Magic amidst a pandemic
There are vacations, there are amazing vacations, and then there is an African safari! Exciting, beautiful, colorful, versatile - those are some of many adjectives to describe the experience and the mood. And Keron Safaris & Hotels (Ks&H) was responsible for the fairy-tale every step of the way. But let's start at the beginning.
1. Planning and booking.
Planning this trip was exhausting... for our sales manager Kenny :) The number of change requests from our side was enormous, but Kenny patiently stuck with us till the end and the resulting trip itinerary was all we could ever wish for! Thank you Kenny so much!
The actual booking was pretty straight forward: there are plenty of payment options and even the final documents have been adjusted according to our requirements.
2. Arrival.
Upon our arrival at the Nairobi airport we were picked up and transferred to our first hotel by a very nice guy Pascal, who was very friendly (in fact, it is remarkable, how friendly and lovely people of Kenya are) and helpful. Everything went fast and smooth.
3. Safari.
A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Our expectations were fulfilled by 200%! We've seen the Big Five, Cheetahs, Lions' hunt, White Rhinos, Flamingos, Wild Dogs (a spices on a bridge of extinction which, we were told, had not been seen for the last four years!), beautiful scenery, amazing skylight and so much more! It was magical!
4. Guide/Driver and organization.
Our guide's name is Pascal. He was our friend, our driver, our spotter. It is remarkable how skillful he is in spotting wildlife on great distance, how much exciting trivia he told us about what we've seen, how friendly, helpful and patient he was with us. We were difficult passengers, but Pascal was able to fulfill our every request and even more. Next time we're traveling through Africa, we will do it only with Pascal. Thank you so much my friend!
5. Kenya.
It's such a beautiful and versatile country! The political and economical situation there is far from ideal, but people stay optimistic, open, and friendly. Interesting fact: they seem to be coping with COVID far better than some European countries - we could learn a thing or two from them. The nature is beyond beautiful - it's breathtaking! And Kenyan government does a lot to keep it that way - the measures for protection of the national parks, reservations etc. are impressive! Same goes for the ban on plastic packaging.
6. Summary for KS&H:
- Organization - Kenny - excellent!
- Logistics and communication in Nairobi - Ibrahim - excellent!
- Safari and everything around it - Pascal - excellent! excellent! excellent!
Thank you so much guys! We could not have wished for more!
Love,
From Barbeau and Toussaint

Amazing experience with an amazing guide
We had a perfect experience with this safari tour from day 1.
First it was very convenient to organize our trip, with a dedicated team, very responsive on WhatsApp.
When we arrived in Nairobi, our driver was waiting for us directly so we did not struggle to find anything. And then we started our trip in Kenya.
I want to really thank our driver - Jack - who was very fun, nice and knew everything about the animals. Thanks to him we saw the big 5 the first day of our trip (we were so lucky!!) and many more animals during our safari. He was even able to detect a leopard hidden in the bush!
Thanks again to him and all the team, I definitely recommend this safari trip and Jack our guide

Amboseli 2 Days Wildlife Photography
Visited Amboseli National Park for a 2 day safari with Africa Kenya Safaris for wildlife photography. Was impressed with the vast knowledge of the tour guide, Kim, on matters wildlife. He was very passionate about nature and explained the behavior of wildlife which helped us in our photography.
We would certainly go for another photography tour with Africa Kenya Safaris.

GoExplore Safaris the best African tour operator.
As always, travelling with GoExplore Safaris is an incredible experience. Starting with the warm welcoming at the airport till the end of the trip. The itinerary was created by the GoExplore Safaris staff, there was an easy communication with the team, and they were very fast and helpful during the whole trip. The safari started in Pian Upe NP followed by Kidepo Valley NP moving on to Queen Elisabeth NP driving through the Murchison’s NP finishing with gorilla and golden monkey trackings in Mgahinga NP. During my stay lodges were very accurate to my requisites. As the last time I travelled with them I would 100% recommend their services in African tailored made trips. Thanks to them I had a true African experience with thousands of different animals, communities, flavours and smells.

Professional and Knowledgeable guide leading our safari experience of a Lifetime
Our guide Salehe was such a professional. His knowledge of the animals, cordial relationships with the other tour guides, and ability to seemlessly find the perfect spot to view the 30 or 40 different types of animals all made him a top notch guide. This was my first ever safari, and my expectations were definitely met to the fullest degree. These memories will last a lifetime and I don’t see anyway my first safari experience could have gone better. I attached a few photos here from different days of the safari. There’s no doubt that I highly recommend Lion King Adventures. Thank you Salehe, asante sana!!

Warmest recommendation
We've selected Lion King Adventures as they were the first ones to responed within couple of hours to my initial inquiry. And from that moment up to the end of the Safari it went just better and better. Super easy commmunication, all the accomodation, meals and the safari itself as agreed and on time.
They, both backoffice and the guide, provided super useful information and support lrior and during the Safari.
The safari setup with shorter travelling and time to relax proved to be a great choice as it was really tailored to fully enjoy the safari, not to travel all the time.
A warm recommendation to all, we are a family of 4 and seeing the big 5 (thnx to the guide really pushing strong on Leopards and Rhyno) it was a one of the lifetime experience for kids. The kids are actually pretty sure we've seen and photographed all the animals in Tanzania.
Lion King Adventures is really a super warm recommendation.

Excellent
I had an incredible experience on Lion King's 6-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorogoro Crater.
Everything was well planned and coordinated from the airport pickup, travel schedule, and accommodation arrangements. You don't need to stress about any details!
Over email, Pendo was easy to work with in the lead up to our trip and very thorough.
The star of our trip was our guide, Salehe. He was very kind and highly knowledgeable of all of the animals. We saw all of the big 5, including many animals close up. He always seemed to know just where to go!
I would not hesitate to book your safari with Lion King Adventures and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

The best tour operator we could have wished for
When we were planning our Safari we were unsure which tour operator to chose, read a lot of reviews, searched for some places to stay and finally ended up booking with Tazama Africa Holidays.
We could not have picked a better tour operator!
On our arrival we first discussed our itinerary and then we where off to our wonderful trip. Our guide was Antony, who is also the owner of this business. And he was just absolutely wonderful! From the beginning he made it clear, that we could ask him everything which was a wonderful thing for us to learn so many details about Kenya and the wonderful people living there. When there was even the smallest issue, he immediately took care of it. His top priority was for us to have the best possible experience. For this he really went above and beyond! There were only two things he would even value more: Our safety and his (and our) respect for the animals. We always felt he tried his best to provide us with the best views of the animals, but respected them as well and if one animal wanted to get out of sight, we didn't pursue it, or drove closer, as we saw some other drivers do. We appreciated this a lot!
The tour was carefully planned and made a lot of sense to us. We were able to see all the animals we wished and some more! Antony was also able to answer all our questions concerning the animals and we were able to learn so much about the wildlife. The hotels and camps were all very good and carefully selected. Antony always took care we got the best places/rooms/tents. As I love to take photographs of animals, he was always very concerned about me having good light and gave me plenty of time to take the best shots. Of course we saw the big five (which was very important to him), but he was also always working hard so we could see our favorite animals.
We also met another driver working at his company and he seemed to be very nice as well. That being said, we would always like to go on a trip with Antony! We loved our trip with him and definitely plan on going back to Kenya and doing a Safari with him.
The only thing we regret about our trip to Kenya: Not knowing him beforehand and letting him organize our whole trip! He knows all the best places to stay and best things to do. And if he has some advice, just take it! He is such a genuinely nice and hard working person and really only wants your best for your time in Kenya (or the neighbouring countries)!
