A wonderful safari experience that we will never forget!
5/5

Our trip started a bit bumpy because we missed our connecting flight in Nairobi. It was very advantageous that we were able to inform Alex about our delay by WhatsApp and thus in the middle of the night a driver waited for us at the airport and brought us safely to our accommodation. The next morning our private guide Allen picked us up for the first safari day. The jeep was exactly suitable for us 4 incl. Allen and our luggage. Allen is a very attentive and humorous guide, who entertained us well even on longer distances and answered all our questions. We were able to coordinate our daily routine with him during dinner and arrange it according to our wishes. We could discover and marvel at numerous animals and even had a "private leopard" at our tent camp, which we could admire from close range. We enjoyed the 8 days safari with Mama Savana very much, and are very grateful to Allen for his knowledge about humans and animals in Africa which he passed on to us, also by his jokes we quickly took him to our hearts. On our flight to Zanzibar unfortunately our luggage didn't come with us, Alex also tried to make sure that our luggage would be forwarded quickly. We recommend the trip with Mama Savana with pleasure.

Best Safari and best Driver/guide in 40 years!
5/5

Our wonderful 6 day Safari to The Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli it was a superb experience.
We enjoyed every minute, we saw so much and we were blessed to have such an excellent driver/guide.
We have been on Safari in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa and we have had good guides but none
of them come close to Jeffery he is special and the best.
I will tell myfriends to make sure they request Jef if the are booking a Safari with
Karibu Safaris.
He is an excellent driver and so knowledgable we saw all the animals and more, Jef knew where to go and what to see. I was so happy to be with some one who knows so much about the bird life which is my own particular interest.
Thank you all at Karibu Safari for a great tour.
I will certainly tell my friends to book with you. And if we come back we will certainly be contacting you perhaps for a shorter Safari because for Wazungu Wazee like us (I am 70 years old) 12 hours touring the Masai Mara can be tiring. But that is not a complaint.
Once again we have had the best Safari and the best tour guide in 40 years.
Asante, mingi sana

Tammy helped us plan the trip of a lifetime!
5/5

I had an absolutely fantastic experience planning my recent safari with Tammy from Pembury Tours. Early in my vacation planning, I submitted multiple inquiries on safaribookings.com. Of the many travel consultants who responded, Tammy was by far the most helpful, prompt, and thorough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. At the time, I had never visited Africa or gone on safari, and wasn't entirely sure what country or region I wanted to visit. Tammy asked all the right questions and answered my endless queries in order to help my partner and I pick the perfect itinerary for us.

We booked 5 nights of safari, split between Thanda and Phinda game reserves in South Africa. We absolutely loved both reserves, which are near each other but offer very different guest experiences. Tammy even secured us an upgrade from the tented camp to the lodge at Thanda, and our accommodations were jaw-droppingly fabulous. What's more is that she saved us a substantial amount of money - the safari was significantly cheaper than it would have been to book directly, even not counting the extra value of the upgrade. She arranged our flights and transfers, which all worked seamlessly.

I'll end with a small example of how Tammy went above and beyond: We only used Pembury for the safari portion of our longer vacation, opting to stay in AirBnBs and travel more independently for the rest. Learning this, Tammy volunteered to take a look at the different AirBnBs I was considering in Cape Town in order to ensure that we were staying in a good, safe location. Her help allowed us to feel confident in even the parts of the trip that we didn't book through Pembury!

All in all, I highly recommend Tammy and Pembury. I hope to return to Africa with them soon!

very professional and transparent company
5/5

We experienced throughout our whole trip to Mount Meru a very professional service. The manager Emman answered within very short time to our request even if it was very last minute, we were picked up at the Airport, transferred to our hotel and received a professional pre-tour briefing. Also during the trip, our experience was very positive. Our guide Geoffrey and the whole crew delivered outstanding service. Even during the short drive within Arusha National Park, we learned more from our driver Mike about wildlife than in several days safari in another country.
After the trek, Emman offered in a very transparent way for a private safari. Unfortunately, the private option was above our budget (but still not expensive for a private trip). We would have loved to go on Safari with the crew from Kili Serengeti Holidays because we are convinced about their crew and their service.

A wonderful memorable experience
5/5

All connections and stays went well. Arrival at Dar was chaos, hopefullly the new Terminal will sort this.

Slipway Hotel: Pleasant room overlooking the sea.

At Lake Manza animals presented themselves from the minute we got off the plane. Lake trips were a delight. I was happy with the candles, kerosene lamp and a torch to light the tent and it did add a little to the charm, others may be less impressed. The two of us had a driver and guide to ourselves most of the time and we felt exclusive. The lake trips were a delight with animals and birds surrounding us.

Ikuka was absolute luxury and everything including insect repellant, laundry and drinks was included. The driver was also the guide and there were up to four others with us. The driver was good but the support was therefore not so special. The camp being on top of a hill was good because it was cool but bad because it took a while to get down to see any animals. WE may have seen more animals from a river side camp . A couple we met from the riverside camp said that flies were not a problem and that they had seen many more animals including leopards. We did get a couple of tetse bites but no real problems.

Both camps:
* No mosquitos,
* held evening meals at a long table big enough for all guests. It was good to swap stories,
* had well designed and substantial "tents" with mosqito proof zip up gauze screening. The beds had the comfort of a top class hotel.

Great communication and super friendly people
5/5

Our experience has been great, unfortunately my grandfather passed away 1,5 days! before our holiday started! Without hesitation Rose offered us to change our travel dates with no extra charge or proof. The people at Safariline Defender are also extremely friendly so you won't go wrong with them.

Our driver Geoffrey was very patient and knowledgeable, knew every bird, animal or plant by heart and had passion finding the animals and getting us in the right spot to view them!

Fantastic 1 Day safari to Ngorongoro crater
5/5

I chose to go on a 1 day safari to Ngorongoro crater in the last minute, through World Safari Land Tours. My experience with the managing director (Calvin) in coordinating the schedule was outstanding. He made every attempt to make the schedule work. The email responses were very prompt.

The safari itself was awesome and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Joshua was my guide, he is very experienced, friendly and knew his ways around at the crater!
There was no delay in the arrival/departure times. The lunch was good too and most importantly we were able to see most of the animals!!

I would definitely recommend World Safari Land Tours to anyone I know without a doubt!
