An excellent and unforgettable experience
Our family and I just came back from 8 days safari experience with Bison Safaris
We were picked up at our hotel in Nairobi and brought back to the same hotel as planned. During game drive we saw more wild animal than we had expected including the big five all thanks to our driver with great skills of tracing animals.
Everything went as planned and even exceeded our expectations

From the very beginning, picking you up at the airport, up to the whole organization of the safari.
We were in serengeti park, ngorongoro and lake manyara. It was such a great experience that I can only recommend to everyone!
The guide could explain a lot to us :)

The best experience I could never forget.
Unforgettable memories! We won't forget every moment. I had a lot of worries about going on a trip under the COVID-19 situation, but with Sour of Tanzania team's strong support, I was able to make a decision and had beautiful experiences.

5 day Serengeti
Exceptionally good communication from Anthony in organising the dates and where we will be picked up and dropped off and the itinerary.
Our guide and driver George was friendly and patient and accommodating.
Our first day at Tangerine National Park was amazing, we were incredibly lucky to see 3 of the big 5 plus other animals.
Our 2 days in Serengeti allowed us to experience a different vast climate and see more animals. We were lucky enough to see lions in action. The drives can be long, but Georges keen eyes would alert us to any new animals.
We managed to just about see a rhino in Ngorongoro crater with binoculars. Binoculars are a must to bring along!
Finally on our last day at Lake Maranayara which is much smaller, we managed to see the final of the big 5 - the leopard.
George would give us facts about the animals and answer our questions.
The lodges included are genuinely nice and accommodating and the food was great with 3 course meals. Water bottles are provided in the car and juice at lunch. One of the lodges grew their own fruit and veg and the juices and food was delicious. They also gave us a tour of their farm and coffee beans. Hospitality was amazing. The last lodge was slightly less good but still ok. Some issues with juices not being included in the cost whereas in the other lodges it was. This was not an issue if it meant keeping the cost of the tour where it is, but the lodge didn't communicate to us. The only other thing to remember is to add in some costs including international transfer and driver tips to your budget. Overall, this was the best value for money tour we found and were really pleased at how the company is run, their help with other things not in their remit, the staff, and how nice the lodges were that we stayed at.

We had an amazing time on our Safari with Hydrax! Our driver, Richard, was excellent. He was familiar with all three of the parks that we visited and was very accommodating to our group. This was a trip that will go down as one of the very best vacations. Mr, Richard was able to get us close to many animals and was attentive to all of our needs. Thank you Hydrax for an awesome adventure.

This was our 3rd Safari organized by Kathi and she took care on everything , very fast responses on my many questions during preparation of the trip. We were sure this trip will be perfectly organized and it was . Thank you Kathi and team
We arrived at Johannesburg early morning and Kathi organized a pick up at the plane exit , we went through a special fast lane and only 15 minutes after touch down we were outside the air port and were transferred to the cozy FedAir Lounge and the Safari started just 20 minutes later in a very small plane. We had only 1hour transfer time between fligths from JNB main airport to FedAir airport, but due to the special service arranged by Kathi we made it easily.
Our First lodge for 3 nigths was Madikwe Hills private game lodge, absolutely perfect in each and every aspect, Good game viewing, good ranger, excellent service, spectacular food, beautiful room with an incredible look on a waterhole , animals were passing all the time, very good management taking care for all of our needs , this lodge I would give 6 out of 5 stars, outstanding
Second stop for 3 nigths was Kings Hill, also very nice touch, somehow a colonial time atmosphere with a lot of African elements, all perfect , rooms very nice, food is very good, but not fully on Madikwe level . You see certainly Leopard during game drives which you hardly find in Madikwe , but game drives are at both lodges very enjoyable (but in June game drives are chilly you should be prepared) , Kings Camp I would rate 5 out of 5 stars
So we had a fantastic trip and we will certainly come back on Safari and we will definitely use African Welcome Safari again as it is a brilliant agency. We are so happy that now it is possible to travel again safe and without any restriction to beautiful Africa.

Memories for a lifetime
I spent months, yes months, searching for the right tour company for our honeymoon. Seriously, we couldn’t have found a better company. Organization and communication were top-notch. We always felt like we were in good hands. From the first email exchanges with Nick sorting out our perfect itinerary to Pendo (who we can’t thank enough) taking care of every question, concern, and a very big last-minute rearrangement - like the day before arrival situation, and finally, to our guide, Khalifa, everyone and everything was absolutely AMAZING.
Khalifa’s good eyes and eagerness to spot animals brought us lots of good luck. Of course, our jeep, Pumba, also deserves a shoutout for getting us through those bumpy and rain-soaked roads (we went at the end of May)! Khalifa is very knowledgable, personable, and funny. He is also very respectful of nature, the animals, and the regulations/rules. He pointed out so many different plants and animals to us, and we’ve come home with tons more knowledge than when we arrived. We saw the Big Five and many other animals. But, the absolute highlight of the trip was witnessing a crazy morning hunt by two different prides of lions!! Which Khalifa told us is rare to encounter! We wish to be back in the jeep with Khalifa trying to spot an elusive leopard or a lazy lion.
