They are on top when it comes to communication, their drivers and guide are the best. They also keep time and know and understand what they are doing.
Its the best tour company

Awesome day!
Gideon was my guide in Arusha NP. He knows a lot about the animals we encountered and he was super friendly. Trip was arranged last minute so I was very happy that they could accommodate me. It was nice to spend the day with Gideon, on top of being a good guide, he is also an excellent driver which comes in handy in the park. Even when an elephant thought we were too close, he remained calm and just gave the elephants their space. Awesome day, definitely recommended!

Great experience!!
Jessica was great. She was always on top of things and quickly responded to my questions. It wasn't until I took the trip that I truly realized how much she had her act together. Each of the tour operators and/or hosts were top notch. Accommodations were fantastic. All the staff would do anything they could to help. We choose Tanzania for the trip and were not sorry. Each place within the country we went was different and we saw different things. We saw everything we wanted to: a crossing with a kill, lion cubs, the big 5...you name it, we saw it. Great trip!

They love what they do! and give an a spectacular service
If we had to describe the experience in a few words, it is with a "They love what they do". That makes your trip perfect. Everything very well coordinated.
Anton was an incredible guide, it shows that he loves his work, he shows it minute by minute, always very clear and very concerned about us. He took us to wonderful viewpoints in Kruger, which it seems that only he knows. We do not speak English very very well, and Anton talked to us slower so we could understand. This is how we communicate perfectly.
Ben (the assistant) was also great, very neat when cooking, kind, worried ... great. The food was always delicious!!
Anton and Ben were even more excited than we were to see animals. It is evident that they enjoy it and that they make an effort so that we also enjoy it.
The service we received was of the highest quality. They have a 10 out of 10.
Thanks to all team from, Wild Planet Safaris. They gave us a great safari.

Horrible experience
Me and a friend ended up with Abraham Shaidi's company (Sandland) as a third party booking. We didn't knew about them at the beginning.
The first day it took us 12 hours to arrive from Arusha to Serengeti, because we made like 6 stops waiting for everything that was supposed to be arranged before (the chef, the food, the vegetables, going to the office, etc).. so we only got to see the animals that day for only one hour.
In the meanwhile, in the same car there was a lady that had a totally different itinerary than ours. We were supposed to be 2 days in Serengeti and 1 in Nogorongo, in campsites. Hers was 3 days in Serengeti and 1 in Nogorongo, in lodges. Nobody (even the guide) knew what will happen with this differences..
Finally it happened that our third day we were supposed to go very early to nogorongo and spent the day there, but we had to wait for almost 4 hours for Shaidi to pay the Lodge of the lady so they would let her and the guide go. For that reason, we couldn't do the crater that day so we had to stay one more day. The chef didn't have food enough because he calculated for 3 days, not 4. And we didn't have any mattress for the third night!
The guide was payed only for three days so he had to return to Arusha an leave us in nogorongo de third night. We didn't know what was going to happen the next day. Finally when we woke up the 4day the other lady was again waiting for Shaidi to pay the Lodge. Another driver went to pick her up and pay for it. Then they came to pick us up, but the crater permit wasn't payed.. so we have to wait again almost 3 hours, and finally we had been in the crater only for 2.
The new driver was just a driver, he didn't know anything about animals.
To sum up, this company and Abraham Shaidi are a shame. Please don't book with them. Nobody knows what he does with the money. Is nonsense.

Classic Journeys and their amazing staff strive for excellence and exceeded our expectations !!
Classic Journeys was nothing short of “Amazing” to deal with. They helped us put together a “trip of a lifetime” to Africa and selected top notch accommodations while in Kenya and Tanzania, that exceeded our expectations! Charles & Newton in the office helped to customize a private 4 person Safari & were always prompt in responding to our requests and questions...no matter what time of day. They always gave us good advice and suggestions. The guide they assigned to us while in Tanzania was Jonas who we instantly “fell in love” with!! Jonas was born to be a Safari Guide and spent long game drive days with us while in the Serengeti ensuring our safety at all times and having the utmost respect for the beautiful landscape and the animals that live there. It appeared to us that Classic Journeys selects their guides with this in mind. While in the Masi Mara, Sammy was our wonderful guide! With his passion for photography, Sammy was able to take us to places and help us take pictures that look like they are right out of National Geographic magazine!! Not to mention...Sammy tracking down a black Rino for 2 days to fulfill our “big five” sightings!!! While Jonas...found us 3 crossings of the wildeebestes in the “great migration”...an unforgettable experience of a lifetime as well as sharing laughter over the “2 tailed zebra” and the “5 legged elephant”lol
