Very reliable and high level of customer service
5/5

The tour itself was very well arranged. The team of guides/porters is very experienced and carry a high level of customer service. (To be honest: This surprised me a lot!) The over-all communication was fast and questions where clearly answered. I would recommend Kilimanjaro Bound to people who prefer to deal with, and support, a local company with a team of mountain enthusiasts.

Fantastic self drive holiday in Namibia and Botswana!
5/5

We had previously used this company for a self drive holiday in Namibia and knew just how good our latest trip would be. We were not disappointed, as expected the accommodation was fantastic, the scenery breath taking and the people unbelievably friendly. For anyone planning a trip in any of the countries covered by this company, we would suggest you stop looking for alternatives and use them! We had some issues with one of the lodges and on our return these were dealt with comprehensively and to more than our full satisfaction. That said even these issues could not detract from the holiday of a lifetime. Thank you all so much!

Excellent guide and service made our safari memorable
5/5

We could not have asked for a better safari guide than Armand from Wild Wings. He was attentive, good humoured and engaged at all times, as well as being knowledgeable about the animals, birds, plants and everything else we asked about. Armand is clearly passionate about his work, and committed to pleasing his clients. When some of our fellow tourists, who had their hearts set on seeing a lion, missed a sighting due to a cancelled flight, he made every effort to find another, and was openly delighted when he succeeded. When it was just the two of us, he adapted to what we wanted, for example he was happy to stop longer to watch birds.
We also liked having a separate chef to cook for the group. The food was excellent - something which couldn't have been achieved by a safari guide who had just spent a full day on the road, as some safari companies require. It was great to have dishes with a South African flavour.
Setting everything up by e-mail is not always easy, but once we arrived in Africa we were very happy with how our tour was organised, both in Kruger and beyond. The accommodation was more than comfortable and matched what we expected. All the timings worked out, and the range of different safaris provided a good contrast. The bush walk organised by the national park was disappointing, because the rangers were not especially interested, but their night-time safari at Satara was excellent. The WW recommendation to visit the Chobe River in Botswana proved to be exactly right.

Well-planned 4-day safari through Tanzania's Tarangire, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro national parks.
5/5

Fantastic four-days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro! Perfect, on time service. The accommodations were superb and my driver/guide, Sarima, knew exactly where the Big Five might be and were! I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied. Absolutely a five-star adventure! Look no further. Highly recommended!

A once in a lifetime experience, to tick off "No.1" on my bucketlist.
5/5

Experience Uganda was fantastic in all aspects of a Tour Company. Kevin rang me in Australia after my inquiry, relaying what I wanted to do in Uganda.
Trekking Silverback Gorillas in Bwindi Forest had been "No.1'' on my bucketlist for many decades.
He quicly put tgether a great Itinerary, that included staying at a Volcanic Lake resort, Trekking the Gorillas, organising accomadation at a beautiful guesthose close to Entebbe airport called Karibu, transported us to Jinja and back so we could experience Wildwaters Resort and rafting on the Victoria Nile. His staff were awseome and nothing was any trouble with Brett explaining our trek prior to departure with great advice.
I wish we had longer to explore Uganda, as I am sure Kevin and "Experience Uganda" could have planned more fantastic experiences.

Now back to my bucket list.......

Fantastic trip with a very friendly and knowledgeable driver (9 Days Magical Kenya)
5/5

We booked the 9 Days Magical Kenya trip with Beacon Safaris in July 2018 and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We spent time in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Navasha, Amboseli and Tsavo West and Tsavo East and enjoyed every single one of these beautiful places.

The accommodations chosen by Beacon Safaris were excellent. Especially the Kilaguni Lodge in Tsavo West, with the waterhole being visible from the restaurant and bar was a truly magical place. The food was always excellent.

We had the pleasure of having Eric as our guide, whom we also found to be an excellent driver – we always felt very safe. Eric clearly is very knowledgeable and didn’t tire to answer our countless questions, and was generally a very pleasant and friendly person to be around.

The only minor complaint we have was that the boat safari on Lake Navasha turned out to be an optional activity and not included in the package. The price didn’t matter much, in the overall scheme of things, but we had specifically chosen Beacon Safaris because their itineraries didn’t feature optional activities – we had wanted to know exactly how much we’d end up spending for exactly which activities and game drives.

Fantastic Chimp and Gorilla Trekking experience
5/5

We booked the 5-days combined Chimp and Gorilla Trekking Experience with Devine Safaris in July 2018 and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
The trip consists of 3 days spend mostly travelling (cannot be avoided, given how far Entebbe, the Bwindi NP and the Kibale NP are located apart), a day of gorilla trekking, half a day of chimp trekking and half a day of a swamp and a community walk. The long travel times are made much more bearable by the beautiful scenery – especially when driving through the Queen Elizabeth nation park, where we were lucky enough to spot quite a few elephants up close.
We found all experiences to be excellent and enjoyable. Even though we mostly booked the trip for the unforgettable chimp and gorilla trekkings, we were very positively surprised by the swamp and the community walks as well.
The accommodations chosen by Devine Safaris were excellent. Especially the Isunga Lodge near Kibale was one of the most memorable places we ever slept at. The food was delicious as well.
We had the pleasure of being chauffeured by William, whom we found to be an excellent driver – we always felt very safe. William was also very knowledgeable thanks to his long track record as a Safari guide and generally a very pleasant person to be around. There was always time along the way to gather some snacks – preferably fresh fruits from the markets.
Going back, the only thing we might do differently is book a longer trip, to also see some other parts of Uganda and tilt the balance between time spend on the road and time spend in the forests.
