Adventure for Memories
5/5

Oli Otya everybody!

Back from my super trip to Uganda for 10 days with Gerald, the CEO, I can only have words of thanks.

He was courteous, professional, capable and his knowledge of animals and the parks was outstanding. He always answered everything with a so much knowledge and experience. He was constantly scanning the landscape while driving through the parks, using his knowledge and experience to guide us to the areas where we had amazing animals sightings and experiences. The level of professionalism of Gerald was impressive and he felt us safe and comfortable at every moment.

He put in heaps of effort for us to have a good time and we really enjoyed not only all our activities (Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, etc.), but also just having a good chat and laugh with him!
Highlight was the gorilla trekking, absolutely incredible and definitely worth it!!

It’s just a pleasure to deal with Gerald and will definitely use them again when (not if) we return to Uganda or when we visit Kenya. It’s not my first time in Africa and used different operators - local and international ones.
If you want to discover East Africa, don’t hesitate to do it with him, it becomes one of the best experiences of your life !
Tulabe mangu mukwano!

Great Experience
5/5

This was a big trip for us and we were concerned about the prospect of booking a really good tour company. Dismas, the owner, was on point throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent while making the appropriate arrangements and booking the trip. We were picked up by our Guide, Saidi, who provided us with a worry-free, wonderful safari experience. Saidi worked incredibly hard for us to have as many close encounters with animals as possible. The lodgings were lovely and as described and everything went off without a hitch. I strongly recommend booking with African Ambitions and asking if Saidi is available to be your guide.

Perfect Wildlife experience at Amboseli National Park
5/5

We had quality time on a safari to Amboseli National Park. Silas was very prompt when replying to my emails. He planned the whole itinerary which was nothing short of perfection. We began our safari early in the morning to get the most out of it. James our guide was very professional and very knowledgeable about the animals. He stopped at strategic points for us to take photos of the beautiful scenery and wildlife. I highly recommend Safari Update Travels because of their high quality services.

Very knowledgeable and fun
5/5

My family had the BEST time with our safari in Arusha. We were able to see the animals and our walking safari was absolutely amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable not only about the animals but the surrounding areas and villages on our drive to the national park. We were provided with a delicious lunch and lots of treats for my little kids. The vehicles were new and extremely comfortable. We will definitely book again and for a longer safari tour. Thank you Ibra

Fantastic Safari Experience!
5/5

I can't say enough good things about DKS. I just returned from a 16 day trip to Uganda and Kenya. Mine was a private safari, which made it a little more expensive, but that almost meant I got to make it exactly what I wanted, and didn't have to deal with strangers. It was also super safe in this time of Covid. Keneth helped me arrange my trip and we sent hundreds of emails back and forth during the year it took to plan. He answered all my questions (and there were a lot!), and was always quick to respond. When Rwanda closed the land borders to tourists 9 days before my departure, he let me know immediately. He suggested an alternative, I changed my flight, and he had my whole itinerary rearranged in less than 24 hours. I was very excited when I got to finally meet him in Nairobi, and thank him in person, and he spent my last day on tour with me and my driver. My driver was David. He was with me my entire time in Africa. After two weeks with him, I felt like I made a friend. He shielded me from shady officials wanting bribes, knew the best times to go on game drives, introduced me to the most delicious spicy ginger tea, and even taught me some Swahili. David and Keneth took such good care of me. I can't imagine going back to East Africa, and not booking my trip with DKS.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!
5/5

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Pembury Tours! The company as a whole is very organized and professional. Our tour consultant, Kerry Ririe, was an absolute pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond to ensure we experienced our dream South African vacation. She took real interest in our hopes for this trip and made it all happen, as well as offering her own excellent recommendations on what to do and places to stay. There was thorough and timely communication back and forth in the planning process and while we were on the trip, I felt like I didn’t have to worry about anything! She put our minds at ease planning such a big vacation, especially with Covid restrictions still in place. We didn’t have one issue during the entire two week stay! The cost of the trip, considering how extravagant, was in my opinion VERY reasonably priced. My husband and I would do it all over again, with Kerry and Pembury!

