Lifetime Safaris made our trip better than anyone could have imagined! Everything was perfectly organized, the places we got to visit were amazing and the food was really good. I am super happy that Lifetime Safaris took care of us in such a good way. Thank you so much Agnes and Baraka, and the rest of Lifetime Safaris!!

Top notch hospitality makes for an unforgettable first African experience!
5/5

My wife and I have wanted to go on an African safari for quite some time but we thought it would cost us an arm and leg, especially if we brought our kids along. We looked for safari tours and asked around a bit until we stumbled on ToKenya. We were pleasantly surprised. Not only were their tours 100% customizable, but they also offered private safari tours at a reasonable price. We booked the 9 Day Savannah & Beach tour and when vacation time came, we packed our bags. Saying the trip was awesome is probably an understatement. From the sights of Lake Naivasha to the beaches of Mombasa, the tour was everything we had hoped for. It was, by all accounts, an experience of a lifetime and we have ToKenya to thank for it. Two thumbs up and worth every penny.

It was very cool.

I had luck seeing some of the 5 Big very close. The scenery and weather is very similar with some regions in Brazil, i.e, savanna (cerrado) covers a large area of the Brazilian territory and our climate is subtropical in the south. The accommodations, food, transportation and guides were very good - Morokolo lodge is perfect. I suggest to everyone to be at least two days in this game reserve. Enjoy it.

I Dream of Africa: Excellent Immersion Safiri - The Great Rift Valley, the Serengeti and more

This is a small company lead by Christopher Zululu of Arusha, Tanzania. The company specializes in what is called "budget safari", but that belies the reality. We visited the Serengeti, Tanangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Arushu National Parks over a period of weeks. We pitched camp (large tents) deep in each park, and were surrounded by the local environment, geography, flora and fauna. This enabled us to see far more of each, for far longer, than luxury safaris, which almost always start in a lodge outside the parks. We would start safari wildlife drives before dawn, and end just after dark. Our owner/guide has 25 years of experience in the parks, and is an expert on locating wildlife to view, and knows the biology and ecology so that you can understand what you are seeing.

The camping aspect wasn't roughing it: we called it glamping. The safari had an excellent camp cook, who prepared 3 hot meals a day, based on local produce. Because of the altitude in northwestern Tanzania, sleeping was great: it was cool every night. Dawn and dusk were filled the calls of birds and monkeys in the trees overhead, and during the nights you could here the grazers and sometimes the predators moving. Each morning provided an interesting task of identifying the animals that had roamed right outside the tents and campsites from their tracks and scat.

Here are some outstanding moments: dozens of forest elephants walking, running, trumpeting, and calling with low frequency infrasound right next to you; prides of lions with cubs, roaring at leopards with a kill in acacia trees; lions hunting wart hogs less than 40 meters away; adult and infant rhinoceroses in the forest; hiking with an armed ranger through cape buffalo herds and groups of giraffes in lion country; hundreds of wildebeests, impala, gazelle, zebra and buffalo; night safari to see civet cats, porcupines, bush babies and hippopotami out of water; birds of all kinds; baobob trees ... Visiting local towns and villages.

See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_protected_areas_of_Tanzania for a list of species you are likely to see in each park mentioned above. You are likely to see everyone of them, and many more in the highly diverse environments in these parks, ranging from high altitude rain forests to broad grasslands and plains.

Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha to start.

It's a trip of a lifetime.

About: Kenya
Beyond all of my expectations

5/5

My niece and I planned a 3 day safari to Masai-Mara for the final week of October followed by a trip to Lamu Island for 3 days on the beach and exploring the town. We were so pleased with our amazing booking agent Paula who thought thru every detail such as flights and airport transfers between various airports. We could turn our minds down and open our hearts to relax and take everything in.

There was so much to take in! The animals on the safari were all having their babies at this time of year, lucky for us, so we could take in family groups with ease. The wildebeests were finishing their migrations so that was gorgeous to see how they organized themselves. Our guide on the safari went above and beyond to track a wide variety of animals and each day we found ourselves saying "how can it get any better than this?" only to be surprised at how it would always did!

The most special were all the hearts of the Kenyans we met, truly warm and big and kind. We were made to feel so welcome. In fact, that word "Welcome" was said to us many many times and it was felt deeply by us. Kenya is in our hearts and we hope to return to see more of this great country!

Amazing Safari-experience with Wild Wings Safari!
Overall rating
5/5

I booked a 4-day Safari for 9 people in Kruger National Park with Wild Wings Safari. So I was quite cautious in picking a tour operator so that everybody would make great memories. Overall the experience has been amazing and worth every penny.
The communication with Wild Wings Safari was very professional. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and diligently.
The transfer to Kruger and back was perfectly organized, the driver who picked us up from the hotel was nice, on time, and professional.
The Safari itself was amazing, we had a really great tour guide Sam, who was guiding us through Kruger so that we could see all the big 5 and many more animals. He was a man with great competence and very sensitive to our wishes. He knew the park inside out, which is important if you want to see as many animals as possible.
Finally, our cook Jacques did an amazing job providing us with breakfast and dinner, each of the meals were tasty and original from South Africa.
All in all, highly recommended, did not encounter one issue with Wild Wings. Safe bet to make your Safari a success!

Fabulous safari adventure in Botswana.
5/5

This trip was the seventh that Sun Safaris has organized for us and again we were not disappointed. Natasha Allan gave us plenty of options for Botswana and we chose 3 camps run by Desert and Delta. The first for 4 nights was Savute Safari Camp which we have visited many times before and is our firm favourite anywhere. Natasha made sure we booked the best cabin by the water hole, definitely recommended. Next we flew to Camp Xakanaxa in the Moremi reserve. The camp was our first time there although we know the area from previous trips. Beautiful scenery and great game sights, especially the wild dogs. The best part of Xakanaxa is their resident hippo, Oscar, who wanders round the grounds to everyone's delight. The last camp was in the Magkadigkadi region, south from the Delta and a completely new area to us. Camp La Roo Latau has beautiful cabins high on the escarpment of the Boteti River, surrounded by semi arid desert. The game is not as dense as the Delta but never the less is full of extraordinary sights. The optional full day drive to the Nxai Pans is recommended despite being quite arduous - the water hole at the pan is magnificent as are the Baines Baobabs nearby.

Natasha not only booked our camps but also all connecting flights including from Johannesburg to Botswana and back. Everything went flawlessly and we could not be happier with the arrangements. Natasha also helped us with the booking of our further driving trip around KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. Her suggestion of Rhino Ridge Lodge in the Hluhluwe Park was wonderful - one of the most luxurious places I have stayed in.

Amazing Experience
5/5

I was part of the group of 16 as reviewed by “Lin” and concur with her comments re itinerary, accommodation etc.

As we changed vehicles on a daily basis we enjoyed the company of Junior, Jeff, Kelvin and Daniel. All our guides were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and ensured we were always in a great position to view and photograph the animals. Was constantly amazed how they managed to spot some of the animals whilst answering all of our wide range of questions.

Thank you for taking such care of us. Your driving was amazing and your vehicles presented beautifully groomed each day. Thank you Earthlife for such a great experience and providing guides that are a credit to you and your country.

an experience to repeat
5/5

The team at Dunas Safari organized a fantastic 18 days self-driving safari to us. While respecting our preferences, they provided valuable advice on lodge choice, connecting routes, sightseeing on the way and tips on how to. Furthermore, they made some last minute reservations for activities/tours and were always available when we had questions on route.
We will recommend them without hesitation to our friends and will certain use their services for our next trip to southern Africa.
