I got my money's worth on day one and the trip just kept getting better.
5/5

I booked my trip through groupon and it was a fantastic deal. The accommodations were amazing, the food was great, Kenya was a gift, our guide (Francis) was the best and deserves a raise. I can't recommend this tour company and this country/safari enough. It was the rainy season which meant more adventure (be prepared) and fewer tourists.

Great experience!
5/5

Full service. We were picked up from the hotel and returned to the same place.
The safari itself is a great experience. We managed to see all of the big 5 and some more. Personally, I especially liked the Lake Naivasha boat safari as I managed to get my dream shot of a bird (African Fish Eagle in that case) catching a fish.
The camp in Masai Mara and the hotels in Nakuru and Naivasha were clean and well maintained. Not Hilton-level, obviously, but I wouldn't expect that in a budget safari :)
Our driver/guide, Anuri (sorry if I misspelled your name!), was professional, nice and friendly. It was thanks to his skill that we could see the big 5 in such a short time and off-season.
Overall, highly recommended.

As a family, best vacation ever. Home to Africa arranged a perfect trip for us. Extremely professional service, a wonderful guide (Derrek) and very good price for what you get. Go to Uganda and we can strongly recommend Home to Africa.

A wonderful Photographic Safari in Manyeleti
5/5

I contacted Armand in December 2017 via Internet. He was recommended to me and I was looking for a short notice photo safari for me an my daughter. We didn't want to go for a "couple / honeymoon" trip but were looking for a father/daughter bush experience. And what shall I say, we had the perfect trip. I had hoped for a private safari with somebody who has a sense for the needs of a photographer, and exactly this, plus some unexpected luxury, was what we got.

Armand picked us up at Johannesburg airport, took care of transportation, last minute shopping and a very relaxed first night in Hoedspruit before we had a guided 6 night bush camp safari in Manyeleti game reserve. His photographic guidance helps my daughter to master also difficult light scenarios light vultures in bright light and his knowledge about the wildlife and his relationship with the guides lead us to many outstanding sightings. From Rhino to Hippo, from Lion to Leopard, even a Serval ended up on my picture list.
We had a really great time and we already look ahead for our next tour with Armand.

Highly recommended safari company !!
5/5

We had an absolutely perfect time with Angose Travel visiting Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Tarangire. I highly recommend booking with this Tanzanian-owned company. I will be booking with them again for my parents after our 5-star experience!

The 5 of us had limited time for our safari (4 days, 3 nights - I would suggest going for far longer!). Even with our budget and time constraints, our contact person, worked endlessly to come up with the perfect safari for us. He was prompt, pleasant, and willing to change any detail of the itinerary.

We were provided with excellent hotel accommodations in Arusha the night before our safari where we were picked up to begin the journey.

Our guide, Cosmas, was really nice what made the safari so great. He knew we were crunched on time, so he made sure we traveled from park to park efficiently and showed us all the highlights that he could in each region - scenic lookouts, leopard hideouts, migration zones. We even saw the big 5 in the first 24 hours (due to some luck and a lot of Cosmas's skill)!! He joined us for dinner some nights at our request to share drinks and stories and answer our questions.

Ismael, the chief, was also wonderful! While we were on our game drives, he would have the tents set up and everything ready to go for us to enjoy our evening. Lunch was usually a pre-prepared boxed lunch for convenience. Dinner started with a DELICIOUS soup and then a main dish and dessert. The food was absolutely amazing - especially considering he cooked them on one gas ring by the light of a headlamp, from scratch!

The safari vehicle, a 4 Wheel Land Cruiser-Open Roof, was very well kept, clean, and reliable. There is a small refrigerator in the back that we used for our drinks plus plenty of outlets (bring your converter if you're from the states) so that we could charge our phones and cameras as we went. All 5 of us (7 including the staff) had a window seat, plus the top pops up so we spent every day hanging out the top taking in gorgeous Tanzania!

We did a budget safari, so we stayed in tents at each public campsite. The tents are clean and water-tight. Cosmas provided explicit directions about how to not be eaten/attacked by wild animals at night (not joking!) and always slept within shouting distance if we were to need anything. The tented camp experience was amazing and very authentic - especially when the cape buffalo were grazing near the flaps or the hyenas were laughing nearby!

3 of us were traveling to Zanzibar so we were dropped directly at the Arusha airport, and the other 2 were taken back to Arusha where they were staying. They made it incredibly easy to get us where we wanted to go!

Asante sana, Angose Travel!!

5/5

We had a perfect honeymoon safari organised by Maggie and her team . We were really treated well and got value for our money . One advise always take a private safari if its a special occasion you are having as Maggie advised us and we ended up having the best experience.
I would recommend Bison Safaris to anyone who wants to visit Kenya .Its a great company to travel with.

It was the best vacation ever! A lot of wildlife, perfect guide, good food, beautiful nature...
5/5

It was arranged well from the beginning. The communication was exellent. Our guide, Ruan, was the best. We learned a lot about the nature and animals living in South Africa. Every night we had another sleeping accomodation (since we were travelling around) and each time it was very good.

Professional, responsible and caring tour of Kruger.
5/5

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Wild Planet Safari in Kruger National Park. From our initial enquiries and follow up questions and information, to being collected at our hotel in Johannesburg, to being dropped off at the airport, we were extremely well looked after. Ryan and Benjamin, catered well for my gluten intolerance and my wife’s vegetarian diet. The meals were varied and well prepared. The accommodation they arranged was comfortable and met our needs perfectly.
Ryan’s guiding was superb. He knew the likely spots and found an enormous variety of animals and birds. He shared his vast knowledge with us which made our experience so much richer. Benjamin’s cooking and care were matched only by his gentle, sunny disposition. Unequivocal recommendation for the trip.

Well organized tour, good accommodation booked, amazing experiences with both Gorillas and Chimps!
4/5

This was a great, well organized safari. Eszra was very responsive to our inquiries. Our guide shared lots of information on the country, local customs etc. The accommodation provided was very good. The food was good at all the lodges - basic, but you have to keep in mind this is Uganda. We had amazing experiences in both Bwindi Impenetrable and Kibale National Parks. In Bwindi we had 2 gorilla permits - one for the north and one for the south. The troop we went to see in the South was definitely less habituated than the one we saw in the North; but still a great experience. The hiking to see the gorillas can be quite rugged with steep ups and downs and I would recommend that if you have ANY mobility issues that you hire one of the local porters to help you out. We were very fortunate to have very close encounters with the Chimps in Kibale. Uganda is a beautiful country but it does take a long time to drive in-between places as the road infrastructure is not that great. Give yourself plenty of time to explore the country.
