and it was the best experience ever due to the locations of the hotels as well as the experience of the tour guide and driver. I have managed to see all the big five as well as other animals and enjoy the beautiful sights which made the tour a success.
