Arusha National Park is a green paradise
Overall rating
3/5

I have been in Arusha National Park several times, and the park never disappoints me. Of course it depends on what you are looking for. Arusha National Park is not comparable to Serengeti, Tarangire and other parks in Tanzania. But the park is great in its own way. There are, they say no big cats in the park ... but I have actually seen a leopard once crossing the road upp the mountain. The park sits on the eastern slopes of Mt Meru and you can drive upp quite high upp almost beyond the tree limit. Also the park features walking safari and canoeing. The later I have not tested but I can recommend the walking safari. Both in the lowlands walking to a water fall. And upp in the mountain ... (you need a guide with a gun on the walking safari). The park have both rainforests and small grass plains. You will I can almost promise you see buffalo, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck, flamingo, and two different kinds of monkey (not counting baboon) - the blue monkey and the colobus monkey. I do not know about accommodations today. But there are a lot of hotels close to the park. Arusha national Park was one of our usual day trip from where we used to live when I lived in Tanzania. So I really love the park. This time it was also a day trip and it was the first time for me with a safari company - Mlimani Safaris Africa. And I can recommend them to. So my conclusion is. If you are visiting Arusha for other purposes than Safari (business / conferences) and do not have time for a long safari. Arusha National Park is the place to go. If you have been in the other bigger parks and are tired of big plains and dusty roads, but still wants some wildlife and nature experience. This is the place to go. Or if you like the shade of a jungle. Don't miss Arusha National Park.

Amazing Parks in Tanzania
Overall rating
5/5

We visited four parks - Lake Manyara, Nogorongoro crater, Serengeti and migration camp plus Tarangire. As our guide Said from Bush2City told us before hand, and exactly right, each one different and each one with its own magic. I would like to have a favourite spot but they were all wonderful. Simply amazing. Every trip will be different things happening, every day you have moments of magic. Perhaps Tarangire at the end of the trip was the cherry on the cake - An amazing Safari

All I can say, I have lived in Africa for more than 12 years (Burundi 8, Tanzania 4+) but have not seen all of the wildlife in Tanzania. There are a lot of places yet to see. The only down side to a Safari in Tanzania is the price if you are not a citizen ...

Mt Kilimanjaro Trek - Lemosho Route
5/5

I recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with the most fantastic group of people however this would not have been possible without the excellent support of Tanzania Travel Company and the amazing guides and porters. Everything we needed was provided and nothing was any trouble. Richard our leader kept our spirits up and kept us motivated from bottom to top. I would recommend using TTC.

Fantastic Safari
5/5

My family had looked forward to the safari for months. Noah had been very easy to communicate with and responded to emails promptly. Our guide/driver was Eustace. He knew the country and all of the parks that we visited like the back of his hand. He was on a mission to help us located as many animals as possible. We saw 2 male lions, another family of 3 mother lions and 5 cubs, Cape buffalo, cheetahs, zebra, impala, many elephants, rhinos, hippos, about one million wildebeest, and much more. Do the optional hot air balloon ride if at all possible. I would not hesitate to take another safari with Wildebeest safaris!

Incredible trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park
5/5

Communication with Katona Tours & Travel was excellent - they organised a fantastic three day trip, the highlight of which was the safari. The driver and other staff were very friendly and informative; the organisation and logistics of the trip were also very good. Myself and the rest of my team highly enjoyed this trip; Queen Elizabeth National Park is stunning and so I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Thanks Katona!

Tailor Made Safaris brought us beautiful accommodations and a nice program during our stay in SA
5/5

Tailor Made Safaris made us a beautiful tour through the East coast of South Africa, starting in Johannesburg, Drakensbergen, Imfolozi, St Lucia, Kosi Bay, Mozambique, Tembe and Swaziland. All accommodations were beautiful and on beautiful places. A GPS system and a nice travelbook helped us to get where we wanted. We could always rely on the help of our travel assistant during our trip due to the telephone in our travel package. We really enjoyed our tailor made trip.

Excellent prompt support from initial enquiry to the execution of the tour and safari
5/5

Communications - From an initial enquiry,I had a whatapp call from Edward explaining his company and going through some of the tours they can tailor make to our requirements. The plan was changed several times by us to obtain the maximum usage of our time while we were visiting Uganda. Once agreed, we were informed about the progress of the booking. The progress of the booking was managed by Elias. Our driver/guide "dugu" Karim was excellent in planning our requirements. The challenges we gave him were taken care of without any issues and nothing was a problem for him. He took a great care for the whole party throughout the 2 weeks we spent with him. Karim was very knowledgeable and is great guide and fun to be with. We would highly recommend Home to Africa Tours to our friends and family and a big thank you to the whole team who supported us while we were on our travels. Finally it was topped up with an excellent time we had at a charity at Buwenge that is also supported by Home to Africa Tours.

Personal and predictable
5/5

Planning of our trip was personal and allowed us to make changes and decisions ourselves. We were a group of ten; adults and children. We could always call Andrea in All In Tanzania office when we needed to during our vacation.
We could have had three nights in Serengeti instead of two, it is long distances and a lot of driving. Safariguides were ok. They could have taken some more time to look up and at the animals, not drive fast from site to site. The cars were nice, clean and comfortable.
We went several places in Tanzania and Zanzibar and needed transportation. Drivers met us and picked us up on time, in nice comfortable buses and cars. The drivers were helpful and easy to make new plans with if we needed to. We always had very nice accomodation. We stayed in different places; guest house, tent, lodge, hotels and house.
