It was a trip of a lifetime
5/5

The trip of a lifetime!
Vacation2Africa worked with us to put together our personalized itinerary with tented camps, hikes, village interaction, wildebeest migration, Ngorongoro Caldera, several national parks and of course, the Big 5.
To make things exciting we had an escort safari. Since the owner was gonna be in Tanzania he offered to escort us.
Tom (owner) and his staff knew where we needed to be to see the most action. From experience, they could observe an animal's movement and position the vehicles for the best viewing and photos. The drivers amazed us with their ability to spot even the smallest game and birds. With Tom's narration and nightly talks, we came to love his native Tanzania and appreciate the treasures it holds

Bad experience
2/5

In short, we got white-collar pickpocketed. We booked a 7-day safari with Jipe Trekking and Safari. On the morning of departure, we were kept waiting at the hotel for hours such that the first day's activities had to be postponed. On day 3, it emerged that there were problems with the dedicated credit card the driver was provided with to pay the entry fee for Serengeti National Park (it seems the company doesn't trust their staff enough to provide them with a general credit card). We were driven around from bank to bank for hours until the driver was forced to give up and try again tomorrow. As a result, we were now a full day behind schedule. The consequence was that we had to subsequently reduce our time in some of the nicest areas on the trip in order to return on time. When we complained about the fact that we were effectively charged one seventh of the total trip fees to wait around during these delays - none of which were our fault - the owner refused to reimburse us, and was even quite emotionally abusive over email. I suspected his responses could have been cut and pasted from previous dissatisfied clients. We've now lodged a complaint to the Tanzanian consumer affairs department. Fingers crossed.

On the plus side, the rest of our time in Tanzania was great, from the very first moment we no longer had to deal with Jipe!

Excellent from the time I started communicating with Esther Muthoni. She listened.
5/5

I would like to thank Esther for a well organized trip. Robert our driver and guide was very very good. He went out of his way to accommodate us. He is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable about all the places we visited on our trip in Kenya.
We really enjoyed our trip especially maasi Mara. We just made it to see the wildebeest. The Entim camp was very comfortable and well run. The location is ideal for the wildebeest crossings. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Fabulous food.
The hot air ballon ride was a really great experience seeing the animals from above and the breakfast in the wild all I can say is wow! A full breakfast in the middle of the game reserve what an experience! Riz our pilot was also very good and knowledgeable. Perfect take-off and landing.
Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge was really nice too. The staff were great there too. The hotel very well run and location perfect over looking the lake. Great food again.
Lake Bogoria Spa Resort was a disappointment. It was not nice. Not worth the money we paid for it at all. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. But the flamingos made up for it.
My husband and I will definitely come go back to Maasai Mara again this time right in the middle of the migration. We will definitely use Esther at let’s go travel again.
Overall had the most wonderful experience. Thanks you Esther, Robert and Riz, Etim camp staff and Lake Nakuru sopa Lodge staff.

Only once in a lifetime
5/5

Shaheen and Fahreen had it all arranged for our family of 5. We visited parks, Stonetown and Zanzinar and every steps of the way it was well organized, timely so enjoyable. Our children ages 9 and 11 experienced an adventure that will stay with them for their lifetime. The joy we collectively experienced seeing these beautiful places together is truly once in a lifetime. Shaheen and Farheen organized a magical trip customized for us and exceeded every expectation. I would travel with them time and time again and consider them our favourite friends in Kenya. They will ensure your trip is once in a kid.

Thank you Ettiene and Safari With Us!
5/5

Our host, Ettiene was funny, informative and extremely helpful. He picked us up from OR Tambo, and drove us to our safari lodge, the Adventure Lodge, all the while pointing out interesting spots, discussing history and knowledge about South Africa. Our Adventure Lodge was quaint, beautiful and had delicious food. We did an evening and morning safari in Kruger National Park, and we saw all the animals you would want to see- lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, monkeys, you name it! It was a great time. We were on a trip in Lesotho doing charitable work for two weeks in foster homes and this was a great way to end our travels. Very professional, very supportive. When I left my group, I travelled to Capetown for a couple days, and Ettiene recommended a tour guide and trip for me with a friend of his- it was fantastic!!! Great group of people, thank you so much!

Amazing 4 day safari
5/5

For us it was once in a lifetime experience, and thanks to shemeji it was everything we expected.
Fisrt of all, the communication via email and whatsapp was great. Always fast replies from emma. The payment can be done via paypal, that was great for us.
Once we arrrived to arusha, the driver was waiting for us to take us to green mountain hotel. The next day, our guide Ben was very punctual to pick us up. We did a 4 day safari, going to tarangire, serengeti and ngorongoro crater. They are all really amazing and Ben was an incredible guide.
100% recommendable.

Excellent service!
5/5

My partner and I went on a 6 day safari with Home to Africa Tours and Travel in September for chimp and gorilla trekking in Uganda. Elias was very prompt and efficient in communicating with me before and at the start of the trip, which was very much appreciated. Paul, our guide/driver, was very professional and knowledgable. He was especially knowledge about birds. Everything went very smoothly on the safari and we very much enjoyed our time with Home to Africa. We would definitely recommend it to family/friends travelling to Uganda and will contact them again if we are able to return to Uganda!

Robert our travel consultant was a pleasure to deal with!
5/5

Robert provided excellent service and was prompt with answering any questions I had. We had no problems with any of the arrangements he organised for us. The Jenman Safari we booked disappointed in some ways as the vehicles were not as described (6 seaters, no air conditioner, seat belts not working ) Also some of the pre tour information supplied by Jenman was not accurate in regards to drink prices at the accommodation.
