Wild kingdom Safari!
I was excited when picked from the hotel in Nairobi. It was a solo trip so I was the only traveler on this excursion. Kudos to Safari Update Travels for honoring the booking - thank you! The driver Peter was excellent, the accommodation was way out of my expectations, the park was just brilliant. I selected this 2 day itinerary due to a very strict budget on my part - and it was definitely two days well spent - 3 days would have been better! Make your next booking with Safari Update Travels.

Reliable, knowledgeable, capable and affable!
I have had the good fortune of being guided and driven by George Mbaula of Inland Africa Explorers twice now, both times in the capacity of joint photography-expedition leader, and I can honestly say it’s hard to think of what could be better in their planning and service! They are simply the best people, totally in touch with the field realities, with years and years in the bush, to handle your dream Tanzanian vacation or photo tour in the Serengeti Ecosystem.
On both my visits I was assisted expertly by them to plan the itinerary to optimise our time in the various locations. All local bookings were made by them in perfect consonance with our needs, and there was absolutely no hassle or last-minute surprises. Right from meet-and-greet to the moment of departure, their naturalist team was the epitome of punctuality, cordiality and professionalism. And best of all, they have a clear understanding of a photographer’s needs, which are the most demanding of any visitor’s, because it means early starts, perfect vehicle positioning and long hours in the field, all of which George’s team carried out cheerfully, with never a no and always a smile on their lips. Their unending energy and enthusiasm to keep toiling all day for the benefit of their guests with unending patience is truly exemplary. What’s more, they’d even clean the safari vehicles at lunchtime, while the guests took a breather!
All this is topped by their intimate knowledge of the bush and its wildlife, and passion for showing it to tourists and saving it for posterity.
I could go on but in the interest of brevity, I will sign off by saying that some of my fondest days in Africa have been spent in Ndutu, being taken around by George and his team amid the animals you can be sure they love as much as I ever could, and unwinding in the evenings with a beer reflecting on what a wonderful world it indeed is.

Amazing wildlife experience
The park was extremely amazing, I saw a lot of wildlife, all of the Big 5 including two prides of lions. Our guide James was very knowledgeable about the animals, Amboseli park and Kenya at large which made the game drives interesting. He has a sharp eye that is why he was able to spot and point out so many different animals which made the safari even better. Linsel who works at Safari Update Travels was very resourceful in making my booking a success. The Amboseli Sopa Lodge was brilliant and ecofriendly - the staff were friendly and service was top notch, location was perfect, we ate our breakfast with breathtaking scenes of Kilimanjaro in the background! I highly recommend Safari Update Travels.

Game drive to remember!
My friends and I embarked on an adventure trip to Masai Mara with Simon as our tour guide under Safari Update Travels.
We started our journey to Masai Mara, camping at Enkorok Mara Camp we were welcomed with Maasai warriors "Morans". After checking in our rooms and refreshing ourselves we went for an evening game drive.
The site of the great tembo "elephant" welcomed us while driving. Immediately after we were able to see the tano bora "best five cheetahs" as they were pursuing their prey.
The drive ended later in the evening and we went back to our camp. The following day early in the morning we went back in search of the great simba "lion" luckily through the skilled efforts of our tour guide we were able to find a pride of lions. Simon is more than a common tour guide because we were able to get authentic safari experience and the best shots of the animals.
Masai Mara adventure is thrilling, wonderful views of the Mkapa hills and Sopa hills. In order to get a full experience of Masai Mara I advice to book with Safari Update Travels and if possible request for Simon as your tour guide.

Fantastic tour, amazing staff
We booked a tour of Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro with 7wonders through another company in Kenya. The Kenyan company were pretty useless with communication & details, but Evelyn at 7wonders was amazing. She picked up the pieces and organised the left-out details. She deserves heaps of praise. Prompt communication, with kindness, understanding & humour. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Our driver/guide Nestory was also superb. He was a great game-spotter and had good knowledge of birds too. We would not have seen such amazing wildlife without his knowledge & telescopic vision!
Chef Steve was excellent.....how do you put together so many great meals with such basic tools???

Warm and friendly Guide willing to do whatever was most important to us
Thomas was Great in setting up visits with the wild dogs and rhinos in Mkomazi. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. Wonderful visit to the park where are we saw lesser kudu and oryx as we had hoped. Great trip!

Amazing
The tour was very well organised from the flights going to Mombasa and sgr 1st class going back to Nairobi.
Communication was excellent. We were a party of 22 people adults and children the booking was done with alot of ease. We were picked up and dropped on time.
Overall experience from all of us was very good and we plan to make bookings again soon.
