Bwindi Gorilla/village experience was a once in a lifetime trip, well organised and planned
5/5

Right from the start when dealing with Jolie I knew that we'd picked the right agent to manage/organise our trip. Jolie and team were flexible and understanding in our changing requirements and assisted in making the initial payments as seamless as possible. The transfers/pickup process worked well, we had a great guide in Tom who accompanied us and drove us throughout the trip, he was able to answer our queries and had a solution to anything we needed. The Buhoma Lodge was superb, we enjoyed our stay immensely, the quality of the accommodation and food was first class. Finally the gorilla hike was amazing, this must be on everyone's to-do-list, the Bwindi park ranger and trackers made the hike as interesting and physically as least demanding as possible. Sitting with the gorillas for an hour was a moving experience one will never forget. Thanks again Achieve Global for making this a memorable and successful trip.

Great experience, unforgetable safari.
5/5

I visited South Luangwa National Park with Kingfisher safaris and it was gorgeous. Lodge was amazing and all pre safari issues were sorted out very profesionally with Kingfisher staff. Will definetely repeat with them (doing Uganda in a few weeks ) in the future, since they are very good experts in Africa.

Strongly recommend
5/5

Easy and prompt communication, everything was as advertised, price was quite good too comparing to other suppliers, our driver Simon went the extra mile and often got out of his way to ensure we see as many as possible animals even in situations that approaching them was not that easy. Was an amazing experience overall :)

MEMORABLE
5/5

From the very beginning I worked with Eric on putting together our personalized safari itinerary, the communication process was seamless, easy, and very efficient. Eric's response rate was very efficient and quick.
On our safari pick up day, they showed on at 8:40 am sharp, which extremely impressed me. During the safari, Evans was extremely helpful and professional. On our long drive to Maasai Mara, Evans asked about our favorite animals, which we responded Cheetah.
Little did I know then that this simple answer will make Evans drive around Maasai Mara national reserve miles and miles and miles looking for our favorite animal - the cheetah.
In sum, if you are going on safari as a first timer - like us - book with Lechanda Safari and rest assured you are in good hands. As Americans we are very specific of what we want, and they met our expectations. We will definitely reach out to them on our next safari trip.

THANK YOU.

Fantastic and flexible day trip
5/5

We were in Arusha on business and had an extra day to ourselves before we left that night. Emman was extremely helpful and quick to reply, setting us up with a day trip itinerary for Arusha National Park which left early and got us back in time to make our flight. We were able to arrange all of this within 24hrs of the excursion. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great service. Highly recommend this if you are just two people because you get the jeep to yourself as compared to being put in with another group.

Excellent Trip arrangement and staff
5/5

Skywide Touris arranged everything perfectly and professionally from the beginning of our trip. I left everything to Peter before I entered Kenya. By the first step out of Kenya Airport, we had been treated with great service, accompanies with a great tour guide- an Excellent English-speaking local Kenya who is super knowledgeable about national parks, about animals, about local culture, everything.

Certainly I will choose this tour operator again if I plan to Africa in the future.

Brilliant tour company. Tolbert is the best...!
5/5

I just finished doing the 11 day Rwanda and Uganda trek with Encounter Africa.
Everything went brilliantly... Seeing gorillas in the wild has been top of my bucket list for forever and from my first contact with Chris via email he responded quickly and with great suggestions to tailor make the perfect trip for me. Starting with pick up in Kigali, right on time, then to Volcanoes NP for gorilla and Golden Monkey trekking with a stop at the Dian Fossey Centre, crossing to Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable NP for gorilla habituation, Queen Elizabeth NP for game drives and Kazinga Chanel cruise, Kibale forest for Chimp habituation then Murchison Falls NP for more game drives and a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. then back to Entebbe with a stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary before drop off at my Entebbe hotel, plus, I added on the Ngamba chimp sanctuary the following day (well worth a visit).
It was such an amazing experience largely due to my brilliant Guide/ Driver / Weaver of magic wand Tolbert... when Tolbert showed up to pick me up from my hotel in Kigali I was very happy as I’d read great reviews about him. He is not only a great guide, but he’s a good, safe, driver and a great person and it really made the trip extra special. Even when a stick, or something, destroyed the radiator fan of our van in THE MIDDLE of Queen Elizabeth National park, Tolbert made a few calls an in less than an hour three guys found us, dropped of a replacement vehicle and took ours off to get fixed, ON A SUNDAY, and we continued on with our game drive. I was very impressed!!! He seems to know EVERYONE in Uganda and his contacts lead us to some special game viewing and unique experiences and I have now made a great friend.
As I was traveling towards the end of the low season I really felt like a VIP as our lodges we stayed at, all of which where all excellent BTW with great food, where quiet and we had basically the undivided attention of the staff, all of which where great, super friendly and very hospitable.
I have no hesitation recommending Encounter Africa Safaris and already passed their details to my friends and I wish them all the best in the future.

The guides were amazing
5/5

We just back from a 11 day week long study abroad experience in Africa with the guides Emmanuel and Moses. I was one of the leaders of the group and this was our first experience with this company booked trough Holbrook travel. This was our fourth time taking students to Tanzania and Africa with college classes and we were not sure what to expect . Moses and Emmanuel exceeded our expectations instantly! They took great care to make sure that all of students were taken care of , helped us to educate them concerning all aspects of ecology of the animals and plants of their country and most important provided an African experience that has clearly changed all,of their lives. Halfway through the trip we met up with the owner of the company Lucas who was clearly a very well known man who was respected and has had a great impact in the surrounding communities.. I would recommend this company above all, other companies for all, colleges and universities that decide to do a field biology or ecology trip like ours. A wonderfull experience with a very experimented guide.
5/5

We were very well welcomed by kindly people. They take care of us during the whole travel. We saw a lot of animals in their territory. The camp was comfortable and well organised. Andy is able to track the animals. He knows very well their habits and plants and minerals too. It was a great experience to have a safari with him and Russel who was a very good cook. So we want to come back with our family next year.

Most enlightening and fun experience I ever did!
5/5

I booked this trip for me and 4 friends (in our mid-twenties) in march through Mohamed and he was kind enough to go through all the questions we had for him. He ended up suggesting the perfect trip depending on our needs. We did a camping safari for 4 days, 1 night at Ngorongoro and 3 nights at Serengeti. Both destinations were simply amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Elly. Elly made this trip super fun and pleasant, on and off-road. His passion for the wildlife and the animals really transcribed onto us and he was kind to share all of his knowledge in a very enlightening way. This trip was not only amazing, but it also served as the best school we could have imagined to learn about the nature, the animals, the weather changes, the African cultures and much more. The weather was perfect and we saw all the animals we expected to see. I am already excited for my second safari trip to come with Mega Adventures!
