Original contact was with Sylvester over the phone. Very easy to talk to about the types of Safari and what his company can offer. Further communications through email and whats app. The Safari was part of our honeymoon and Sylvester was always quick to respond to any of our quieries and questions. He met us at the airport in Nairobi with Asan our guide for the 5 days. Left us at our hotel that evening and both of them were back to meet us early the next morning. Asan was then with us for the next 5 days as we vistited 3 different parks around Kenya. His knowledge is excellent and would recommend him for any safari around Kenya. He was very easy to get on with, always puctual and made our experience so much more relaxed. I spent months looking at Safaris all over Africa including Tanzania, South Africa/Vic falls and trying to decide which one to settle on and how long the safari should be. In the end i write this review to say that we are very happy we chose to go with Seven By Far and i would recommend them to anyone who wishes to Safari in Kenya.

Perfect 5 days midrange tenteg-lodge safari!
The 5 days tour is perfect to enjoy the great wildlife of Tanzania. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara , Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.
We spotted a lot of animals, including more than 30 lions!
All lodges and tents were perfect. Our driver/guide Adam was very professional and kind.
In short: everything was very good organized and we had a great safari!

Fabulous 5-Day Safari Experience
My partner and I booked a two-person, 5-day safari with Transtrek. Daniel was prompt, forthcoming, and full of helpful information before booking and also before our trip departure from the US. Once with our local guidedriver, Tony, we knew we were in good hands. Tony was highly knowledgeable about wildlife, friendly with the Masai guides at our lodges, and was happy to customize and cater our day treks to our needs. He made sure we had chances to see all the big 5 and any particular animals we were interested in and we loved being in our private Range Rover for viewing without the crowds.
We especially loved the Basecamp Eagle's Nest camping experience--this ecotourism group is owned by the Masai people and does great work in the community. It was the best of the places we stayed and we really got to know the staff--from our Masai guides to the chef to the locals in the nearby village. It made our trip special!

Our tour was 3 day Masai Mara over Night in a camp
This was the Best tour we ever made. The Kontakt with Simon was very friendly . They picked us up from our Hotel and the tour started. We hat 3 great days with our driver Samy. He didnt erst, bevor he showed us all the big 5. The Camp was really comfortable and the food was very well. We always feel very safe at the Camp, the driving and the very near wild animals. Thank you very much for this ecperience. We well come back and see more from you wonderful land Kenia.

A well organised adventure
Initially living in tents albeit up market ones was a bit daunting but we came to love the experiences - lying in bed listening to the sounds of the African night. Lusekelo was a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable (I am a zoologist myself). The food was far better than we could have hoped for although the drinks in the Sopa lodge were very expensive.

My family and I were blessed with an amazing experience because this company loves what they do!
Trying to find a company to book our safari through was a bit stressful as their are many to choose from. After speaking with Thale in our first email together she stood out from all the rest. She was timely in responding to all my questions and accomodated all my requests (travelling with 1year old son, vegan food, etc)
Our guides Chris and Lumi were so amazing. They are full of information about all the animals and South Africa in general. My family and I felt so comfortable with them it was actually sad to say our goodbyes at the end of our safari.
Kruger park is magical and we were able to see all the animals we had hoped for! This is a great company to book your tour with!

Awesome vacation in kenya
It just happened when I was googling for some vacation choices in kenya.. received a what's app message from Ms. Pamela offering to help organise one for us.. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning. But I must say quality, service and hospitality is what she and her team lives and breathe. It's in their DNA. Pamela made this vacation by far the best one we have had so far and all that was managed via whatsapp. I had asked for a lot of customisation in my itenerary and it was ensured that all my requests were taken care off. Starting from my last minute request to do a day tour in Nairobi, pleasant surprise from Pamela to book us into the mara serena lodge, all the accommodations ( luxury) were like heaven, awesome food that we could not skip any of the buffet all 3 times a day for 9 days. Game drives, were awesome and must mention about Mr. James our guide and driver. He became a part of our family as he was with us for all the 9 days just making sure we were taken care off and making every single game drive a memorable experience. He was punctual, very friendly, very patient with our million questions and flexible too. From the time we were received at the airport by Pamela and James till the time we were dropped off at the airport there was no confusion nor panic. I was wondering how can every person give a great review about this tour company. To be honest and candid, you need to book your vacation through magical retreats to believe it. We have already made up our mind to come back again thru magical retreats and we will ask for James again. But will do it only after they finish the roads to masai mara. On a lighter note we had quite a hard african massage on our way to Masai Mara. 9 days, 16 game drives, 1000kms, 5 luxury lodges, 4000+ pictures, plenty of food and awesome people with great hospitality made our trip the best one we have had. Thanks Pamela and James for this wonderful vacation that we will treasure our memories for ever.

Amazing experience
From the minute we stepped into the ABC vehicle at the entrance to Hwange National Park we were impressed by the knowledge and care of the entire staff. A beautiful evening drive to Somalisa, including a stop at a pan for a beer and wildlife sightings, ended with a warm welcome, delicious dinner and drinks by the fire. We were delighted with the comfortable queen size bed in our tent and slept like the weary travelers we were! Our days at Somalisa and then Mana Pools were magical. Walking safaris with Calvet and then Fisher were filled with wonder. Even quiet times in the middle of the day were full of animal watching as elephants came right up to where we were sitting by the plunge pool at Somalisa, or played in the mud outside our tent at Mana Pools. Every meal was delicious, every staff member was welcoming and knowledgeable, every need anticipated and met, unexpected delights each day. This trip was a 50th birthday/25th anniversary gift to ourselves that exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended for all ages!
