Our driver Mansoor was an excellent guide, very informative and friendly, felt very safe with him.

An amazing experience would not have missed it for the world.
Jockey tours organized a very nice 3 day safari for us in Masai Mara. The communication went very smoothly. We were picked up at our airbnb and brought to the group we were traveling with. James (our tourguide) went above and beyond to show us all the beautiful animals in the reserve. He made sure everybody had a good time. We definitely recommend to book with jocky tours, it is good value for your money. They are reliable and will make sure you have a wonderful time. For example: we decided in Masai Mara we were not going back to Nairobi but going to naivasha instead. Our tourguide arranged a taxi driver to get us there for a very reasonable price.

Perfect from planning, to arrival, to driving, to guiding, to chatting, to lodges. Perfection.
We organised a 3 days safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorongoro) with Zohar with the amazing Tom as a guide.
The trip was truly perfect, from the initial contacts (very quick to reply, with detailed answers) in which they were friendly, quick and open to whatever small changes we wanted to make. They organised a domestic flight for us and Tom was waiting for us at the airport.
During the safari the guide was making sure we were happy with whatever we were doing, and let us choose most of the itineraries and times. He talked us through their cultures and habits, but left us time and silence when we needed it.
Finally, for his 15-years experience, he always got us the best spots for taking photos!
Truly wonderful experience, would highly recommend with no hesitation. Also the choices of lodges were amazing, fantastic spots for relaxing in the nature.

I had Moses as my operator for the first part of a five day safari (Maasai Mara National Park and Lake Nakuru). Moses is outgoing, friendly, knows everything about the animals, but most importantly he is clearly an experienced driver. Even when several safari trucks would be crowded around an animal, he was an expert at navigating the truck to get us a good viewing spot. He was also very patient - if you wanted to stay a moment longer viewing an animal or stop to take a photo of the smallest bird or lizard, he was always willing to wait for us. I felt very safe driving with him despite the bumpy roads in Maasai Mara, and we saw all 5 of the Big Five in Maasai Mara with Moses, so he will probably bring you good luck on your safari!

Great Safari with African Traces!!
We contact Marko Mtui from African Traces about a month and a half before our trip to Tanzania in order to book ourself a safari trip. Marko was very communicative and answered all our questions and wonderings.
We checked a few Safari operators in Tanzania and decided to go with African Traces (which had the best "value for money" proposal and a lot of great reviews), and we couldn't choose better!
From the moment we land in the Kilimanjaro airport Marko and his team helped us in everything we needed - took us to ATM whenever we needed, helped us get ourselves a local Sim, arrange great day trips and book us the accommodation in Moshi (in a lower price than we saw online).
We went on a 6 days safari trip which was tailored made to our preferences and the sighting we wish to see (and we saw!!). The Safari was an amazing experience and meet all our expectations and more.
All 6 days were well organized and everything worked according to the plan we had, we got to visit 4 national parks and saw a wide variety of animals.
the accommodations were great and were chosen to meet our budget, the vehicle was in great shape, spacious and well equipment.
While we were in the Safari Marko kept in touch with us and made sure everything is ok.
Daniel, our guide, was very knowledgeable and we were constantly amazed by the amount of knowledge he has about the wildlife.
Daniel is great with spotting wildlife and forecasting the scenario, which lead us to view some amazing sightings. We were very pleased to have him as our guide, and he was constantly interested in what we would like to see and accommodate the Game Drive accordingly.
We were also lucky to see the great migration while the herds of wildebeest crossed the Mara river (more than once!!) and it was a lot thanks to Daniel's patience and familiarity of the place.
I highly recommend using African Traces as your Safari operator.
You won't regret it!

I had Dixton as a driver for the final segment of a 5 day safari (the Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate). He was fantastic! He is clearly organized and good at managing ever-evolving logistics. I felt like I was in good hands for this segement of the safari - he was very friendly, had all the answers to our questions about Kenya, the wildlife, etc. He was always willing to make a quick stop to pick up more water and was a safe driver. Anyone who has Dixton as their driver can be assured they will have a comfortable and fun experience. I would be happy to have Dixton as my driver again.

Best Company
We spent 4 days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I have to admit we might have been a bit lucky, but we literally saw everything just within the first day -> 3 lionesses killing a buffalo, crocodiles eating a dead hippo, pride of lions with 7 cubs walking a playing right next to our car and so much more... Really amazing experience made even better by our knowledgeable guide Charles. Highly recommended.
