AMAZING journey with professional guide
It is the first time to come to TANSANIA, unregreable to choose TOPY TOURS. In the beginning of preparation phase, the feedback was always very quickly! Our Guide Eliamani is very recommended not only because of his over 20-years Safari experience but also the history knowledge of Tansania and drive skills. He is very reliable and shows professional ability to be the Safari guide.

Epic 10 day trip of Zimbabwe and Botswana with Cuckoo Safaris
We personalised the Cuckoo Safari 10 day tour with the help of Tatenda, adding Hwange NP and removing the Saltpans. We also upgraded our Chobe hotel and Tatenda was very helpful with all our queries. Before the trip we were added to a whats app group with our guide Simon who we had read about in previous reviews and was so happy to hear would be our guide. We stayed at the Pioneer Lodge in Victoria Falls which was a gorgeous lodge style hotel with lovely gardens, at Chobe we upgraded to a riverview apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an amazing balcony definetely worth the upgrade, elephant sands was our break inbetween kasane and maun accomodation was basic but comfortable and the elephants were the star of the show and at maun we stayed at Cresta Maun which was fine comfortable room and friendly staff. In Victoria Falls, we did the sunset cruise, the falls tour from both sides and a day trip to Hwange. The falls were at their best on the zimbwawe side and Simon took us round and was a brilliant guide, our guide on the Zambia side Delphister was lovely too and it was interesting seeing more of the geology on this side. Hwange was an interesting drive Simon and the other Tatenda did really well negotating the roads, we stopped at Hwange Safari Lodge to pick up our packed lunch and then met our guide Big M who was brilliant and took us out into the park, we saw 3 male lion, elephant, hippos, giraffe, antelope etc. We then went to Chobe where we did 3 game drives with Gift and a river boat cruise with July both from Puku safaris, both great guides, Gift was amazing at tracking the wildlife and we saw lions on every outing with him including cubs amazing. We also did a game drive from elephant sands and then in Maun we did the helicopter flight over the delta amazing but terrifying as we had never been in a helicopter before and then this one had no doors! A very peaceful and scenic mokoro trip with Gidean from the local village and then a long but brilliant day to Moremi game reserve with Lee where we saw wild dogs (and pups) and hyena. We were really lucky when it came to wildlife, but also through great guides tracking skills, our main guide through it all Simon was amazing so knowlegable and friendly he is a credit to cuckoo and I would highly recommend him as your guide, we had a few issues along the route as always happens on trips but they were all sorted and we always knew Simon was there to help either in person or through whats app. Zimbabwe and Botswana are both incredible countries, with wonderful people and the amount of wildlife is just incredible I never thought I'd lose count of the amount of lion we saw, we were also very lucky to see leopard, countless other wildlife, and beautiful scenery and sunsets if you are wondering whether to go we highly recommend as two sisters we never felt unsafe. One of us got a upset stomach towards the end of the trip but this did not spoil the trip just to be aware this may happen. We both managed to eat vegetarian fine at all times on the trip but found it more tricky to eat vegan although Simon did his best to help and this was really appreciated. We hope to travel with Cuckoo and Simon in the future and are excited to hear of their plans in Namibia.

Fluent communication, high cost performance, beyond expectations
We have finished our tour in Tanzania during 08/31/2024-09/08/2024. Definitely amazing experience!
*Communication: 10, smoothly. We firstly built the draft plan and sent to several companies, Super Africa Wildlife gave us the best quote for the first version and answered all questions we asked(20+). The manager even has Wechat to communicate, which saved so much time. We can feel the honesty and patience of the company.
*Service: 9, excellent. The whole service followed the plan in quote. Our guide Andrea are experienced with driving and guiding, especially he can find many animals accurately and predict the next step of the animal, then choose a better place for photo. He can even speak Chinese to introduce the Chinese name of many animals. A small point which can be optimized is that about hotel booking, we booked the company very late then some tents were booked up, then changed to another hotel/tent, the quality was still perfect, while the address of hotel is not that fit for our plan. But we were lucky enough and saw wildbeasts crossing Mara river at very beginning without waiting, so the pertential waste of time eliminated. For the shopping, we went 4 points while the best was on the last. We think maybe next time we can directly go to the last big shop for shopping and not stopped before.
*Value of money: 9, excellent. We compared many quotes and discussed the price with the company, the price is not very high, we think it's worthy. We transferred all the money before travelling and get 2% more discount and didn't face any problems.
*Reliability: 10, perfect. All followed the plan, no accident, anything can be arranged very well.
*The tour: 10, perfect. My dream came true.
I will definitely highly recommand the company to my friends and colleagues.
Incredible safari with thoughtful touches and an expert safari guide.
We were a party of two on a private safari in mid-September, and we did the 8-day “Best Migration Mara River Crossing” tour. It included visits to Tarangire National Park, Central and Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. The vehicle was very spacious, which we highly recommend to allow for movement and changing seating positions during the long drives between parks.
The booking process was seamless, and the company was incredibly responsive, easily adapting to our changing plans. We were particularly impressed with their ability to problem-solve when we had an unexpected issue at 2 AM upon landing at Kilimanjaro Airport.
The accommodations they booked exceeded our expectations for comfort and service, especially considering our mid-range luxury budget. While the Northern Serengeti camp was less luxurious due to its temporary nature for the Great Migration season (June-October), it still offered good Wi-Fi and hot water, which was more than sufficient.
Our guide, Gasper, truly made the experience exceptional. His attention to small details—such as cleaning the floor mats nightly, separating fruit from hot food in the cooler, timing bathroom breaks perfectly, and expertly navigating dusty roads—really added to the comfort of our journey. His expert driving ensured we always had the best angle for photos, even when competing with other safari vehicles. His ability to predict animal movements and position the vehicle accordingly was impressive, giving us prime views every time.
Gasper also knew the terrain like the back of his hand, from Arusha to Northern Serengeti, timing wildlife stops and washroom breaks flawlessly. His knowledge of the wildlife was extensive, with a keen eye for spotting animals even at a distance. Most notably, he frequently adjusted our route based on radio chatter between guides, optimizing wildlife sightings without compromising our schedule. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see the Big Five, including a rhino, which is not always guaranteed.
Overall, this was an unforgettable safari experience, made even better by Gasper’s skill, knowledge, and thoughtful attention to detail. We highly recommend this company for a well-organized and personalized safari adventure.
