Thank you
5/5

My sister and I have been to Tanzania for a trip back to the past to find the places we used to visit when we lived our childhood in Mtera a small village between Dodoma and Iringa. We knew it would have been quite a mission impossible to find our memories after 30 years but with the precious help of our guide Kazunga and Sona who has made sure everything was smooth we managed to find exactly what we were looking for. Kazunga has been professional, friendly and most reliable and this has made us feel at ease and safe. We went to Dodoma, Iringa, had a safari in Ruaha National Park, spent some days in Dar Es Salaam and some in Zanzibar. All has been perfect! Thank you so much once more!

Amazing experience! 7 days safari and Kilimanjaro
5/5

I did two activities with the Kili Slope: Ascent to Mount Kilimanjaro via Machame route and 7 days of safari. The initial email contact was very good. David Maro is very friendly, gave quick answers and made the booking process very easy. On arrival at the airport there was already a Kili Slope front desk staff and it was alright. I stayed in a simple hotel (Meru Inn), however clean and tidy. No problem. The climb to Kilimanjaro was very good. The guide, cook and porters always very friendly and helpful. The food during the climb is excellent and of good quality. Everything went very well and the service was very good.
The 7 day safari was also excellent. The car is very good, the meals are also great. We visited the parks, saw lots of animals and the campsites were very good. I make a special highlight for the guide Ziggy. He drives very well and has a lot of experience on safaris. We found several animals. He was very helpful and friendly. Anyway, I recommend the Kili Slope for safaris and Kilimanjaro. The service was great and the prices were very good too.

From every point of view a lasting experience
5/5

The nature of this country is of incredible beauty. Xavier, our guide, was the best we could have to introduce us to this beauty, very professional regarding organization, very experienced with everything related to wildlife, very open to let us look a bit deeper into the culture of his country.
He's not only doing his job, he's doing it with dedication. It was great to have him as a guide!

The lodges we slept in were very nice and particular places, we really enjoyed staying there.
The food was good, but as it seems to be usual in Uganda, in the lodges the food offered is very influenced by Indian culture. The quality of everything we tried was without any doubt very good, but I can't hide that I enjoyed very much when there was the opportunity to try also local food whilst travelling...

It's difficult to describe all the single aspects of this trip. It was a really significant experience in its whole - for everything we had the opportunity to live and see there and thanks to the excellent back ground work of organization and preparation of our tour operator.

To be honest, we just want to go back and do another trip. Can't wait for it!

Great Experience!!
5/5

Many thanks to Splendours of Africa Tours and Travel for our Amazing Tanzania safari experience :) :). We contacted Mr. Ben Owino who was just excellent, efficiency and always nice in responding to our quires and helpful in giving us different safari options. Unlike some big companies, Splendours of Africa Tours and Travel is very flexible and attentive to detail. They can make personalized itinerary for customers, and this really was our favorite and concerned. The quotation is also reasonable too which worked out well for us!

Finally, we agreed on payment terms and conditions and booked safari with Ben who later met us on arrival in Tanzania Airport as agreed and drove us in a Private 4x4-Wheel Drive Toyota Land Cruiser to our hotel Mount Meru in Arusha town which was already been booked on bed and breakfast basis. Even though we didn’t book a private safari, Ben gave us a vehicle for ourselves for the entire safari…What a surprise…Private safari!!!

Our guide Mr. Zige was amazing, professional and knowledgeable about wildlife, landscape and culture. It was magic, he perfectly adapted to what we expected, positioned us for the best pictures you could image to the animals and birds as long as we wanted. We show all of the big 5 animals e.g. elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard in one sighting on our safari. Besides the big five animals, we show lots of other animals and different birds’ species including the traditional-cultural shows on our 6 days safari programme.

We visited Serengeti national park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara as well as Ngorongoro Crater Park national park. We didn’t realize the long distance drive between the parks because we could stop at some points on the way to see the beauty and rich cultural heritage of Tanzanian people. The food was superb out in the bush camp. Alidi, the chef is a true master of the grill for all meals. The taste and seasoning was awesome, he made sure we were full every meal. The accommodations were more than I expected out of a tent camp.

This was our first safari ever, so can strongly say - I was expecting to see a huge zoo, but this was far away from my imagination. It was stunning everywhere when we immersed into paradise of wildlife in the Savannah…it was amazing experience! We brought back home treasured pictures into our albums.

Other tourists we saw were on group rides, and more or less sticking to the itinerary routes, they were definitely jealous for us because we could drive wherever we wanted, took much time watching animals as we wanted since we were travelling in a group of five family friends...

So to sum it up, we had a wonderful time in wonderful places, with wonderful people; you will never forget this experience of a lifetime!

I strongly recommend Splendours of Africa Tours and Travel Company- excellent communication and advise very polite and helpful staff, perfect organizational skills and total customer satisfaction service…100%!

Camping united us in the wildlife adventure
4/5

It was my first time in Africa, I didn't have much expectations. My friend told me the National Parks where going to be amazing, but we didn't want to spend tons of money on a Safari. We found Open Safari for a great deal, and our driver "Moody" was responsable for us to succeed our expectations. The organization was simple, we booked the trip and pay for it via paypal. All the cars that go into the Safaris, are pretty much the same type of car, so I felt that we will experience the Safari as the same as other that pay more but for less. "Moody" was for us for whatever we needed. In the parks some times there is no electricity so he make sure we had our phone charge for us to take pictures of the wild life, and guide us where to find our needs for the night, such some cold beer or wine. We travel with a personal cook, that astonish me how he could create delicious meals at night with such few resources. Lunches where pretty basic as we just bite something in a nice spot in the parks, watching out that monkeys don't steal from our lunch boxes. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the camping in the Serengeti, but the company explained to me that the responsable for its maintenance was the park. It was pretty nasty. I will suggest that if you could afford it, go to some Lodges. The camping above Ngorongoro Crater had a great view and was more aceptable. I will highly recommend the company. Once you understand how all this companies work, I believe none one had an intention to trick or cheat on you, they will try their best to make you happy, at it should be.

Incredible Experience and Top Service
5/5

This was an absolutely flawless experience. I have booked this safari two months in advance for me and my girlfriend, unsure of which dates I would be able to go, and was a bit apprehensive about sending off money to a company that far ahead of time without guaranty other than an email.

The team was transparent from the beginning and allowed me to change my dates further down the line for the Gorilla Permits, as well as only paying for these upfront and wait until I was there to settle the balance.

Our Guide, Ben Aloysius Kyeyune was a joy to be around, extremely knowledgeable and with a rare intelligence. I have had the chance to travel to many countries and this guy was one of the best tour guide you could ask for, we truly bonded over the 3 days we were there.

The Gorilla Trekking was flawless, this is one of the best trip you can make, fascinating by all accounts, and the BroadBill Camp we stayed at in Bwindi was gorgeous. The tents have their own shower with hot water and bathroom, and monkeys are hanging out in front of the balcony. It was quiet and out in the wild, a truly beautiful experience.

Don't think twice, just go for it.

Amazing Experience
5/5

We have no words to describe our experience at Gomo Gomo Safari in South Africa, the experience we had there was far beyond what we could imagine and exceeded our expectations. I would like to thank immensely Natasha Allan (consultant) for all help and patience, if it were not for her help and suggestion we would not have been able to have this experience, again thank you very much!
