Fantastic Experience with Soul of Tanzania
5/5

We, a group of six people are just back from the dream Safari Trip to Tanzania. This trip was on our mind for a long long time and finally realized. After an extensive research, we decided to take the safari company,”Soul of Tanzania”. And I must say, what a correct decision it was.Everything started falling in place with the selection of the right company.
Soul of Tanzania is a luxury line Safari and they have all the new vehicles.Right from the first email to the pick up from the airport till they drop you to the airport, everything is extremely perfect and no chance of complain arises. They give you the best recommendations of Lodges and Camps and The best of the Drivers cum Guides.Let me name a few of the wonderful people, we came in touch with. They are Iris, Bennedict ,Dominique and Rachel They are thourouly professional and pleasant people. Since we were on the luxury Line, we were served hot meals during the lunch time while in the Safaris. We were the center of envy and attraction by the other tourists when we were served Royally with wines, hot meals in proper settings with table clothes and plates and cutleries. And last but not the least, freshly brewed coffee. I have to write a separate para for the experiences we had and how amazing our guide cum driver was.
Our Safari started with one trilling experience. Our guide, Benedict spotted two cheetahs and took us there. As we were watching them, one cheetah decided to climb on our vehicle and sat on the open roof of the vehicle. We had our heart in our mouth but Ben was so calm and assured us that if we don’t trouble the animal, it will not harm us.The Cheetah had fallen in love with us I guess,so it refused to get down for almost 10 minutes. We got some amazing videos and pictures and Ben managed to pass our camera to the next vehicle to get some shots too. We still can not overcome the thrill of that once in lifetime experience.Due to Ben’s patience and experience of wildlife, we could witness many of such thrilling moments. To name a few, 3 river crossings of wilderbeasts on Mara river, a humongous crocodile gulping the baby wilderbeast while crossing, the gorgerous tuskers of Africa and their cute babies, the mating of Lions and hippos, the hunting of a gazzle and a Zeebra by Lions, A gazzel giving birth to the baby, the majestic girraffs… On the last day of our safari, one lioness brushed pass our safari vehicle early in the morning just outside our lodge. Also we spotted nearly 80 lions.Ben took us to the authentic Masai village to make us understand the traditions. Also he makes amazing coffee and he is a wonderful human being who truly loves his profession.Deeply attached to the wild animals and understands their behavior.
We are sharing some fantastic shots we got.And I really wish,I can go back to Tanzania once again. We would highly recommend to go with ‘Soul of Tanzania” and ofcourse try and request to get Benedict as your tour guide cum driver….

Fantastic organisation and staff
5/5

Our Safari was super organized according to our wishes and the schedule was each time willingly adapted to new ideas. Emma was of great assistance in getting this trip organized, gave very helpful advices, ideas and recommendations and worked out a fantastic trip for me and my 8 year old son. The safari was very diverse as we visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Natron and also had the opportunity to do a bit of hiking in Arusha and Lake Natron. This safari met all our expectations and became a very special experience to both of us. The whole safari was very well organized, the jeep was well maintained and drove us 7 days through the wilderness without any breakdowns, the tents and camping gear were all just fine as well as the campsites we stayed on. A special compliment and thank you goes to José our driver and guide and Pius our cook. Both were very professional, knowledgeable, eager to make this safari a very special trip for both of us and both were always helpful and enthusiastic. Pius attended in an outstanding manner to some diet needs, even though he was not asked to do so. José is a very experienced driver and guide, gave us lots of information about animals, plants the national parks as well as about Tanzania in general and it’s cultures. We learned a lot about his country through many talks we had in the evenings. Thanks to him we got the chance to see many animals we may have missed.
Shemeji Safari & Tours also assisted us in the organization of our ongoing trip to Zanzibar, where also everything was well organized and the schedule worked out perfectly.
I would strongly recommend Emma and the Shemeji Safari & Tours if you plan to organize a trip to Tanzania.

