One of the best holidays I've ever been on.
5/5

I recently returned from a 7-day safari that I booked through Sayari Tano. I've given it 5-stars, I only have a couple of minor gripes/suggestions, and then I'll get into all the positives!

1) I was surprised that there was no paperwork to complete (Which is kind of a good thing), but there wasn't really any information provided as to what to bring etc. In itself, this wasn't a problem, I've travelled a lot and had a good idea anyway - nonetheless I found it surprising.
2) There was no payment required beforehand, which is fine. But upon arriving at the hotel and being asked to pay for the tour, I discovered that they had no credit card facilities. This was inconvenient as it meant I had to make 9 ATM withdrawals (due to the ATM cash withdrawal limits, and therefore also pay the associated bank charges charges) and carry large amounts of cash on several trips back and forth down the street of a third world country. Credit card facilities would be an easy and much appreciated improvement.

Now... For the good! WOW! Everything for the tour ran pretty smoothly and the itinerary was perfect. Tanzania is an amazing country, you won't be disappointed. Sayari Tano were professional and prompt to respond in their email correspondence. The Arusha Hotel Inn is an ok hotel, perfectly adequate for what you should expect for what you're paying. It's relatively clean and the rooms are secure. The safari itself was fantastic! The car comfortable and spacious and Julius our driver/guide was brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. GoodLuck, the chef and camp organiser outdid himself, the food was delicious and filling, and he was also super friendly and helpful. I can't speak as to the other guides and chefs working with Sayari Tano, but if you request Julius and GoodLuck, you cannot go wrong. They're amazing, and I can't say enough good things about them. They genuinely felt like family by the end of the safari.

Of the 40+ countries I've explored, Tanzania ranks as one of the best. If you're a photographer like me, it's paradise.

If you're thinking of doing a safari in Tanzania, do it with Sayari Tano. I'm recommending them to all my friends and family who are now considering going after seeing my photos and hearing about my adventures.

Thank-you Sayari Tano, and most importantly thank-you Julius and GoodLuck!!

Awesome experience
5/5

From our first enquiry until the end of our trip Matoke Tours were excellent.Lionel in the office was helpful and informative. We did a 12 day tour including chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, everything was well organised and everywhere we stayed was delightful. The staff at all the lodges were friendly and always ready with a smile. The concern shown to my wife when she was ill was particularly touching. We knew that close encounters with the chimps and gorillas would be special but we're quite unprepared for the beauty of Uganda as a country, driving through the countryside and villages with Alfred, our driver, was a unique experience.Matoke tours made our holiday a memorable and special adventure,I can't rate them highly enough.

absolutely amazing!
5/5

If you are looking for a Safari company, want to stay away form big companies, crowded vehicles and tight schedules and so, Armadillo is definitely what you are looking for, a family business that can really offer a personalized experience.

For starters, I must praise the vehicle itself (the truck Norris!). It is a customized truck with a much better/higher vantage point than others vehicles, with really big windows, comfortable seats with tables, plenty of space to move around, fridge, WC... even WiFi when the signal allows it! All kinds of commodities that I did not expect on a safari.

Morris, our guide (and driver, cook, etc) was the best we could've had. We could see that he is really passionate about nature and the animals, easy going, skilled, eager to tell us stories and facts about the animals and the park. Needlees to say, he is an excellent cook and every night at the camping sites, we had an excellent Braai (BBQ) under the milky way.

The Safari was one of the highlights of our trip, we got to see astonishing amounts of wildlife, including 4 of the famous Big 5. We were incredibly lucky and we got to do the safari just the two of us, which made it even better. It really was like living a childhood dream of ours.

If we ever get the chance to travel to SA again, I would'nt doubt a second to book again with Armadillo! I Definitely Recommend Them!

Great experience with Kiboko Kenya Safaris!
5/5

We had a great experience with Kiboko Kenya Safaris. Clare was extremely helpful and had excellent communication. We had a private guided tour for 2 persons in Kenya and Tanzania. In Kenya, we visited Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, and Lake Amboseli. Our guide, Lenny, was wonderful. He has a fantastic knowledge of the parks, and is extremely friendly. The Kenyan parks are outstanding. Our visit to Tanzania was good, but the parks we visited (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) definitely seemed to be more refined and catered to the more conservative tourists. But, that being said, they were still beautiful and we saw some amazing wildlife in each. Overall, we had a fantastic safari experience!

Wonderful trip to Uganda, the "Pearl of Africa"!
5/5

We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Home To Africa Tours. Edward and Elias were extremely helpful in arranging the tour and their communication was excellent. They even went out of their way to secure a bag from the airport that was misplaced by our US airline. I can't say enough about how helpful they were. For the tour, we had a private guided tour for 3 persons. We visited Queen Elizabeth Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Our guide, Paul, was outstanding!!! His knowledge of the parks, the wildlife (especially birds) and the local culture was fantastic. We had a great time on our trip and would love to see other parts of Uganda - it is such a beautiful country. I highly recommend Home To Africa Tours and their wonderful staff.

A trip beyond our wildest expectations!!
5/5

Sunstreet Mortgage does an all inclusive paid trip for its top Ten sales staff and their significant others each year and for 2017 the destination was Safari in Kenya provided we met certain sales goals. Having had a fantastic experience with Wild Destinations to plan my honey moon to the Masai Mara 12 years before, naturally I dropped an email to Shaheen and Fareen in Jan (a little late to arrange a trip for 52 people in June). Having given them a short timeframe to work with I knew it was best to stay out of he way and leave it to the experts at Wild Destinations to work their majic. All I can say is boy did they deliver! As a few people in our group put it
"it was an epic trip that went like clockwork". The attention to detail was incredible. The camp was first class the game drives incredible each day had a surprise planned for the group beyond our imagination culminating in a 5 star bonfire dinner in the bush along with our own Masai dance. Wild Destinations made for a bucket list trip and Shaheen and Fareen saw to it that we had memories that would last a lifetime. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We left Kenya not only with brilliant memories but friendships that will last a lifetime.

Wonderful experience
5/5

We had an amazing time on our 4-day 3-night camping safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Our guide, Steven, was excellent; he took the time to explain things to us, went out of his way to take requests, and ensured that we got to see the Big 5 and much more! The chef, Gadi, also threw together some delicious meals. Both guys really made the safari special.
There was however one hiccup on our trip - the banks were closed for a holiday, so Richard was unable to transfer our park fees for Ngorongoro when we arrived. Unfortunately, we each had to pay out of pocket to get into the park and campsite. However, Richard assured us we would be reimbursed in cash upon our return to Arusha, and he made good on his promise and gave us the money as soon as we got back. Although this was inconvenient, it didn't ruin our experience - this just to say that sometimes things can go wrong, but they will make up for it!
Overall we had an incredible experience, we would recommend Okoa!
