Walking Stick Travel & Tours is top notch!
We used waking stick tours for a safari in November 2018! My boyfriend and I have done safari in Tanzania(Serengeti,Ngorongoro Crater and tarangire national park) and a self drive safari in Kruger national park in South Africa! We loved Botswana so much more than the other places. Botswana offered much more of an intimate experience! It was awesome! Walking Stick Travel and Tours was fantastic with answering all of our questions! We went with my family(mother, sister and bother in law) We had quite the email chain going back and forth! When we arrived Phillimon was at the airport waiting to pick us up! From there it was so easy! He took care of everything! We did two days in the Okavango Delta. We used Mokoros as transportation! There we camped two nights on an island and did a few walking safaris and a few mokoro cruises! We were also able to swim!!! We saw a variety of animals and birds as well! Kenny was our guide for those two days and he did a fantastic job! Joe was our cook for the entire trip and he had to deal with a few food allergies as well as vegetarians and nailed it! Food was fabulous and we were never hungry! Next we went up to Moremi! This place is awesome! We had really nice tents with a bucket shower and long drop toilet off the back! It felt like luxury in the bush! We went on multiple game drives and saw so many animals up close and personal! This is where Botswana really stands out. Instead of the mayhem of the Serengeti with a million cars following animals you had the animals to yourself! There was almost no one around! Pillimon knew so much about the animals! Its very refreshing to go with guides who have so much pride in their country and grew up in the area! Lastly we did a long drive up through Chobe up to Kasane. Its a really long drive so spend a few days up there exploring Victoria Falls. We opted to do Devils Pool on the Zambia side! Phillimon arranged all the transfers and tour for us! The entire experience was fantastic! We loved our guides and the camp setups as well as the food and game drives! Couldn't have asked for anything better! This safari defiantly surpassed our expectations!

We had the best safari and adventure we could imagine! It was an live experience to see the big five (except the rhino) and everything was best organized. The accommodations were just beautiful and you didn't miss anything! Drives, breakfast, lunch and dinner were absolutely perfect! The stuff and the guides were so kind, helpful and made our stay and tour with their service from the heart more than memorable!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Superb 11 day honeymoon safari
We looked at several safari operators, but decided on Transtrek very soon after Dan contacted us and tailor made our trip to suit both time and budget. David was a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide and we would like to use this platform to thank him again for an unforgettable safari on our honeymoon. Some of the highlights: Elephants and views of Kilimanjaro from Amboseli; Kilanguni lodge in Tsavo West, with view of waterhole from our room; Sheldrick elephant orphanage in Nairobi, where we met our fostered baby elephants; bird life at lake Naivasha; lions, cheetah and leopards at Masia Mara. There was much, much more including the comfortable accommodation, swimming pools and exceptional food at every camp.
Highly recommended.

I enjoyed so much
Staff were very friendly, my next trip to Africa will be next year, I can't wait to meet them again.
Forget anything else, safari with Legend at Sabi Sands is the ultimate experience
Thank you so much Legend Safaris for an absolutely epic trip - everything about our Big Cat safari at Sabi Sands was 11/10. The team has a genuine passion for the wildlife and go over and above to make sure that you are comfortable, that you are getting incredible wildlife encounters and are feeling completely at home with them. We went out on 6 game drives and on all 6 had close encounters with leopards; we saw a lion pride 13 strong mount an attack on a herd of buffalo, and we even saw a pack of hyenas steal a leopard's keel and the subsequent struggle by the leopard to recapture his prize. Cannot recommend highly enough, looking forward to heading back at some point in the next few years. Thanks so much to Shaheen, Zaheer and Asma for looking after us so well!!

Pleasant, professional, flexible staff making your dreams into reality.
Communication with the manager was excellent. We exchanged like 30 emails, and he replied on every my question within a minutes, and organized whole trip perfectly. Our guide on the road was vary nice and so flexible, we could arrange some things on the way according to the group requests. Safari is amazing experience, and these guys are really trying to make your trip comfortable and beautiful.

An Unforgettable Safari
On our fifth visit to Kenya for a safari we chose TransTrek on the recommendation of one of their previous clients. I would have no hesitation in extending that recommendation to other travellers who have similar interests and objectives. This is a very professional outfit.
For us Kenya is a wildlife photographers paradise, her people are amazingly friendly, and the camps at which we stayed were outstanding. This was our first completely ‘on road’ safari and despite reservations regarding driving times it was overall not hugely different to total times taken flying between game reserves when travel to and from, and waiting at, airstrips etc is balanced. The only downside was the amount of dust on the road to the Mara.
TransTrek readily tailor safaris to clients needs and desires. In e-mail and telephone discussions with Daniel we made refinements and changes to times and camps in the “Samburu Five & Big Five” offer advertised in the TransTrek web pages. Each stop had its peculiar highlights; Samburu and the Mara never disappoint; the Aberdares Country Club was just Oh So Colonial but the Ark at the Aberdares was a new experience which gave good photo opportunities; Ol Pejeta was also new to us, providing some unforgettable encounters; Sopa at Naivasha was fine for a transit stop; Naboisho was also a first visit - it was really interesting to understand the integration of Masai herders, safari lodges and animal conservation within a conservancy. It bodes well for the future. Food was good at all camps, but special mention should be given to the chefs at Sweetwaters, the Aberdares CC, and at Samburu Intrepids.
Our guide Tony went out of his way to make us comfortable and to get us into the best photography positions. He was on the go non-stop. Beyond his in depth and perceptive knowledge of the animals we encountered he has a broad command and appreciation of local, and African at large, culture and history. Our interaction was constantly engaging.
Overall we had a “lions share” this safari - we saw more lions and rhinos than on all our previous trips combined and as chance would have it we also witnessed once in a lifetime wildlife encounters. This trip will live long in our memories.