Could not have asked for more!
5/5

I went with my friend to Tanzania - Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in July-Aug. We had Jamal as a driver and our tour guide who was perfect for us. His knowledge on animals and value was something I appreciated. He was always accomodating and allowed us to spend time the way we wanted rather than enforcing us to be on schedule and time. It was my first Safari tour, but not for my friend but i was told how spoilt I was to see 4/5 Big Fives on my first day and completed with my 5th one on my last day. I believe Jamal brought us luck. We were enjoying taking millions of photos and Jamal was making sure we had good view and animals. It was lovely to end our trip by hearing him saying how much he also enjoyed our company that he wanted to travel more and that's exactly how we felt. The expectations of a guide after Jamal became so high for us that we were very disappointed with our guide after him!!

My engagement organising with Selma didn't start off well as i was getting responses. But Miriam helped us through and was really helpful organising our trip and trying to help us with our demand as we wanted all. I must say I loved all the accomodations we had. Esp Tortillias and Ngorongoro Farm House, Tanganyika Wilderness Camp. The best places that I would love to go back again.

Seamlessly amazing adventure crafted by Pembury Tours!!
5/5

Right off the bat, Tammy, with Pembury Tours, was extremely responsive and knowledgeable when planning our trip. She was conscious of our must haves and budget, also offering items we didn't even know you could do.

Upon arriving in Joburg, we were met at the gate by a representative, taken through customs quickly and efficiently then sent off to our first flight to Livingnstone. All legs of our trip happened this smoothly. Accommodations and food were awesome and all tours were incredible!! They did not miss a beat!! We would use them again in a heartbeat! We highly recommend Pembury Tours.

About: 4x4 Uganda
With 4x4 Uganda from Entebbe to Dar Es Salaam, a perfect ride
5/5

We hired a nice Landcruiser from 4x4 Uganda, for 3 weeks, reservations and contract done by internet . The company gave excellent services and helped us with visa and all other information needed. The car was delivered to us in Entebbe at the hotel. We drove through Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania and handed the car over in Dar Es Salaam where the company picked the car. We had the first days in and around Kampala a very good and nice driver, the rest of the 4000 km's we drove ourselves. The car and company were and are very reliable and we had a great time in 3 East African countries.

Top service - efficient, reliable, professional and friendly
5/5

We just came home from a 3 weeks’ trip to Namibia. We went to the Naukluft Parc (Olive trail, Namib dunes), Walvis Bay (Pelican Point), Swakopmund, Spitzkoppe, Opuwo, Epupa Falls, Van Zyl’s pass, Marienfluss, Etosha and Erongo. We travelled on our own with 5 family members (2 adults, 3 “kids” of 20, 18 and 15 years) and two 4x4 cars (as recommended by our travel agent for security reasons when you go to the Van Zyl’s pass and Kaokoveld). We slept in lodges, tents and in our car roof-tents.
It was an unforgettable trip : a real adventure where everything went well – no single problem, a lot of excitement !! No flat tyres although roads were frequently rough. All bookings had been done as announced, food and accommodation were very good. The fact that our trip, which we set up on purpose as an “adventure”, was such a positive experience is greatly thanks to Rachael from Cardboard Box Travel Shop who gave us invaluable advice about accommodation, places to see and to avoid, difficult roads, things to take with us…. As regular travellers, we never received such a personalised and attentive service as we experienced with her. We recommend everybody intending to visit Namibia to contact Cardboard Box Travel Shop (ask for Rachael !!). They will provide you with a tailored and friendly service, organising you a unique experience.

Fantastic tours- off the beaten track
5/5

I did a 2 day Moshi tour and a 4 day trip to Pangani beach with African Traits. Both tours were very well organised, reasonably priced, and extremely enjoyable. They exceeded my expectations, and were great options to add to a safari or kilimanjaro climb. I would wholeheartedly recommend Godfrey and African Traits.
