Excellent trip to Pilanesberg National Park / Black Rhino reserve
This is a very professional outfit. The consultant, Michelle Miller was very helpful, answering all my questions. The iterinary and invoice were sent before the trip even though I booked at the last minute.
The drivers were punctual, courteous and helpful. The driver on the return leg went out of his way to arrange for a helper so that I can be back at the hotel in time for my dinner appointment.
The hosts at Pilanesberg pirate lodge, Hendrix and Petra were immaculate, knowledgeable and ensured that my stay was comfortable and memorable. I would return again in future!
I am happy to recommend this tor to my friends.

Everything worked fine. The place of accommodation was good, and so was the food.
Communication before the trip was good, service as well. The pick up and return transport was excellent. The trip fulfilled my expectations, and the safari itself was amazing.

Unforgettable holiday
On this way I want to say >>Asante sana<< to the whole company Benson Safaris in Tanzania.
I had a first great and impressive time in Tanzania. I were looking for my first holiday in Africa to make some safari. During my searching found Benson Safaris Tanzania and got a quick response from the owner Benson. He really made a good offer staying 14 days in Tanzania. At all my time in Africa I felt safe on my own, had a nice lodge (booked from Benson Safaris) and an excellent Safari.
After they picked me up from the airport I met the owner Benson at the lodge. I really appreciate that he cares of his clients personally-I didn't know something like this from all my holidays. It isn't naturally - I am really greatfull for this personally caretaking!
Special "thanks" to Paul (my safari guide). He really made my time in safari, we lough a lot and he explained everything about my preferred animals as well. We had a great break in Tarangire and a really good African lunch. I really enjoyed this experience.
All in all I can recommend Benson Safaris to have an unforgettable time and stay in Africa, learning about culture, have a safe trip and organization for your holiday! This won't be my last stay in Africa...

Such a beautiful experience to be in the Bush...and amongst wildlife.

Definitely the most memorable!
Our 7 high school students and two other staff from Texas School for the Deaf went to South Africa as part of our International Studies program last March. Someone happened to send me a link of Arun using sign language in one of his safari videos. I went to contact him and our communication about the trip has been very smooth and clear. We were fortunate to have Arun as our guide during our 4-day safari trip. He was able to use the language that all of us were able to understand. During the trip, he shared information about the animals, the fun facts, the legends, and some silly jokes. On the last night, he took some times to take us food shopping and help us cook "braai" kudu and impala meats in South African's style. Our students learned a lot and considered this as one of their most memorable parts of the trip! Thank you ARUN!!

Great trip with an amazing guide
Gregory was our guide during an amazing trip in July/August 2017. I believe one of the reasons it turned out so great was his presence. We gave him quite the tough job organizing a trip for a big group of 12 people from different countries with different wishes and he managed to make it an unbelievable experience for all of us!
The main reason was his flexibility, we were talking via e-mail months in advance and we discussed the possible itineraries. After many e-mails going back and forth, we found a plan which suited all our wishes and we started our 2 week trip!
He assisted us from day one when picking us up at the airport. The first day we stayed in Windhoek and he took us to a great bar called Chopsi’s, we liked the atmosphere that much we returned at the end of our trip. Of course Greg is not only a great guide because of taking his guests for beers, the day after we were already on the move! We stopped by his place to get some sleeping bags, mattresses and the two jeeps and off we went! A nice surprise was that we could drive as well, who does not want to tell stories about driving through the Namibian desert?!
Our first highlight was the Fish River Canyon, after stopping for a night in Keetmanshoop, we arrived and enjoyed the amazing views over the canyon. The first part of the trip we were mainly camping, setting the tents before sunset and enjoying a barbecue and some beers. Afterwards we drove further to Luderitz where we slept in a hotel and a bizarre encounter took place, suddenly Michael Williams (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire,…) was ordering eggs at breakfast next to me. Apparently they were recording the movie ‘The Red Sea Diving Resort’ in Namibia. After meeting some celebrities in Luderitz, we went on to Sossusvlei where we headed up the dunes in spite of the heavy wind and saw the famous dead trees. These days we were staying in an amazing campsite in the middle of the desert, luxury camping with nobody around except of some oryx coming to the drinking hole. Next, we passed by the ‘German city’ Swakopmund and went through to the beautiful landscapes of Damaraland. The big finale still had to come in Etosha where we saw lions, rhinos, elephants and a huge amount of zebras, pretty amazing!
So yes, book with Lark Journeys and hope Greg is your guide, you will have both the touristy highlights which make the country famous but you will also meet a great Namibian guy who will give you some insights about Namibia as a country and who will take you out for a beer. What do you want more?!
