Life changing experience, highly recommended
Life changing experience, highly recommended. The company is owned by a local Tanzanian ex-guide (support local businesses and people!). Lodging throughout the safari was so cool - from big comfortable tent-houses in the wild to luxurious local hotels. Food was awesome and delicious. We saw all the animals (except rhino from the close up) and had fun waking up at a crack of dawn to catch animals when they’re most active. Kilimanjaro base camp hike was pretty cool and unique. Our guide was the best and made the safari experience that much more enjoyable. Truly lucky to have had him (Goodluck is his name). Very knowledgeable, pleasant, funny and a good person. Booking experience was excellent, Lion King people are very accommodating.
Tanzanians are friendly, hardworking, polite and fair people - enjoyed every single person I met and will definitely be back for other safaris and experiences!

Friendly, reliable and representing Uganda
Very reliable tour operator. We felt safe all the time with our guide, who has explained us a lot of background information. Uganda was a great experience for us! Visiting the Gorillas at Bwindi was a highlight, relaxing at Mutanda lake and enjoying Mburo Nationalpark simply a must-do! Thanks for many impressive moments and all the friendly people around us!

Clyde the 'Travel Fairy' planned and executed the honeymoon of a lifetime!
There aren't enough stars to accurately rate our experience working with Clyde and Tailormade. We came to Clyde from a friend's recommendation a month before our wedding wanting to leave for our honeymoon immediately after, in the middle of a home remodel and working full-time. We knew we wanted to go on a Safari, but had never been before, and didn't have the time to research where to go. Clyde not only planned the most magical trip to the most amazing places we could have imagined, he also made sure the entire trip was seamless. So much so we began fondly referring to him as the 'Travel Fairy' with all the small surprises along the way. Friendly greeters met us when we needed transport to and from different locations, all the COVID tests we needed to get in an out of Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa were all pre-arranged - we didn't have to figure anything out ourselves. Not our normal way of traveling, but it was so nice not to be stressed on our honeymoon.
We had an issue with one of the airlines cancelling our flight while we were en route and Clyde sent someone to meet us in Johannesburg to escort us through the airport, through customs, and the airline's customer service to book us on another flight the same day. When I say the trip was seamless - it was truly seamless even in the middle of a pandemic. The Wilderness camps he sent us to were spectacular - the people and staff were wonderful and we saw the most incredible things. Leopards, lions, wild dogs, elephants, hippos, giraffe, buffalo, all kinds of antelope, and so many more incredible animals. If you are on the fence about traveling to Africa during COVID, book with Clyde and he will take care of everything for you. We will recommend Clyde and Tailormade to all of our friends and family.

Amazing tour for Ethiopia
Armaye was patient, professional and responsive in the whole process. He answered a lot of detailed questions from me and made effort to tailor it to our needs. When Covid hit, we had to end our trip early and he was also very kind to refund part of the cost. Our driver was also super nice, always very patient and constantly thinking about our needs during the whole tour. They both speak great English and very easy to communicate to.

What a trip! We worked with Goodluck as our guide. Pendo assisted in our booking. She is incredibly organized, even when I wasn’t! The tour was amazing, Goodluck answered all our outrageous questions - how long are elephants pregnant for? Why do lions roar? What animals eat what animals? You name it! He knew all the answers. We are so glad we decided to go on this trip. And, it’s the perfect way to travel during covid!!! It’s just your group and the guide - totally safe. Ugh! I can’t say enough, such an eye opening experience - one of the best trips I’ve ever been on (avid traveler, 47 countries) this is one for the books! Awesome safari
It was a fantastic safari we had courtesy of Nitarudi Afrika Safaris. They made arrangements from end to end and our bit was only to go on holiday and enjoy ourselves! The choice of hotel was great, with friendly staff, really good food and memorable game drives. This is not to forget that Nitarudi helped to negotiate pocket friendly rates. As their name Nitarudi suggests (I’ll come back in Swahili), we will certainly be back to Nitarudi to arrange for another safari.

2021 KILELE Challenge. Mt. Kenya Sirimon Route with 11 cancer survivors/caregivers
The team at Arch Treks Safaris was amazing. They took 11 cancer survivors/caregivers up Mt. Kenya. 4 days 5 nights up and down Sirimon route. Amazing people. The porters, the cooks, the guides. And awesome team of individuals who tailor made this trip to our individual abilities while ensuring the group met is collective goals. Very caring and experienced team of people. We couldn’t have done it without them. Beautiful Scenery, beautiful people, beautiful Kenya.
