The safari experience of a lifetime!
My partner and I just finished a 7 day private safari organised by Jong and guided by George. We're almost struggling for words to express what an amazing experience it's been.
From the early interactions with Jong, we've had such a smooth planning process, even with this being our first ever safari. He prepared an itinerary that catered to our specific needs (to start in Nairobi but end in Mombasa) and covered all the things we were keen on seeing. He was also super responsive and gave us very clear instructions on the e-visa and QR codes we had to have ahead of the trip. We felt in safe hands throughout!
Once in Nairobi, we met George who was our driver and guide for the 7 days. He was so fantastic! He is a skilled driver and very knowledgeable safari guide, friendly and funny, he was able to spot animals from afar, tell us about them and their interesting behaviours, and drive us to all the right spots. We were in a minivan and only upgraded to a 4x4 for one of the days in Masai Mara so we could go further into the bush (on his recommendation), and that was perfect for us. We ended up getting so lucky that we saw all the big 5 as well as lots and lots of other animals up close.
A massive thank you to both Jong and George for one of the best trips we've ever been on! We'll almost certainly be back for more!

We had a great safari with Karibu. Everything went smoothly, from pick up at our hotell in Nairobi, the driving to Masai Mara, the accomodation we had at Jambo, and of course our chaffeur and guide. We have seen it all (except rhinoceros), our chaffeur did absolutely everything to make us happy. And he succeded by far our expectations.

More Money for Less Value
Save money and frustration by skipping Natural World Safaris and go to the actual operator. Natural World Safaris charged us a premium for our Antarctica expedition, yet, does not operate this expedition and has no employees on location. Making matters worse they attract adventurous customers with the lure of camping, kayaking and other expedition compliments without adequately informing you that these require separate bookings (and more money). When we arrived in Ushuaia (after traveling 7,000 miles) we discovered they separated my family into two different hotels, several miles apart. They say they did not know we were a family; however, they got this detail correct on my invoice and contract? Sharing an amazing adventure with my family justified the considerable investment traveling to Antarctica requires; yet I'm asked to say goodbye to part of my family on the first night? Save money and frustration and skip Natural World Safaris. To be clear actual operator, based in Canada and Ushuaia, is fantastic.

We wanted a safari experience with a locally owned company and we found this new company and felt immediately guided, understood and confident with their briefings and information to prepare a safe, well cared and enjoyable experience at the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Perfect, flexible, professional and incredible guide
If you want to have the best trip of your lives, do not hesitate to visit Uganda, it is a wonderful country full of culture, delicious food, incredible people, unforgettable landscapes and animals. And there is no better way to do it than with Sam as your guide and Yaneta Safaris as your travel agency they will adapt everything as you need. Incredible Safari Experience
We’ve been on eight previous safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. This is the first time we have used Somak and their tailor made service. This is undoubtedly the best Kenya trip we have ever done, at very competitive prices. Every special request on our booking was fulfilled, the itinerary was superb, an excellent off road vehicle, and nothing was ever too much trouble for our amazing guide Martin Weru. During our 15 day safari to the Aberdares, Laikipia, Elementeita, Masai Mara and Naivasha, we decided we were too lazy to visit Lake Nakuru, as it was not on our route back to Nairobi. Martin immediately came up with an alternative trip to Nairobi NP. Other operators would have simply left us languishing in a hotel for our final day. We are already planning our next Somak trip to more remote parts of Kenya.

Phillippo the boss is present at the start of the safari, he comes in person to meet you and also at the end for a report.
