Very safe and nice place to have Safari. A little tiring because a lot of off road and cold in the morning. But really nice.

Perfect Bucket List Trip
5/5

This was a bucket list trip with the entire family; it could not have been better. We spent 3 weeks of the most enjoyable travel for us who are widely traveled throughout the world over many years. All arrangements were made by Wild Wings, airport pickups, lodges and associated safaris, transfers between lodges and a terrific guide who at the end of our safari portion enthralled us with Cape Town, the western Cape, both inland and coastal the Garden Route from Cape Town to Knysna. Everyone selected by Clare at Wild Wings was aware and responsive to my need to use crutches thanks to her selecting arrangements that permitted me to enjoy every moment of our time in South Africa. Our guides made special effort to accommodate me and show us sights and places during road journeys of which we were totally unaware! I, and everyone in the family will recommend Wild Wings without reservation.

About: Safarihub
awesome
5/5

I recently climbed Kilimanjaro with some friends. We had an absolutely amazing experience. The guides and porters really made our summit experience possible. Sfhub management through to their staff were excellent. We also experienced a Safari with them and had a wonderful experience there too.

A great way to experience your safari holiday, from preparation until your return home
5/5

Our group of 6 friends was very pleased with choosing African Savanna Travel to arrange our safari trip in the Krüger park. Next to arranging an amazing lodge for us which we would have never found ourselves, both our transfers from and to Johannesburg were booked via the agency.

First of all, African Savanna Travel has contacts with a lot of different lodges. This makes it possible for them to really take your wishes and needs into account, such as group size and budget. Our contact person Tanja Joubert proposed different options of which we chose a very nice lodge. Secondly, Tanja arranged our transport from Johannesburg to the Krügerpark and back. She was also very helpful when our transport needed to be changed.

All in all, we would definitely recommend to book your safari through African Savanna Travel!

We wanted a once in a lifetime safari. Rose made our dream come true!
5/5

Just returned from a family trip in Tanzania. We do not have enough strong words to thank Rose for this fabulous experience! It was our first safari and we wanted a once in a lifetime trip. Rose has been amazing. She understood what we were looking for from the very beginning and organized a tailor-made trip that exceeded our expectations (and they were VERY high!) . And she has been reactive and available 7/7, 24/24 even for small questions all the tIme. Thank you again Rose for taking such good care of us . We will remember this trip forever . Everything was perfect . Can't wait for you to organize a new safari for us!

Very professional company
5/5

Amahoro tours organised our 4x4 transport from Musanze when we went gorilla trekking and when we visited Dian Fossey's tomb.

We received great service from the drivers and especially from the manager Onesmus, who was very professional and helpful. He even kindly offered us some coffee whilst we waited for the rain to stop when we went to book the transport.

Exceptional experience in the wild Mana ¨Pools with excellent and safe guiding and services
5/5

Very efficient and responsive back-office. Amazing experience of a 4 days canoeing trip on the almighty Zambezi. Extremely good and safe guiding with 2 rangers for our family of 5 ( with children aged 19, 17 and 14). Simple but comfortable accomodation in tents. Great staff and excellent food. We loved the diversity of canoeing, walking and driving, all with the same team.

Literally breath taking
5/5

After scouring the internet for a tour company that was regarded as high quality, safe, respected its porters and local to Tanzania, we came across Barafu Tours. Seven other climbers and I took a leap of faith and contacted this small company to find out more information. We received rapid and detailed responses from the director of the company, Chance. We had already completed extensive research related to the risks of the climb, the gear needed, the available routes and what to expect and felt pretty clued up. However the advise and guidance from Chance was invaluable to anything we found on the internet. No question was too small (or silly) for him to answer. After bombarding Chance with questions and realising just how flexible and accommodating he was willing to be, we booked with Barafu; best decision ever

As soon as we arrived in Tanzania we were picked up by Barafu, which Chance had arranged for us. Alex, the driver who picked us up was completely friendly and gave us a warm welcome, he even taught us our first Swahili words on the way to the hotel. The hotel we stayed at has a contract with Barafu tours and is amazing. It is called the Kilimanjaro Wonders hotel and I would highly recommend it. It is more than comfortable, offers lovely views and the staff were exceptional. They didn't just help us with everything but were warm and friendly too.

After the first night in the hotel, we met up with Chance the next morning, he was just as friendly and helpful in person as we'd imagined. He introduced us to our team that were to take us up the mountain. We had three guides; Mohamed, Dula and Amidayus, they were high spirited, knowledgeably and completely professional and were a huge factor in making our trip so memorable. Dula knew everything about the mountain, including all fauna and flora and was happy to point it out along the way. Amidayus taught us some great Swahili and didn't mind our terrible pronunciation too much and Mohamed ensured we were safe at all times. By the end of the trip it felt like we were saying bye to friends.

As well as our amazing guides, we met our cook, Abbas, the stomach engineer and our waiter-Pray. The food on the trip was amazing-especially the soups. You have to expect your appetite to drop as you go up the mountain, however the quality of the food made you want to eat. Pray the waiter had to be one of the highlights for me. Nothing was ever too much for him and by the end of the first two days im pretty sure he had a nickname for every one in our group. The one day i didn't feel too great he was continually checking I was ok and raising our spirits with songs. Finally, we are not to forget the 23 porters that made the climb with us. Never have I had so much respect for anyone. They happily carried around 25kg each up the mountain and offered to carry our day packs too if we were struggling :O. They always had a smile and the welcome song they gave us at Barranco camp was nothing less than amazing.

Thanks to this amazing team, all 7 of us successfully reached the summit and have memories I'm sure we won't forget.

After a short break we carried on with Barafu tours on a 2 day safari with our tour guide Richard. Richard again was highly knowledgeable about the national parks and the animals within it. After only half an hour into our safari we saw almost all the animals we had wanted to see, which was mind blowing. Richard managed to get us up close and we had some amazing views. In fact the views were almost as good as the animals themselves.
The safari van itself was extremely comfortable and offered a new experience of driving altogether.

If I could go back and do it all again with this company I would.

Ice team!

Amazing experience, with an eye for detail to make your journey as good as possible.
5/5

Booking a safari can be quite difficult, therefore I would like to start by telling the communication was fast, correct and anything was up for discussion. Pickup is included in the price from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport, which is a big plus. Also, the night before departure and night of return are included in the price, sleeping in the Arusha tourist in, a very Nice and clean hotel in Arusha city with surpisingly good good and accommodation. The safari itself is all you would expect, we did tarangire, Serengeti and ngorongoro in a camping budget formula. We had the luck of sharing the car with a couple of similar age (25-28), which the company keeps in consideration they told us. This also is a Nice plus in making the safari as pleasant as possible. the camping was basic but very exciting (Elephants walking through, hyena's at night,...) But never felt unsafe. The good was outstanding, every group has a chef who travels from campsite to campsite and prepared more than recent Meals (fresh pizza, roasted chicken, fresh vegetables, etc..) the combination of seeing more animals then i can remember, having a great young guide and chef (Hillary and Salim!), Good Company and a professional organisation who did literally everything to make the trip superb (including asking our opinions, wishes,..) made this the trip exceeding my expectations. Can highly recommend! Thanks again Hillary too, i guess a lot depends in the guide and how far they are Willing to go for you. Hope this review helps the organisation, as Well as People trying to book a safari! Matthias, Antwerp, Belgium.
