My seven-day tour was incredible.
5/5

My first interactions with Gorilla Tours were very easy. They communicated clearly and gave me a full itinerary of my trip. My guide Charles picked me up from my hotel and was great for the full duration of the trip. He really made the entire experience great. I went on a seven-day drip and saw four national parks, including Bwindi. Seeing the gorillas was the highlight of my trip, but the rest of the experiences were great as well.

Exploring the Beauty of Uganda
5/5

We worked with Chris at Encounter Africa. He responded immediately to our initial request for information, listened carefully to our interests, suggested supplemental activities, and designed our final itinerary that exceeded our expectations. In the planning stages, Chris was extremely responsive to our questions, often replying to emails within an hour. When needed, he offered several options to address our concerns. In the end, we had a customized itinerary that showcased the beauty of Uganda. Our tour guides/drivers (Martin and Tolbert) were professional, informed, and friendly, and made decisions that optimized our experiences. For example, when observing the chimps in Kabale, rather than attempting to join early morning trekking groups, they suggested we wait and join the late morning/early afternoon groups; as a result, we were able to see the chimps on the ground (as opposed to in the trees) and to spend time with them up close. In another instance, Martin and Tolbert located and drove us to observe a few lions. When we arrived, there were close to a dozen other vehicles there with visitors enjoying the view. It was amazing and after a bit, the other cars left, but Martin and Tolbert stayed sensing that something might happen. They were right; the "few" lions ended up being an entire pride of around 10 lions (including cubs), and they were stalking a nearby group of water buffalo. The ensuing encounter was exciting and unforgettable. We enjoyed other adventures (e.g., mountain gorillas, white water rafting on the Nile), and by the end of our 12 days on the road, Martin and Tolbert were like family.

10 days trip for Kenya & Tanzania
5/5

Jacqueline is very helpful, she gave us many good advices to arrange this 10 days safari trip. She even help to arrange the additional boarder crossing for my parents. We are very lucky to find them to be our safari agent. Our 10 days safari trip was amazing, we saw not only the Africa big 5, but also the black rhino, which is very rarely to be seen.
I really recommend the safari tour with Brush troop and Jacqueline.

Good Earth provided exactly the type safari we sought and we had an amazing and wonderful experience
5/5

My husband, grandson and I wanted to use a local company for our Tanzanian safari and after researching options on Trip Advisor, we settled on Good Earth Tours and Safaris. I’m grateful that we did. Good Earth provided exactly the type of safari we sought and we had a most amazing and wonderful experience. We were able to completely customize our itinerary, so we stayed exactly the amount of time we wished in each of the four national parks we visited and were able to choose our accommodations in each of the locations (2 tented camps and 2 lodges). Our stellar guide/driver was perfect – professional, experienced, reliable and hospitable. The four of us in his Land Cruiser were a team for the duration of the safari, he handled everything perfectly and his knowledge was truly encyclopedic. Our grandson commented more than once that we never asked him a question that he didn’t know the answer. He always guided us to terrific photo locations and arranged the schedule so that we were there at the right time for the best light. The beautiful trip pictures we have are in large part because of him. Our trip truly was perfect for us and our gratitude is boundless to all the Good Earth staff involved with it. This experience always will be one of the jewels in our travel crown.

Johnnie & team took us to Croc Valley and Cape Maclear - very reliable, very good driving,
5/5

We booked accommodation in Croc Valley, South Luangwa, Zambia and in Cape Maclear, Lake Malawi. We flew in to Lilongwe and needed road transfers to South Luangwa and Cape Maclear. The game lodge recommended Misuku Expeditions. I booked the transfers by email (from South Africa) and the correspondence with Johnnie was very efficient. We were 6 friends and were accommodated in a mini-van. Punctuality was very good. Johnnie & his team are responsible drivers and we felt safe travelling with them. He also made the border crossing easy for us, explaining the procedures at the Malawi and Zambia border posts. Their part in our holiday made a big contribution in the very special time we enjoyed at both South Luangwa and Cape Maclear. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing to arrange long distance transport between Malawi and Zambia. The cost was reasonable.

Amazing Kenya.
5/5

We really enjoyed our time in Kenya and hope to be back sometime soon. Kenya is stunning. The parks, hotels and the overall safari experience was amazing. We enjoyed the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to us by everyone we met. It made our trip really special.

Our overall experience with Beacon safari was outstanding. Robert, the owner, was very helpful with planning the trip to our specifications. He was prompt with emails and was patient with all the questions I had. Our itinerary included Samburu, the great rift valley and it's beautiful lakes and Maasai Mara. Antony was our guide for the trip.

Antony's a good guide and tried his best to show us the big 5, which we were lucky to find. He was polite and friendly and had no major issues with him.

Excellent trip planning and support
5/5

We planned a trip for a group of 8 to southern Africa with Darren and team. Organizing an itinerary that worked given lodge and flight availability was a big effort and we really appreciated the support they provided us to make our trip successful. They also provided very good information at every step of the process from choosing lodging to entry requirements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for friends and family to use in the future.

Worry-free gorilla viewing safari!
5/5

Organized tour operator; they arranged safe transportation from where we were staying (an island in Uganda) to the mountains to see the gorillas. We were accompanied with Fred, our friendly soft-spoken guide, on the drive and through the village at the mountain base up to gorilla "headquarters" and driven back afterwards to another town for lunch and to meet the rest of our party. Smooth and worry-free. Would highly recommend. (Also, the mountain gorillas are obviously AMAZING and an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives!)

Megan was fabulous & so patient in customizing our trip to do EXACTLY what we wanted affordably!
5/5

The communication was excellent - we put in our questions each evening and had our answers the following morning. We went back & forth on what we wanted to do and what we could afford. Megan managed to squeeze in everything we wanted to do and even helped us find a cooking class in Johannesburg that she had attended. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. All the safaris (we went to 4 different safaris - 2 in both in Kruger and Chobe) were amazing. We managed to see the BIG five and much, much more. The accommodations were fabulous and all the guides and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We thought this trip to Africa would take it off our bucket list but while in Africa, we got hooked and want to go back - next time to Tanzania + Kenya + Morocco. It would be hard to pick our favorite spot, but our stay in Simon's Town at Simon's guest House had to top the list. Thanks for helping us plan the trip of a lifetime. We look forward to planning another trip with you in the future.
