Excellent choice for beginner safaris.
5/5

This was our first safari. Transfers from Moshi to jump-off point went smoothly. We stayed overnight in Gateway lodge and then drove to the safari start point early the following morning. Our guide was Max and our cook was Salim. Both were excellent. We entered the parks via Ngorogoro and drove on to Serengeti. We had a 3 hour game drive on the first day and saw plenty of animals. The safari Land Cruiser was extremely comfortable even over the bumpy tracks. We were in a group of 6 which is just the right size for safari. We camped in tents overnight after a very good meal. The next morning we did a long game drive after breakfast. We saw cheetahs and leopards, both of which are difficult to find. After lunch we headed back to Ngorogoro to camp overnight. The camp had a spectacular view of the crater. Another great dinner followed by a night time visit of zebras. The next morning we did a game drive of the crater, which was spectacular. After the game drive we had lunch and then transferred back to Moshi.

Service from Max, Salim and everyone else was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful, including assisting with locating a misplaced phone. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Tent camping was a greasy way to feel closer to the animals and nature. Salim’s cooking was fantastic and all the meals were tasty and plentiful. Finally, transfers from and to Moshi were all very smooth.

For such an unforgettable experience, with everything very well managed, I am very happy to recommend Suricata Safaris.

5/5

We had the pleasure to spend 5 days (in Ngorongoro & Serengeti) organized by Gosheni with our guide Erasto. Everything worked perfectly well and as planned.

Erasto is an amazing and very experienced guide. He knows his country, the roads and all the animals. We felt extremely well taken care of, received an answer to all our questions and had a lot of fun.

Can only recommend Gosheni!

Magnificent trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti
5/5

We had a wonderful 6 days/5 nights trip with Gosheni from Arusha to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. We were picked up by our lovely guide Erasto from our Arusha hotel and had a quick stop at the Gosheni office to finalize admin and get a briefing. Then we were off to Ngorongoro.
Erasto was a fabulous guide - friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about anything we wanted to know about nature and history throughout our trip.
We spotted so many lovely animals, including the rarer ones like cheetahs and rhinos. Well, Erasto spotted them as he has that skill to spot really everything.
Everything worked according to plan and was thought through and we can highly recommend Erasto as a guide and Gosheni is a tour operator!

Attentive, proactive and very informative travel agent which I absolutely recommend
5/5

From the first email to the last connect we really felt to be in good hands with Darren and Kate. They are very knowledgeable, attentive, flexible and very kind. We really had the feeling that we were being taken care off and looked after. The lodge that was selected was great and also the flights to get there were well arranged. All and all a great experience and can highly recommend to book with them.

Very nice safari with wonderful people!
5/5

We did a 5 day safari with Suricata Safaris some weeks ago.
It was our first safari so we (family of 4) were really exited what it would bring. We had a jeep for 6 people so 2 others joined us which was fine.
Our driver/guide was Vincent. He was an excellent driver and knew a lot about the animals. Salim was our cook for these 5 days. With the limited resources they have, it as amazing what he could cook for us. We had even lasagna and pizza on our tour.
We started with Tarangire NP on day 1. This is an amazing park where we saw already many animals among which was the Cheeta. We slept the first night at Twiga which is a nice camping/bungalow park with small shop and swimming pool.
The next day we had a long trip via the Ngorongoro crater to Serengeti NP. It was a long drive with not that much so seen on they way there. In Serengeti we did a bit of game drive. In the evening we slept on Pimbi public campsite. There was only a toilet building and a kitchen building, but it was real nice. A giraffe was welcoming us on the campsite when we arrived. All these days we slept in tents on a matrasses with sleeping bag. The next day was a full day game drive in Serengeti which was really amazing. We saw a lot of elephant's, giraffes, zebras, water buffels, gazelles, antelope's etc. At the end we drove back to Ngorongoro crater to the Simba campsite. This is what bigger with more buildings. When we woke up also here a giraffe did great us. After breakfast we went into the crater and saw many lions and water buffels. In this time of the year a rhino is almost impossible to spot, which we didn't but didn't matter, it was nice anyway. Also some nice birds we could spot. At the end we drove back to Twiga campsite and could take a nice dip in the pool. The last day was lake Manyara, this was in our opinion the least park. A lot of monkeys we did see there.
It was for us a great experience and we did see a lot more than we had expected. Also the change in nature was stunning.
As a tip if you go camping, take enough toilet paper because sometimes it ran out on the camp sites.
Our experience was really great and we would recommend Suricata to everyone who want to do a safari!!!!!!!!!

About: Topy Tours
Great price for good value
5/5

Jackson arrived to get us from arusha airport he was waiting for us at the way out, then took us to the amazing hotel he managed to get for us.

We made 3 days of safari : tarangire, ngorongoro and Waterfalls of Kilimanjaro Materuni.

All 3 days were amazing, in tarangire we saw many elephants, girafes and zebra from very close, in Ngorongoro we saw hippo, lions but from far, and especially in Ngorongoro the landscapes are amazings, we also loved the last day were we did the waterfall, coffee tour and the hotspring which is like a natural pool oasis.

The food was very good.

The second night the hotel is more low cost but clean and good food and employees are nice. It made the job for 1 night !

We compared and discussed with so much agencies and Topy tour was for us the best one in terms of quality price ratio. Definitely i recommand and would go with them again, we hope to come back to make serengenti and Lac Manyara.

Great experience
5/5

We have been with three friends on a safari organized by Michael from Nothern Circuit Adventure. It was a six day trip to three national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Additionally we have visited Olduvai Gorge and three tribes: Masai (very briefly), Hadza and Datoga. We were accompanied for time of the trip by a driver (also being a guide) Justin and a cook Sweetbart.

We all think this was a fantastic adventure. The plan was well balanced between exploring nature, free time, meeting native people etc. We have seen more animals than expected and more importantly experienced much more than we thought. Justin and Sweetbart were very helpful, thinking how to make our trip the best and never complain for any inconvenience (like our delay). It was interesting to talk with them about nature, Tanzania, Africe and life :). Justin is professional in his guiding skills, we has a broad knowledge about african nature and also wants to learn more. Sweetbart prepared really nice meals, we didn't have any stomach problems despite coming from very different place (Poland). Michael, the director, was helpful during the prepartion. He responded quickly to my messages on WhatsApp and his answers were to the point. It is important to emphasise that our safari trip was much less extereme than we expected. We felt safe and also importantly level of hygiene in toilets etc. was high on camping places. I trully recommend trip with Northern Circuit Adventure and especially with Justin and Sweetbart.
