not a hitch !
5/5

we are very well travelled and have booked private tours in many different areas of the world, I can't speak highly enough of the speed of correspondance offered by Dickson, is response was always with-in 24 hrs .we travelled in Uganda and Tanzania in a mid-priced option range, the hotels used ( with the exception of the Arusha tourist hotel) , were excellent, on 2 occasions we were the only guests and we still received perfect service. The drivers and guides in both countries spoke perfect English and had exceptional knowledge of their countries which they went out of their way to show off.
Dickson was very easy to deal with and was very flexible and accommodating when we asked for different options, I believe his product was very well priced( I researched at least another 6 companies with the same itinerary) and great value.

Undescribable
Overall rating
5/5

An undescribable, awesome experience.
The most beautiful scenery, changing in color en details each moment the sun shines (or even not shines)
Not enough eyes to see all the wildlife on the borders, in the bush, in the sky...
Very friendly and professional guides.
The total experience was 1 big highlight!!!
Recommend it to all!!!

Great wildlife sightseeing and infrastructure
Overall rating
5/5

I went to the Kruger Park in November/16, during 3 days. We entered the Park through the Phalaborwa Gate and drove via Olifants - Satara - Skukuza to exit using the Numbi Gate, overall good roads, ideal even for compact cars. You might look for a taller car (like a minibus/van) to have a better view (the higher the better). A 4x4 won't help much as most of dirt roads are closed to tourists.

There is abundant wildlife in the park: elephants, leopards, hippopotamuses, rhinos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, waterbucks, just to name some of them.

Early spring is a great time to visit the park, as it is the start of the rainy season, so vegetation is green and there are lots of new-born animals to see.

The Park infrastructure for tourists is great, plenty of accommodation options in the various camps, reasonably good restaurants/markets.
If you want to enjoy the place, I would recommend a longer stay (5-7 days) with 2-3 nights in a camp. I strongly recommend to visit different regions of the park, as vegetation / wildlife / landscape quickly changes from one area of the park to another. Just be careful that searching for animals in the landscape can be quite exhausting, especially for people who are expecting something like a visit to a zoo.

The Park was not very busy, even in Skukuza, as we went during the low season.

Two final tips: get a binocular for every 1-2 person in the group ('any' binocular is better than no binocular) and buy the map/guide from SANS park that is sold in the gates, it has a lot of useful information and it has a better layout than most travel guides sold in bookstores.

Excellent trip; I really couldn't ask for more in terms of what I got!
5/5

The trip was wonderful! Antje did a great job of selecting two camps and explained the tradeoffs between spending more money and the differences in experience. Once I arrived, they really did a wonderful job of making sure everything was taken care of.

On my final day, "winding down" in Cape Town, the manager (whose name, alas, I don't recall) took me out for drinks, talking about the experience and some things I saw there. We spoke a bit about future plans, and I have to really give him credit for something you don't see often: He told me, "based on what you've seen and enjoyed, you really should go to South America some time; you'd love it. We can't book that, but I've been and highly recommend the area." It's rare for a company to say "we can't sell you this, but you should buy it," and I respect anyone who does highly.

If I had one complaint, it would be that I don't think they adequately warned me up front that, by arriving in the wet season, I ran the risk of not seeing as much, with many animals hiding in the thick foliage. As it turned out, that wasn't a problem at all, with some amazing experiences, but what the guides warned me up front when I arrived (that it could be a limited experience) didn't really match what Adventura said. Keep in mind, I traveled in the off-season and KNEW it was the off-season, and this really only applies in the first quarter of the year, when this is a problem. The work they did arranging it and the trip itself was spot-on, but I'd have liked a bit more advice about the risks of off-season adventuring.

That all being said, I really don't want to allow that to take away from how highly I recommend them for the experience! They clearly knew the area (Botswana) well, were able to make very intelligent and helpful recommendations as to the different camps, and in the end, it was a trip I will never forget. When and if I make a trip back, I'll certainly reach out to them for help again!

Excellent introduction to Namibia! Quality tour from start to finish.
5/5

Nature Travel Namibia provided an excellent introduction to the marvels of Namibia. The logistics were seamless, the trip itself was amazing, accommodations just right , our guide Kit was perfect , and I would go back with them anytime . Esmari, running their operation, who I have not met but have corresponded with before, during and after the trip, was professional, alert to specific needs, and a delight to deal with. My son, currently a Peace Corps volunteer in Comorous, met me in Windhoek for this trip. It was a trip of a lifetime and it could not have been any better .
I recommend Nature Travel Namibia without reservation.
