If you are not from sub-saharan Africa, there's nothing like a South African safari for you and South Africa certainly has plenty of opportunity for you to experience these. There is no feeling that you need to keep an eye on your wallet at these game preserves. You'll enjoy the company of everyone you'll meet once at the preserve, and you'll have that once in a lifetime, dream experience. You'll be IN the African Bush.

Very friendly and diverse cultural vibe. Climate and plant-life also eerily similar to San Francisco-area so as soon as I arrived I felt like I was home.

Review about Mala Mala Game Reserve by Carl (AKA TwinMountain)
Overall rating
5/5

It's only by comparison to Mala Mala that I would rate the other game reserves I visited less than five stars across the board. I would guess that Mala Mala is the ultimate in luxurious, African Bush safaris. Not only are the accommodations luxurious and the meals terrific but Mala Mala has no fences. It's HUGE expanse of property runs right into Kruger park and other unfenced game preserves so the wildlife moves freely and you never know what you'll see on any given day. I spent three days at Mala Mala, I hated to leave and I wish I could be there right now.

Incredible; accommodations fantastic and diverse, beautiful, and healthy wildlife on every drive.

Pilanesberg in situated in an ancient volcanic caldera and is surrounded by beautiful hills covered in mixed grassland and woodland. The game drives never disappointed; we saw a diverse range of animals including rhinos, elephants, hyena, ostrich, lions, zebras, kudu, hippo and wildebeest, with many animals being seen multiple times. Food was great, as were the accommodations. Great range of birds too - although our game drives were pretty focused on large mammal viewing, perhaps if your group specifies an interest in birds the guides can accommodate your preferences (I did not try this). Otherwise, there is an underground viewing platform at a water source that was never crowded, and I birded alot using this site. We also were lucky enough to see a secretary bird out on a game drive, that was a treat!

Review about Kenya Expresso Tours and Safaris by Wajahat Mahmood
5/5

We took one night Safari at Maasai Mara with Balloon Safari after reading the reviews at Trip Advisor. KET really deserves to be #1 Safari management company! We really tasted the meaning of Customer Delight as we were offered many services without negotiations!

1. Firstly we had a handsome discount from Paul as we referred another family to KET.
2. Then we were offered a special game drive though we paid for one only, and eventually we had more than just two game drives.
3. Then the Guide name Lucky was really helpful and he even took us to Mara Triangle and Mara River which was not included in the package. Due to his efforts we could see the early Wildebeest migration from Kenya to Tanzania due to heavy rains there.
4. We were even taken to Keekorok Hotel and its lake which was not asked by us during the booking.
5. And above all, we were given free ride from Maasai Mara to Nairobi through Safarilink Cessna though we only paid for driving back for 4 hours to Nairobi. Paul even paid us the taxi fare which we had to pay from Nairobi Airport to our residence.
6. The Sentrim Lodge arranged by them was really very comfortable

I really recommend Kenya Expresso Tours and Safaris to all who want to have a real taste of African Safari adventure!

The abundance of wildlife, great scenery and good accommodation. It was extremely rare that we saw other safari jeeps.

Kenya is heavily dependent upon earning from Safari, so they really have concentrated their focus to develop the reserves and making a world class tourism experience

The safari drives were very good, with zebra, wildebeest, elephant, hippo, flamingo, topi, crowned crane, bateleur eagle, kori bustard, hyena, augur buzzard, water buffalo and a very fat lioness with her recent kill. We were also lucky enough to catch a rare glimpse of a black rhino.
