So many amazing experiences! Simply wonderful.
5/5

We simply could not have had a better experience.
Our guide/driver/new friend, Ricky was immediately invested in our experience and journey. He made sure we were comfortable, informed and well taken care of. We cannot overstate what an excellent guide Ricky was.
We had magical encounters with leopards, chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes and gorillas! We were actually the envy of several other safari goers and guides we met at the various lodges
Speaking of accommodations, all of the lodges were in great locations with wonderful views and food. Surprisingly high-end food most of the time. Chef-level stuff.
Uganda is a staggeringly beautiful country. You will be amazed at the wildlife, enchanted by the people and stunned by the scenery. But most of all, you will be in good hands with Ricky and Beautiful Uganda Safari’s!!

Smaller but so many elephants just living their life and you have to cope with it. When they decide to block a road, they do and you won’t be able to bring them to other ideas.

Serengeti is great and the tented Kon Tiki Camp with house impalas, zebras and the nightly visits of hippopotamus is unique.

A lot of trees and bush making it a bit more difficult to spot wildlife.
The lake offers a lot of birds though.

Due to the wetland nature of this area, there were different bird species. It was magical to travel by Makoro through narrow channels and to camp on an island. It was the only place on our travels where we were allowed to do a walking safari and it is quite special to follow animal tracks on foot.

So glad that we included this in our itinerary as the scenery was quite different to other areas and as a result there were differences in wildlife too

Hwange National Park is a breathtakingly beautiful haven, teeming with diverse wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

I recently visited Hwange National Park and had an unforgettable experience! The park's vast wilderness and diverse wildlife left me in awe, with majestic elephants, lions, antelopes, and vibrant birdlife making every game drive a thrilling adventure. The scenic landscapes, from dense forests to open savannas, were breathtakingly beautiful, and the warm hospitality of the park staff and locals made us feel welcome.