Excellent once in a life time experience with Ababa Safaris!
There were some brief issues with email communication which caused some concern to us, but once that was solved, the communications were much smoother! I would suggest perhaps a touch more outreach right before the Safari confirming all details (was provided but when asked) but otherwise, the reservations and permits were very smooth, our driver (Hamza) was really lovely and extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable and the 4 day itinerary as suggested by ABABA was really a great range of different terrain and experience in the beautiful country of Uganda. And the Gorillas!!! A once in a lifetime memory.

Once in a lifetime experience
We’ve had a once in a lifetime experience with Gilmag Safaris. We made a tailor made roundtrip through Kenya and Tanzania, starting with private safaris in Masai Mara, through the Northern and Central Serengeti, the Tarangire and the Amboseli National Park. Heading back to Nairobi we flew into Mombasa to end our trip with 5 nights at Nyali beach. This trip was just amazing, we enjoyed every second and we will never forget this adventure:-)
We chose a travel schedule as a basic but had some individual wishes so we reached out to Gilmag for an individual schedule. Mary was just awesome in tailoring our itinerary and she arranged literally every detail for our trip.
Our Kenyan guide Francis picked us up at Nairobi airport and guided us through Masai Mara. A beautiful time and a great start into our tour. We stayed at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
After 3 days Francis took us to the boarder where our Tanzanian guide and friend Gilbert had already been waiting for us. We went to the Mara river, stayed two days at the Northern Serengeti and another two days at Central Serengeti. We stayed at the Mbugani Camps which was just amazing! Afterwards we stayed two days at Tarangire NP (Tarangire Simba Lodge) before we immigrated back to Kenya. We completed our safari with one more night at Amboseli Sopa Lodge where we said goodbye to Tanzania with a beautiful view to Kilimanjaro.
Out safaris were really breathtaking, unforgettable and simply perfect. We’ve been to Africa 4 times before so our expectations were certainly high, but we can say that Gilmag managed to exceed our expectations by far. The great migration, bid herds of lions including lots of cups, several leopards even with cups, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles and even a rhino, Gilbert spotted all of these animals and offered us sceneries which were fantastic. We had a great time, a lot of adventure, fun and unforgettable memories.
After safari we went to Voyager Hotel at Nyali beach where we relaxed for some days. We went from Nairobi to Mombasa by plane and even the transfer to our hotel had been perfectly arranged by Gilmag.
With Gilmag you’ll find a local provider who offers individual and private tours according to your requirements. You will be closer to wildlife than you’ve probably been before, but due to experienced guides you will always feel very safe and secure. You will find lovely management, fantastic service and if you are lucky and have Gilbert as a guide you will have the best guide in the Serengeti.

A 'not be missed' experience with a best in class guide
My retirement gift to myself of a safari holiday involved much research on guiding companies before I tentatively approached Shaun at Moriti. Any possible doubts were swiftly dispelled by fast, friendly and helpful responses to all questions (no matter how trivial). Albeit a small, essentially one-man, operation Shaun covers all the bases and every aspect of the trip: travel, accommodation, meals and guiding, was covered impeccably. I find it hard to come up with words to describe how much Shaun added to the enjoyment of the trip: a polite, funny, helpful guy with quite exceptional knowledge of the history, environment and wildlife in which he operates and great relationships with the lodge operators, chef and guides that assist him. Maybe we were lucky but we saw a vast range of mammals, reptiles and birds and also learned a great deal about them; I truly believe much of this enjoyment was as a result of having Shaun at hand.
Our trip covered time in both the Kruger National Park and the Klaserie Private Reserve. There is a world of a difference between the Kruger National Park (fantastic wildlife but at time a lot of tourist traffic) and a private reserve (again, fantastic wildlife but with splendid isolation and more tracking required to spot the animals which exist in perhaps a more natural setting). Be sure to discuss your requirements and expectations with Moriti before booking.
Similarly, our chef Lyndsey, produced wonderful meals but be sure to cover off on any dietary requirements (as we did) in advance. And don't pack too much as shorts are sufficient all the time (and maybe some insect repellent).
This was supposed to be a once-in-a lifetime trip but the best review and summing up is to say that we are already wondering when we can go on another trip with Moriti.
