4 day (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) - standard tented safari
4/5

Most of things was like they promised.
They meet me at the hotel day before for payments. Next day they pick me up from the hotel (car was 40min late).

4 day tented safari:
- Tarangire. First there was agreement about visiting Lake Manyara NP, but they changed "because most animas migrated to Tarangire", I don't know if that was true, but there was a lot of animals in Tarangire. Night in OK fenced camping site near Lake Manyara.
- Serengeti - not so much animals because of tjhe season (guide sad that most of wildebeest have migrated to Masai Mara). Night in tents in very basic camp inside Serengeti.
- Ngorongoro - more animals than in Serengeti. Night in tents in very basic camp on the rim of Ngorongoro crater. NB! there is cold in camp (+5-10 Celsius at night) and in also in crater before noon.

Our driver Estomi was helpful, drove carefully. Car was old but clean. One day it was broken, and our group was divided between two other cars for half day.
Food and lunchboxes were average.
Company used different cars (6 and 8 seats) and mixed groups between cars. In our car there was from 3 to 8 persons during the game drive.
In conclusion it was good tour for its money.

Just Go
5/5

We spent over 2 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania with Africa Untamed last month. I contacted Evans by e-mail through their website to request a quote. Their quote was much better than several others, with only the best lodges included. This was a private tour for 2. I asked Evans dozens of questions, each was carefully answered very quickly. We planned this trip together, with his input being very important because he knows the area and is an experienced guide. Everything was perfect. The guides in Kenya and Tanzania were so knowledgable, they could answer any question. We had Bernard in Kenya, and Peter in Tanzania. We were spoiled by our guides, who were so kind and fun. We also stayed 3 nights at Enkewa Tented Camp in the Maasai Mara, where we had Maasai guides. They were fun, and very interested in helping us learn about their world. We experienced a personal safari, focused on the way we wanted to vacation. We worked hard, and were rewarded with so many animal sightings, including migration crossings at the Mara River. This company is first class and reliable. It was wonderful.

Warm, friendly, extremely responsive customer service
5/5

We think Angela did an amazing job coordinating our trip for us, in terms of providing different options for our travel, looking into dates, pricing things according to our budget, and exploring a variety of activities and venues. We had a fantastic trip and would recommend Uniglobe to any friends looking to plan safaris or other travel in East Africa region! Thank you!

Knowledge of the tour guide
4/5

The guide who was also our driver was punctual and was well knowledged about tarangire national park. He was able to communicate with other drivers in the park and drive to places where we were able to see a lot of elephants (and other animals).

Great experience with great people!
5/5

The Safari was fantastic! Saw the big five and learnt a lot about the animals and life in the Masai Mara. Accommodation was great and very comfortable. The only thing we wouldn't recommend is the stop at Lake Navaisha - it's not necessary and you don't really do anything there. Tour guide was also excellent.

Just amazing!
5/5

Last week I came back from one of the best trips I have lived so far and which I will always remember. Two friends and I travelled to Kenya and Tanzania for 15 days and we had the chance to live the essence of Africa, its beautiful and different landscapes, its animals and its people. We did a long safari of 10 days (Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire), spent one day in Arusha, did a short trekking in Materuni and flow to Zanzibar, where we stayed the rest of our trip.

My friends and I agree with the fact that doing a safari of 10 days can be too much. I love animals and I enjoyed a lot watching them. However, it is true that once you have seen so many giraffes, impalas, zebras and wildebeest, it is no longer exciting to see more of these animals. That’s why we consider that maybe with 4-5 days in a safari would be enough. The best parks to me are Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Having explained a little bit our experience of this trip I would also like to give me opinion regarding the agencies with whom we travelled: Spirit of Kenya and Soul of Tanzania.

