I worked directly with Smile with Us Tours in Africa to book a 9-day safari in southern Tanzania to the lesser visited parks--Nyerere, Mikumi, Udzungwa Mountains, and Ruaha National Parks. I was assigned to the travel program as curator of education at a top US zoo, so I knew wildlife safari operations and possibilities. I purposely chose these lesser visited parks as I wanted to experience African ecosystems and wildlife without the crowds and swarms of vehicles--I wasn't disappointed as three days we only encountered two to four other vehicles! We saw a plethora of wildlife, including birds and the landscape was beautiful and the ecosystem was intact.
Smile with Us Tours in Africa worked with me to customize their 8-day fly by safari and even arranged a visit to a site they had never gone to before. They listened and added a variety of activities, 2-night drives, a walking safari with rangers, and two cultural experiences with the Maasai. The daily itinerary was full, but our driver/guide shortened a couple of days so we could relax at our "camps".
The three camps where we stayed at were very nice and the staff worked diligently to take care of our needs and desires. Smile with Us Tours offered the option to upgrade our camps if we wished. The food was varied and offered a variety of local and continental dishes. There were always choices and plenty of vegetables and fruits.
Our driver/guide went out of his way to listen to us and work to meet our wishes and expectations (as much as possible). He worked 12-14 hours each day and provided us with some extra experiences and tastes that were not part of the itinerary. It was nice to have additional guides join us and help lead the safari drives, boat trip, night drives, hikes and walking safari. Our driver/guide recognized that he needed to improve on his English comprehension, but overall, he very good as a leader and his personality was fun loving, yet serious and concerned that we had a great experience.
The land cruiser was adequate, but showed some wear and tear as the roads were rough on a vehicle. There was plenty of room in the vehicle and the roof raised to allow all of us good viewing of the wildlife we encountered. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues, but they were remedied quickly or taken to the "shop" after we were dropped off at camp.
All in all, great value for the 9-day safari and I would recommend you book with Smile with Us Tours in Africa.

Bang for buck. Absolutely worth it
Did a 7 day 6 night safari with Jackson as the guide. The trip was a very positive one overall with Jackson being very accommodating to our needs. Happy to go with him again if I go for a safari in Tanzania in the future.

I had a 10day Rwanda and Uganda safari and Derrick was my tour guide. He was awesome and I learned so much from him and had fun. He made sure everything was to my liking! I always felt safe and could relax and enjoy myself. Hopefully, I will come back with my daughter and he can be our guide!!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
From the moment we connected with Winnie to plan the safari to the moment we were dropped at home everything was amazing. Winnie is so helpful and communicative. She picked us up with a wonderful driver (who we ended up seeing at the lodge a few days later) and took us right into the train station. Once we arrived in Morogoro we were met by Julius who drove us to Mikumi. Julius was awesome and personable. We had the best time talking with him on our two hour trip. Once in mikumi we met with our guide Danford. Danford was fun, kind and knowledgeable! He was so smart and taught us so much. He was patient and helpful with the kids and knew how to get us to the best viewing spots. He had many connections with other guides which helped us have the most amazing fulfilling experience! He was a wonderful driver and made everyone feel safe while keeping it very exciting. We always knew when he got a good call because we would all hold on tight and take off! He gave us so many incredible close encounters! We were sad to leave him. After Julius took us back to
Morogoro we met Winnie and a driver in Dar at the train station. They were happy to see us and we have the most fun recounting our stories on the drive back to our home. I recommend Kihindo tours to anyone looking for an amazing experience!

Operator and Driver worked with the utmost effort to make our trip perfect and memorable
Our 10 days Uganda trip was perfectly organized by Sedrick, boss of Ngoni.
The best of all was Stephen our driver and guide. From the very beginning until the last minute he tried to make the trip as comfortable and memorable for us as possible. He is a safe and good driver as roads are often challenging. We received any necessary information about country and culture we asked for but also we had much fun as he is a very humorous guy. On game drives he was very alert to find all the animals for us.
We can honestly recommend this company!

Our trip to Tanzania Mikkumi and Selous was perfect. Everything was perfectly organized, with a great 4x4 for our transport driven by guide Otto. He is an excellent driver and told us keeping us safe was his priority. He proved to be very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of the parks and Tanzania in general.
The entire safari was amazing filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters and views of the enchanting landscapes, The accommodations were comfortable throughout the journey, serving excellent food making perfect rest points.

What an amazing day at Mikumi national park xxx
What an amazing experience from start to end.
I was collected from My hotel on time with a well spoken guy.
Upon arriving at the airport, I was greeted and was told what I had to do and escorted to chk in for my flight and had a short wait before I boarded my flight which is a small 12 seated plane.
Then upon arriving at Mikumi I was shown my tour guide and I saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos and baboons plus others, then a nice hot meal before we had another hour or so seeing more amazing animals.
My flight back to Zanzibar and then my taxi ride back to my hotel.
I had an amazing day (yet it was a long day).

Excellent to travel with
Steve at Ramja was very good to communicate with and organised everything we needed. Sammy, our driver/guide was experienced, knowledgeable, an excellent driver and good company. The vehicle was modern and comfortable as was the accommodation. All round we had a great safari.
