Truely wonderful
5/5

My partner and I want on Safari with Kenya Tru Nomads in October 2016.
We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend it.

We customized our Safari, which was no problem at all, and spend 4 days on the Seychelles 8 days in central and northern Kenya and 5 days on Zanzibar. Even little hick-ups got solved fast and without any problems or stress. For example as we landed we arrived at a different terminal as expected but the airport had people there immediately calling our guide and we got picked up right away. Kenya seems to be very organized when it comes to tourism and they seem very much on top of things concerning tourism overall.
We went during off season and were lucky so that it was just us and our guide George driving through Kenya. George was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of our trip.

Wonderful 5 Day Gorilla and Chimpanzee Experience
5/5

Brian and Darlius from Engagi Safari took great care of my friend and me. Overall we hand a breathtaking experience and loved to get close to the chimpanzees and the gorillas. Even that close that some of them run away as they saw our cameras. The second lodge at lake Bunyonyi which Roboert family owns was just unbelievable. They have been wonderful host. We have been treated like the kings, especially when my friend got sick on our trip.

Before the trip the communication via e-mail was prefect and we had a lot of questions that several people from Engagi answered us promptly. Overall Brian and Darlius where driving us around and explained all the different places and historical sights. They were safe drivers and even interested in our culture – so try and get to know them while they are taking care of you. With Robert and his staff, it is like having family around in a foreign country. Hope to see you again sometime in the future!

Great Experience
5/5

A great agent called Brian was personable and went over and above to get us the best deal and made the process seamless. It was a great experience booking with GoExplore Safaris; they are efficient, stress free & prompt. Perfect company to deal with, they listen & they deliver.

Great Safary, poor organization
4/5

Our overall experiencie was pretty good because we could see tons of animals and the big 5 but there where things about the company that didn't work well:

In the website offers it's said that they do the game drives with 4x4 vehicles and a picture of a "jeep" appears, but when we asked in the office they said that they only have pop-up roof minivans and they had to speak with safaribookings to change it. For the moment, they didn't...

We where supposed to sleep in a guesthouse in lake nakuru that was surrounded by nature but they said we could sleep in an upgraded place so we accepted and it turned out to be a hotel in nearest town, which for us was a "downgrade".

We also had to change our guide/driver on our way fron Nakuru to Masai Mara. This is not a problem but it was strange. It was even stranger that the second guide we had to meet was suposed to be "Paul" and it was "David" without informing.

David was great but he knew nothing about our itinerary and he asked us what was it. He had to call the company a couple times to solve his questions.

To end, the day before we left, our car had a problem in the engine inside the Masai Mara and we had to leave the park stopping every 5 minutes. The next day, we had to wait until the engine was fixed to leave to Nairobi.

Madikwe Safari - all you could ever want and more!
4/5

We just arrived back from SA yesterday and all in our group agreed we had a great time on the Madikwe safari. Transfers to and from the lodge were punctual and comfortable and the driver was careful, cheerful, knowledgeable about SA, and happily answered all our questions throughout the 4 hour drive! The lodge too, Bush House, was very comfortable - a real oasis in the desert. The food was good and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and attentive. One of our group celebrated a birthday while we were there and was thrilled by all the surprises they provided on her special day. The waterhole and hide at the lodge were a real bonus, providing great animal viewing between game drives and fabulous photo opportunities as well. The game drives themselves offered up almost everything there was to see in Africa - lions, cheetah, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, wild dogs, eland, oryx, impala, kudu, hyena ...and more. Furthermore, our guides Stuart and Michael were both really friendly and a wealth of information.

Andre, thanks so much for your arrangements - we will be recommending both Safari With Us and Madikwe to any friends who want to safari in SA in the future.

A Tremendous Experience
5/5

In August 2013, my wife and I enjoyed a 13 day journey with Regional Tours and Safaris, which I would highly Recommend. We travelled from Arusha to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro to the Central and North Serengeti and then flew from Arusha to Zanzibar and after a day in Stonetown stayed at the Zanzibar Retreat hotel in Matemwe. It was the best vacation of our lives. Maturaf (in Zanzibar) and Alex (in Arusha office) were very helpful and all of the pickups and arrangements worked perfectly. Our guide Amani was a lovely man, a great driver and had remarkable vision and knowledge for viewing wildlife. We saw incredible numbers of zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and lions and the odd leopard and cheetah. The accommodation was very comfortable and at times luxurious even in the bush of the north Serengeti. We would recommend that rather than backtracking by road to Arusha or Zanzibar, that you fly from the Seregeti and thereby save a day or two and a lot of mileage. Matemwe beach was a long white powder beach that seemed deserted at times and was great for long walks and swimming at high tide with great snorkling/scuba diving nearby. Regional Tours was priced reasonably compared to other companies who used the same land cruisers, provided the same food and accommodation and covered the same routes. I would highly recommend them.

5***** Safari!!
5/5

We've just arrived from the most amazing holidays ever: our first safari!!!
We prepared our game drives and accommodation with Soul of Tanzania that went far and beyond to meet our expectations. In our own jeep (with just me and my husband) and with a great guide - thank you Rahim! - we were able to see the big five and so many more!
Tarangire was overwhelming, Ngorongoro left us in awe and the Serengeti... well... there are no words to express how excited we were! Food was good (Soul of Tanzania prepared hot meals for us. All other tourists had packed sandwiches!) and the lodges we chose were fine. I must highlight the Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge, inside the Serengeti park. Having a glass of champagne on the middle of the park, while the hyenas were walking around and a mongoose just passed under our room was an unforgettable experience!!
In the end, I and my husband left Tanzania with just one thought in our minds: to return ASAP!