Fantastic safari organized by a fantastic team at Seven By Far - highly recommend
5/5

We completed a 10 day safari with Seven by Far in June of 2022. It was an amazing experience with our fantastic guide Hassan, who was very knowledgeable about all things Kenya and also very nice to ensure our comfort. The tour was built around our interests (Amboseli, Nakura, and Mara) and every day was tailored to our comfort. All of the accomodations were extremely comfortable with great staff and well-priced --- really loved it

A huge thank you to Sylvester and his team at Seven By Far who continuously managed email back-and-forth with us for almost 2 years (delays due to COVID) and still delivered a great experience. We would definitely go back to Kenya and with Seven By Far

Arusha National Park, a rarely visited jewel
5/5

As part of our Tanzania tour through the famous national parks, we had a free day in Arusha before departure. Although we thought we were full from all previous experiences, we booked a day trip to the Arusha National Park with 'Tanzania Safari Bug' to use the time. Fortunately, this was possible in German, thanks to Sandra Rudolph-Msuya, the co-founder of 'Tanzania Safari Bug'.

We did not regret it. It was an eventful, exciting and yet relaxing safari day. After a short drive, the giraffes greeted us in the surprisingly lush vegetation. Zebras, waterbuck and baboons were all seen, as well as the rare black and white colobus monkeys high up in the trees. From Michael, our driver guide, we learned many new details about the life of the animals here in the park. Even the smallest creatures that make a healthy ecosystem perfect.

On the shores of the Momella Lakes we saw hundreds of flamingos, we passed the 'Fig Tree' where two fig trees grow together in form of an extremely photogenic passageway. The picnic with a view of Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro was also an unforgettable experience. Short walks, during which we got closer to the plant world, relaxed the drive in the open off-road vehicle pleasantly.

Unfortunately, this trip to the Arusha National Park passed too quickly.
Thanks to Michael for this unique day!

Fantastic safari.
5/5

We went on a 3 day safari. We were picked up at the airport and taken to our hotel for one night and started our safari the following morning. Bariki was a fantastic guide, he’s knowledgeable, punctual and helpful and great company. Our first day was around Tarangire national park which was amazing, we saw so many different animals and birds, had a great packed lunch with an incredible view. On the way back we visited some Masai people and saw how they make fire etc. we got back to our accommodation about 6pm. The accommodation was was mind blowing! What an amazing place, waking up to zebras and wildebeest walking around the tents and seeing hippos munching away while eating supper. Sitting inside the tent listening to zebras munching on grass. The second day was Ngorongoro crater, another mind blowing day, third day was Manyara lake. Every day was incredible. We enjoyed every moment.
I WhatsApp’d a few times to ask some questions about the weather etc and got a fast response which was reassuring.
This was a holiday of a lifetime and everything was perfect. Thank you so much for making that happen.

Fantastic customer service, very experienced knowledgable guide made the trip beyond our expectations
5/5

We first booked to travel to Kenya back before COVID to celebrate a 10th wedding anniversary and 50th birthday and Newton at Bateleur worked with us to ensure our dream of this trip could be fulfilled once travel restrictions allowed it.
He is very responsive to queries and questions, supporting the whole experience from beginning to end.
We were collected promptly from the airport as arranged, and our guide, Steve was extremely knowledgable and experienced not only with the wildlife but also in how to get the maximum out of the vehicle we were in and therefore the terrain of the national parks. Something not to be underestimated in the Masai Mara, where we did indeed have to pull another vehicle out after they got stuck!
Steve seemed to have an instinct for where to go to see some of the most amazing sights and genuinely shared in our delight of what Kenya has to offer.
We definitely would recommend Bateleur in terms of their approach and service, the amazing staff and communication every step of the way. Newton even gave us some tips regarding the climate and what we might need to pack. And we are already in communication with Newton about a return trip in 2023.
