Super guide Joseph and cook Deo offered us a fine safari
5/5

We had realy a wonderfull 4 days safari. Many thanks for ou guide and cook. Joseph had very good contact with our two boys (aged 20 and 16). He spoke good english and had an easy way of having humor with our sons. He knew a lot about the culture and nature and was allways at the right spot to show us the wonderfull surroundings and animals off Serengetti, Nogrongoro and Tanangire. Our cook Deo provided us with good meals. His traditional Tanzanian Soup with bananas, we will never forget.

A beautiful tour by a beautiful person
5/5

This team has been wonderful. There are many positive things to say about mama savana and our tour guide (Haruuni). Where can i begin:

Communication is very easy and response to questions are immediate.

The entire team is accommodating and haruuni is especially attentive. We felt like family and had such a fantastic time.

It was simply Amazing!!
5/5

My family and I (5 people) took a 7 days safari with Africa Gorilla Wild. The driver/ guide, Peter Mugogo was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We visited Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park, and later transferred to Kibale National park to see Chimpanzees. The climax of our safari was seeing the mountain Gorillas in Mgahinga. Gorilla trekking is a must do when you visit Uganda! I was surprised by how close we interacted with the Gorillas, I had imagined that we would only be able to view them from a distance. I also enjoyed visiting the Batwa tribe, learning about their culture and listening to their music.

We were pleasantly surprised when we chartered a boat to take us to Lake Bunyonyi Lodge and enjoyed viewing the kigezi terraced hills.beautiful
All accommodations were more than adequate, clean rooms with hot showers.
The trip was trouble free. Peter’s safari van was in excellent condition and fully equipped and well stocked . Our two teenagers enjoyed Peter's stories as much as we did. I highly recommend Africa Gorilla wild for its outstanding service at a reasonable price.

Great experience with fantastic drivers
4/5

The safari was planned down to a T and I had regular contact with the company to ensure that everything was as needed. The staff and drivers (Edward and Elisa) were extremely friendly throughout the three days they were with us. They were both fantastic in the Murchison Falls National Park, knowing where to take us to see all the animals, offering to take us put again on the last day and just being absolute stars. I would definitely recommend the company and the drivers to anyone thinking of going on a safari in Uganda.

Camping Safari (with a Twist)
4/5

Walter is by far the best travel agent we have had! He is always very good in getting back to us with the information we need in a timely fashion. The communicate level way exceeds our expectation.
The trip was relaxing and we get to see a lot of animals. It is a unique experience than other safaris that we had been on as this move from location to location and you get to see and experience different aspects of the animal, landscape, flora and fauna as we travel. The accommodation is good and we are amazed of the type of food the chef can make in a camp environment. We were totally unplugged from the outside world as there are no internet connection, no electricity etc. Cautions should be taken of your temperature tolerance so you can pick the season that will be best for you as you will have no AC or heating. We went during winter so the morning and the evening were chilly. However, the beddings were very comfortable and we were warm enough except for the brief moments between getting out of bed and putting clothes on. The guide was very knowledgeable and the camp staff were courteous and attentive. Overall a great experience!

Tanja is very flexible, approachable and has been super accommodating and helping out on all fronts
5/5

Tanja has helped us (family of 5, three young kids living in SA but orginally from NL) out with our trip through Namibia and Botswana in a very professional way. She found the right balance of advising/steering and accommodating our wishes and was always there for us. She was knowledgeable on the region and about specific places and very efficient. We are very thankful and would certainly recommend her to everyone!

Outstanding Namibia and Botswana specialist
5/5

This Windhoek travel agency did an excellent job of booking our three week self-drive thru Namibia and Botswana. We stayed at a mix of higher and mid priced lodges, guest houses and tented camps.

Anita did a great job of booking lodges and activities that we wanted and gave us useful alternatives when needed. She booked airport transfer and really had a good handle on the rental car options/companies.

Their pricing was totally transparent and allowed us to splurge and economize in ways that met our needs.

The initial payment was thru PayPal with main payment thru Visa.

In addition, their website is a good information source for planning.

Highly recommend. I got quotes from Two other companies but they were more expensive. In addition, I really like to support the country that I am visiting vs some folks based in US/Europe.

I had an awesome safari and really appreciated our drivers Kakasii and Leslie for a great experience
5/5

The itinerary sent out ahead of the trip and info on what to expect and clothes to wear was great. Enjoyed getting to meet our drivers Kakasii and Leslie the night before our safari and getting to go over the itinerary right before leaving was also helpful. Had a great safari, got to see the Big 5 and many more animals. I was amazed at how close the animals were at times, the lion walking down the road right at us and then beside our vehicle was priceless. Kakasii and Leslie were fantastic as they not only showed us the wild life but gave us facts about the animals and the National Parks, Tanzania and Africa. They had cold bottled water for us and made sure we all stayed hydrated and the importance to keep drinking water. We had great food and our lodging was excellent also. They both made sure all of us were enjoying the experience and really got to know each of us. I can't thank them and Brenda enough for a fantastic safari, I really enjoyed my time with them and will never forget my favorite line from Kakasii "polepole".

2 families, 6 wild teenagers, plenty of wild animals and 2 wild guides!
5/5

It took us a long time to choose a Mobile Safari operator for our 10 night tour in Botswana and we are so glad that Kalahari Skies was the chosen one. There are a lot of people to keep happy when 2 Australian families of 5 are travelling and Kalahari Skies managed to do that with professional excellence. We were in the capable, friendly and caring hands of guides Newman and Killo. After 10 nights they were part of the family.
Every part of the safari was well planned with fabulous tents, hot showers, delicious food (keeping the vegetarian and gluten free very happy), friendly smiles, animal knowledge etc etc. However, the real reason you want to go with Kalahari Skies is because their vehicles are the best in the business. Many times we drove past other companies with open safari vehicles early in the morning to see their clients so cold and miserable while we stayed toasty warm behind the sliding windows. A couple of hours later we would just drop the windows right down and enjoy being mere metres away from the amazing display of healthy predators and their prey. Those vehicles were thrashed along the dirt roads and stood up to the test very well (we were bogged once but that's part of the adventure!)
The Bradleys and Bivianos would like to give their sincere thanks to the beautiful people that are Newman and Killo, the wonderful cooks that are George (who somehow managed to make a 50th Birthday cake on an open fire) and Matteo (who can speak Chinese), the fabulous bar stocker that is JT and our amazing 'jacks of all trades', Ronald and Matsuabe.