On January we bought the flights from Barcelona to Nairobi and once we got them I started getting in touch with lots of agencies, Spanish and foreigner ones. I rejected most of them due to its expensive prices. We were aware that travelling to Africa was expensive but we wanted to find a more “affordable” agency but without having to renounce to the things we wanted. At the end I finished discussing our trip with only a few agencies and among them there was Spirit of Kenya and Soul of Tanzania, the agencies with whom we shared our amazing experience in Africa. From that moment, the only aspect that we took into consideration in order to choose one agency or the other one was the treatment received from the beginning.

Vanessa was the person with whom I discussed everything from the first instance and her help, kindness, predisposal and willingness to offer us the perfect trip were crucial factors to make our decision. She always answered my e-mails and questions very quickly (many of them in less than 24 hours) no matter the time it was. Her e-mails were clear and very detailed. She was very patient with all my requests and my constant changes of opinion. She offered us different combinations of routes and activities attending our preferences and she gave us too different accommodation options taking into account its level (high, medium, normal).

The treatment received from her as well as from the agency never changed and remained the same during the whole trip. Before our trip I read many opinions of different people and some of them explained that their agency adopted a carefree attitude once they made the first payment of the price. This was not our case and the agency was always willing to help and to make our trip possible. In addition, we were in touch quite often since they had to confirm us the booking of the different accommodations chosen.

Even when difficulties ahead they acted honestly and quickly. There was a misunderstanding with the total price of our trip since in the final version of the contract it was stipulated one amount and after having paid the 50% of the same they notified us that the sum of the total amounts was wrong and that the final price was higher ($ 1,500 more). From that moment I discussed all this issue with the general director. She apologized for the misunderstanding and offered us different solutions to avoid the extra cost. Besides, she offered us to the possibility to cancel the reservation and to refund our money as well as to maintain all the reservations made in the event we decided to continue with a different agency. Finally, taking into consideration all the options we had, we decided to continue with them and we only had to modify a little bit our itinerary in order to reduce the final price. Moreover, they also offered us an upgrade on the Tanzania side to their premium line: better jeep (we could charge our phones and cameras), better food (including wine), unlimited water bottles during safari of 1 liter and a fabulous guide. Also, I have to mention that, while in Arusha, where we were spending two nights in the same accommodation, we asked them to change the second night since we were not comfortable in the place we booked (it was dirty, the insect screen was broken, etc.). The agency answer very quickly and they changed our accommodation for the next night free of additional charges.

Having set the aforementioned, I would sincerely recommend both agencies (Spirit of Kenya and Soul of Tanzania) and if I had to repeat our trip I would clearly do it with them again.

Amazing experience
5/5

This is completely "out of the box" experience.
Now i know that Axis Africa Safaris were the best option that i could choose. They have good prices and provide amazing experiences during all the safari. Always worried about our well being and that everything runs as planned.
We saw all the animals because Martin was the best guide ever, and was always on top of the event. He has a great knowledge about animals.
We did a 5 day safari, and spent 2 nights in masais mara, 1 in nakuru and 2 in ambosseli. The best park was masai mara, because in masai we can stay really close the animals. Nakuru was very beautifull to. Ambosseli has superb landscapes because of kilimanjaro... sometimes he his very shy but we saw him everyday. The best accommodation was in ambosseli , with Kibo Safari Camp, so so beautifull.
So, if you are thinking about doing a safari, you should choose Axis Africa Safari and ask forMartin to be your guide!!!

Very reactive and best Value for money
5/5

We went recently to Tanzania for Safaris and Zanzibar and for the Safaris part, we contacted many agencies and it didn't take us long to pick AAA Express as Jalala was very reactive even though we requested several changes :)
Jalala provided us with the necessary advice and we finally opted for going for 8 days including Hiking in Kili before going to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengiti safaris.
I highly recommend this agency and the following team: Mike as a Cook Chief and Timoth as a guide and driver. Both have a significant experience.
Jalala welcomed us warmly and provided us with all necessary equipment and advice while the team ensured we enjoy nice and great moments during the safaris.
For those going to Zanzibar after Safaris, I highly recommend to go directly from Serengiti.
