All was as expected, but driver was simply a driver, not a guide
3/5

Hotels and services were exactly as agreed when organising the trip.
Everything went fine except for the fact that the driver was simply acting as a driver, and not doing much explanations about animals, landscape, people, local customs...
Even if he was always polite and correct, we expected more interaction or information from his side, to really profit our trip and learn about the place and the people of Tanzania.
Appart from that, the trip was ok.

Well organized and fun Kilimanjaro expedition
5/5

With a group of 5 friends we booked our Kilimanjaro expedition through Jackpot Safaris. Andrew was our contact person and he was friendly and well-organized every step of the way. Two days before departure we had a briefing together with Andrew and the 3 guides who would be leading our trek - this made us comfortable to know everything was taken care of and we had all equipment necessary.

The expedition went very well. Livingstone, the lead guide ensured that everything was well organized and regularly checked up on our health status. This ensured that all 5 of us made it to the summit on a cloudless morning with great views. Fighting the altitude sickness was though, however, we think taking the 6-day Machame route worked well with a day of acclimatization.

Coming down the mountain we had a great last lunch, thanked all the porters, cooks and guides and back at Jackpot Safaris Andrew was there to hand out our certificates. Thanks Andrew, Linvingstone and the whole crew!

Safari was one of the most wonderful things what had happened with me
5/5

Before Safari we had made investigation of few offices with their offers and choose Karibu because they have chipest price with good program. The living conditions were even better than we expected. Double bad in the individual tent with own bathroom!!! Everything clean, not a lot meal but tasty and enough for being full. But what was the most luckiest in our trip this is Arony driver. Thanks him to show us The Big 5 in 4 days and a lot of other rare animals. He has awesome experience around 20 years, he knows the all roads and shortest ways, he has good knowledges about all animals we saw and good understandable English to explain everything. Even in so dangers (with traffic) county as Kenya Arony shown us very good driver skills and we had staying safe all the trip without losing speed. What we definitely understood the main thing when you try to choose safari is the experience of your driver - without good driver you won't see something really interesting or will be stuck in the wet road. Just two things which I didn't like it is Naivasha lake and visiting Maasai village. They cost 20$ per person but I think it is too much and the driver should have clarify all additional visiting on the start of the trip.

Samburu 3 Nights and Nanyuki 2 Nights
5/5

My trip was amazing having booked with palmridge tours. The driver was cooperative and guided us well thought-out the whole trip. The accommodation was well organized as we wanted and the safari to the reserve was fantastic as we were able to see most of the big five and other animals. Would recommend if you want to travel book with Palmridge Tours as they will not disappoint you. Looking forward to another one to Masai Mara for the wilderbeest migration in July.

Excellent choice for Safaris in South Africa
5/5

One of the best tours I have ever done. The guide Alex Freire is a sensational person who knows a lot about the subject and loves what he does, which is something very important. I had the opportunity to see animals very closely and it was a great experience. Ideal for anyone wanting to do a Safari in Johannesburg. He speaks fluent Portuguese as well as German and English. The company does other very interesting tours as well (including for Namibia and Botswana, which I want to do in the future). I recommend you check out the Unique-Safaris website and facebook.

A reliable tour agency and very good planning of our itinerary by Ms Laurette of Pembury
5/5

We are a group of 12 seniors from Singapore just back from an exhilarating 15 days tour of South Africa, Safari Parks and Victoria Falls. Our itinerary was initiated by us but Ms Laurette of Pembury has given lots of input and suggestions on the feasibility. During the 6 months of preparation , Ms Laurette has promptly and patiently responded to our enquiry. When the final countdown on 24/2 our anxieties were relieved, every thing went without a single glitch that include different countries transfers, tour guides, games drives, restaurants booking etc. We thank you Laurette for the wonderful and hardworking attituude. We strongly recommend her services to all who wish to visit South Africa and Victoria Falls.

Excellent service, reliable and professional!
5/5

My friends and I planned for a safari tour including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro so we heard from a friend about Ruff n Tuff safaris and told us that they offer the best services l. So we started communicating with Ruff n Tuff Safaris, they were prompt in responding to our emails. We agreed that we would need an experienced guide and that's who we got to be exact they gave us Rama Mustafa who was all we could ask from a guide. Our trip started when we arrived at the Kilimanjaro airport where we were received by the company staff who were very welcoming. During the trek the guide was very calm and not rushing us. All in all my friends and I had a great time which was made even great by Ruff n Tuff Safaris!!

Great Place For Wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

What makes Tarangire special is your guaranteed to see lots of wildlife. More then enough elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, monkeys, and more. When I visited in October was just past the rainy season and the weather was perfect. The rugged terrain there seems to help contain the animals to the park. The dirt roads are also well placed taking you near great watering holes and the road. The park also has great facilities at the entrance and lunch service was available. The park was not crowded but did have a steady stream of groups coming and going.

Probably a little bit crowded for the bush vibe, there is some nice scenery but nothing that was a must see, lots of wildlife,
