Super!
5/5

Bernard was really helpful and gave useful inputs in helping us plan our first trip to Tanzania, would highly recommend him as all his help and efforts helped us in having a super trip to Tanzania. While helping us plan our trip he took in all our inputs on how we wanted our trip to turn out. Small points like informing the places we were staying at in advance about any food restrictions were all taken care of, kept in touch with us throughout to make sure we were facing no issues. We had a wonderful time in Tanzania and hope to be back soon.

Faultless from start to finish
5/5

Having had no luck finding a “commercially available” trip to suit us, we were recommended to try Encompass Africa, this was a great recommendation. From our first contact with Jono, to our coffee and cakes wrap up meeting when we got back, Jono walked us through everystep of the way with it being our first safari.
The safari itself left us speechless at times, we had never imagined being so close to so many wonderful animals and meeting so many wonderful people.
All of the arrangement literally went off without a hitch, all of the staff that we met were brilliant. We are now seriously contemplating our next trip, but wish we had done it many years ago.
If you have ever thought of a safari trip, do it now, don’t delay and use Encompass Africa for your arrangements, you won’t be disappointed.

Very good organization and excellent safari tour!!! :-)
5/5

I am very satisfed with the organization and the safari tour of Shemeji. I will never forget this amazing trip!!! The organization made by Froukje was very professional, she always behaved in a very kind manner. Freddy was an excellent guide and driver. He drove us to very nice places and based on his knowledge and experience we could see a lot of lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and other animals. He was very patient when we wanted to stay longer at a certain place. Further, he always provided us the important information concerning the different places we visited and the animals we saw. Further, the food we got from the cook Godson was excellent. My friend Annemarie and me enjoyed this trip so much. I definitely would like to see the Serengeti again, which impressed me most. And if I come back, Shemeji shall organize this trip again. Thank you very much! :-)

Phenomenal experience
5/5

I did the 4 day safari with African Traits at Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Godfrey (the propreitor). He's a very easy-going yet professional person. He took the time to come by and see me after the safari, before I flew out. Wasn't shy on asking for feedback and genuinely felt like he cares about his customers and their experience and wants to improve constantly.
My guide George (Babouuuuu) and cook (Usman) kept me entertained and well fed for all 4 days. I was alone on the safari for all 4 days, so Babou provided me excellent company and kept me constantly entertained with stories and facts about the area. His knowledge of the area and his phenomenal ability to track/see animals is unrivaled. In the first 3 days itself we saw every type of animal that the safari could offer (elephants, gazelles, antelopes, cheetahs, topis, leopards, rhinos, lions...you name it).
My favorite part about African Traits was how accommodating the team was. Godfrey and Babou went above and beyond to accommodate me and my changing plans. They were incredibly flexible with my plans and with what I wanted to do (staying in a lodge, or leaving a day early). Overall a fantastic trip made significantly better thanks to Babou.

If you're planning to do a safari in Tanzania, I wholeheartedly recommend going with African Traits

Best way to go on a safari
5/5

Our safari trip was planned within a day! With the help of Nelson and his quick replies on whatsapp , we were even able to heavily customise our trip. Focus team should rename themsevles to focus on customers. We had a lot of help from them not only in arranging the USDs for payments but also in accommodating our last minute changes to the plan , while we were on safari. Herman is an excellent guide , who made sure we saw what we came for- the migration , along with a variety of other wildlife. In all, a great experience, with a great price to go along with it.

AMAZING 9 day trip from Mombasa, through Tsavo East, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara
5/5

WOW. Where do I begin? We decided to go to Kenya on whim and picked this country for a safari primarily because of our love for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which is located right outside of Nairobi. We wanted to do a longer trip where we would see a lot of different parks and animals so I decided to book with Kenya Espresso Tours only after reading a bunch of reviews on TripAdvisor and Safari Bookings. The cost and the itenerary we chose looked amazing as a whole package and - without realizing it was rainy season in Kenya - we came in March. Actually, I'm still in Kenya as I'm writing this review. Once we wired our deposit I was still unsure of how this whole trip would turn out. I looked at all of the hotels where we would be staying prior and couldn't believe it. But suffice to say the trip was INCREDIBLE and our driver was so lovely and sweet - Joseph. He met us at the airport in Mombasa. My bags got lost so he delayed our safari until they were delivered - which was great. It was just my husband and I on the trip - which made it that much more special. And despite the common rains, we actually escaped the rainiest week the week prior landing on March 23rd and staying through March 30th. The weather is incredible and we saw SOOOO many animals. From lions to cheetahs to giraffes in Tsavo. Then elephant herds in Amboseli. More lions and cheetahs in Maasai Mara and even hippos. I would recommend - if you go on a safari - that you rent a safari lens as the pictures I've captured are unforgettable. We asked Paul, the owner of Kenya Espresso, if we could modify our itinerary to visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust on our last day, and he easily accommodated us (which ended up being the highlight of our trip). Also, I must add, our trip was delayed a week due to a passport issue and Paul didn't even charge us extra for delaying the safari. This was a lifetime of a trip and if you are thinking of using any tour company or going to any other country I HIGHLY encourage you to come to Kenya and use Kenya Espresso Tours :)
