Quite an experience
4/5

toured for 9 days in Kenya and Tanzania. Great adventure. Some very rough roads to endure. Had two different tour guides, Michael (in Kenya) and Steven (in Tanzania). Both were fantastic. The accommodations after long days of driving were always a treat and exceeded exceptions. There were a few misunderstandings on what was covered in the fees. Be very clear when agreeing on the final itinerary and what is not included.

Best tour guides
5/5

Prime Safari made our vacation the most memorable one to date. They took care of us from Uganda all the way to Tanzania. Every step of the way, with our own guide. Very polite, friendly, and informative. They made everything about the trip smooth and easy. We also knew what to expect next, and they were always on time for pickups, drop-offs, you name it. Highly recommend this company to any traveling through Africa. We saw all of the big 5 and then some in Tanzania. Also got to hang out with the gorilla families in Uganda. Best vacation experience I've ever had.

Excellent Trip
Overall rating
5/5

We went to South Africa on a rock climbing trip so went to Kruger for a couple of days when we were resting. It did not disappoint. We started off at the Malanane entrance driving over towards Lower Sabe and then onwards to Pretorioskop to stay overnight.
The Bridge at the Malanane entrance is a great place to spot birds and crocodiles and we spent quite a long time there.
I liked the way that you can drive yourself around and you are pretty much guaranteed to see wildlife. You probably may see a bit more if you go with a guide but there is so much to see that it is not essential to be guided around especially if you like your independence
The birdlife was pretty interesting with lots of species that you will never have seen before if you are a European.
The camp at lower sabe is a really nice place to stop for lunch as the open air restaurant looks out over the river and we saw hippo and giraffes while we ate our lunch.
We had brilliant stay at Pretorioskop in really smart bungalow accommodation. Not all the accommodation here is the same we were lucky to be in a really smart place that exceeded our expectations but there is accommodation of varying standards so if you want something smart it is best to check carefully what you will get for your money.
I got some pretty good photographs and only had my 125mm lens with me. I really regretted not having my telephoto with me but was pretty pleased with quite a few of the photos I took
Overall a good couple of days

Barafu Tours & Safaris is the way to explore Tanzania!
5/5

My friends and I used Barafu Tours and Safaris to climb Kilimanjaro (8 day Lemosho Route) as well as partake in a 4 day safari afterwards. They took care of us every step of the way from airport pick-up to airport drop-off. Our climbing guides were amazing in getting us to the summit and the cook did a tremendous job feeding us. The rest of the team always had camp set up by the time we arrived, supported us, and were a pleasure to be around! The safari was an great experience as well. The guides were really friendly and informative. We saw plenty of animals from lions and leopards to elephants and giraffes. The accommodations we spent our nights at were absolutely amazing. Barafu is the way to explore Tanzania!

Incredible
5/5

African Pearl Safaris is excellent in all ways. They respond to inquiries and emails very timely, their package prices are reasonable, and they made good use of time on the safari. Our driver, Herbert, was top-notch in all aspects! The accommodations booked by APS were friendly, clean, surrounded by great views, and close to the attractions.
One issue we had with them was communication indicating when payment was due. They were very helpful in resolving it and handled the matter professionally.
Overall, incredible experience! Would recommend to anyone and would like to use them for future expeditions.

Don't visit South Africa without contacting Mmilo Tours first!
5/5

Patrick and his team are top notch professionals, quick to respond, and willing to customize recommendations to meet your preferences and schedule. I recommend him and Mmilo Tours if you want to eliminate the guess work out of planning travel, hotels, car rentals, transfers, safaris and even driving tours. He helped in all aspects, and even arranged for a day-long tour of Jo'berg and Soweto for our family of four.

Every place he recommended was as advertised, or better. Please, save yourself hours of headaches and trust Patrick. He won't let you down.

A journey of a lifetime
5/5

The cycle trip was an amazing experience, to see, smell and taste Africa.
There is a good balance between cycle and rest days. And the hotels that we stayed in where good, of course one better than the other. We spend two nights in a tent and that was a really amazing experience, you could hear the hippos eating grass right next to your tent.
The highlight of the trip was for me the Masai Mara, such a beautiful place.
I could go on for ever but the best thing is for you to experience it for yourself.
The people who organized it were very friendly and supporting.
If you wasn't in love with African already you'll be definitely after this trip!!
